The Taylin Sisters vs Heart and Passion

Standard Match: Victory is determined by pinfall, submission, KO, countout, or disqualification.

Backstage, the tag team of Katherine Heart and Matthew Pasión readied themselves for their debut match. Or at least, that's what their manager would tell you if you were to inquire about what was going on.

"Matt! Why so irritable? Don't get your tights in a bunch, papi! You guys will do great as a team! Now get out there and do me proud! Both of you!" Mina said to Matt in an effort to calm him down. She managed the two wrestlers, both individually, and as a team. And right now, part of her managerial duties were making sure they had the morale to go out there and perform.

Matthew wasn't in a blind rage or fury. His usual demeanor was quite relaxed. The Luchador was just a bit peeved at the moment. But it was nothing he'd lose any sleep over. "You shouldn't be telling me that, Mina! She picked a terrible tag team name! 'Heart and Passion?! In a league like AFW?! I can get past your urge to make silly and bad puns, but do you have any idea how that makes us look in this context, cat-lady!?"

"Nyah~! It's no so bad! I like the name! Besides, you agreed to come out here and tag with me. You should blame yourself for not thinking to call dibs on the name!" Katherine placed her hands on Matthew's shoulders before addressing the more critical matter at hand. "Now do you wanna argue over team names or do you wanna go out there and and start off our tag career on the right foot by giving the crowd a show and a victory they'll remember?"

Matt let out a sigh before shrugging his shoulders and walking towards the entrance. In the grander scheme of things, the name was probably a trivial matter. They had more important things to concern themselves with. They had their debut match!

As their theme song began to play, the team emerged at the top of the entrance ramp. Matthew waved to the audience in the arena while Katherine bounced around excitedly. The two spent a moment there before heading down the ramp and towards the ring. "Heheh, ok, I am digging the theme song. It almost makes up for the name." The Mexican native commented as the approached the ring. Kat simply looked at him and smiled in response.



The two masked wrestlers took their place in their corner of the ring. Miss Hart began to stretch whilst Matthew leaned against the ropes with his arms crossed. He thought out loud for a moment. "Our manager, Mina, said our opponents were siblings. They're teamwork is probably excellente. We should be careful. I'll start us off."

In the backstage, the sisters readied themselves for their debut match up.
"Ready for our debut big sister? And it's our favourite match up. A tag team one." Grace happily psyched herself up as she did the last of her warm ups. "A chance to trounce double the amount.
"Grace settle down. I swear, you always never think."
"With you around I don't have too."
Aine sighed as she put on her outfit.
Unlike her sister, Aine was taking her opponents seriously.The elder of the two walked out of the changing room first with her eager sister behind her.
"By the way, did you hear what our opponents were calling themselves? Heart and Passion! Seriously, how lame is that?"
Even Aine had to laugh at that. Though she was able to calm herself as they made their way out towards the ring. The moment they stepped through the spotlight, the crowd cheered for them. Though Aine acknowledged them gently, Grace was clearly basking in the spotlight.
Making their way down towards the ring, the two sisters climbed into the ring.
"I'll go first sis." Aine said to her sister as she stepped into the ring with her sister waiting in the corner. Walking up towards her opponent, Aine offered her hand towards him. "I heard it's your debut as well? Well no hard feelings after we beat you okay?" She cheerfully but silently taunted him in good measure.

As Matt readied himself to face their opponents, Katherine would bounce a bit on the apron whilst in her corner. "Alright, we'll stick with the plan, but I can't wait to get in there!" She said in an excited tone.

The Luchador observed as one of the sisters approached him, specifically. He stood up straight and took a couple steps towards her to meet her near the center of the ring. Matt shook Aine's hand and bore a smile on his face. As she made her remarks. "Thanks for the welcome. No hard feelings, indeed, but I didn't come all this way to lose to you girls." He retorted. After pulling his hand back, the bell would ring and he'd put his arms up and take stance to show he was ready to grapple. The man would circle the ring, waiting to see what Aine would do.

"Show me what you got. Let's see if you're wet behind the ears like any of the other debuting rookies out there."

"You know your not much different from them right?" Aine replied as she accepted his challenge. Taking her stance for grappling, the woman would try and reach forth and grab onto his hand. If she was able to do so, she would pull him in for a headbutt. Though a headbutt was usually a dirty move, it wasn't illegal.
"Kick his ass sis!" Grace called out from the corner. The girl was like Katherine eager for their debut. The younger of the two however was not below playing a little dirty if need be. For now she was confident her sister would beat her opponent without needing such thing.

Matt chuckled when Aine retorted with a claim that wasn't too different from other rookies. The irony in that was thick enough to cut with a knife. The man was new to AFW, but he had been wrestling for years. He didn't see a need to correct his opponent, though. Everything he and his partner came to prove would be done so in that ring, not with words. And keeping with that attitude, the masked duo weren't bothered by Grace's words.

As the match got underway, Aine would grab hold of Matt's hand and pull him in for a Headbutt! The man would grab hold of her wrist as she pulled him in and struck him! Matt would hold his face in recoil and sink to one knee. Headbutts certainly weren't illegal. To Heart and Pasison, the move wasn't even frowned upon. It was just surprising to see a delicate looking girl use such a rough move.

Despite that tactic, Matt wouldn't let himself be bested so easily. After taking the Headbutt and falling to one knee, he'd keep his grip on Aine's wrist and rise to a standing position whilst pulling on it and brining her closer. The Luchador would attempt to bring the girl down with a harsh Lariat!

To Aine's surprise, Matt didn't get knocked down, but she was going to ready that. As he sunk to one knee, she pulled her head back for another shot, however he reacted first, and to her surprise this time he was the one who pulled her closer and gave her a lariat knocking her to the ground.
The girl hit the ground hard but she wasn't out yet, she rolled to the side and got back up once more. Ready to start the fight again. This time she ran forth and tried to grab hold of his arm and swing him towards the turnbuckle where his partner was.

The Luchador was quick to answer Aine's headbutt with a quick but effective Lariat. He showed no fear in trading blows with Aine. But the young woman didn't allow herself to be stunned and left vulnerable. She got up at nearly the same speed that she fell down and opted to approach the man and take the initiative, yet again. Matt didn't show much resistance when the white-haired girl ran at him to attempt another, move. It was part of their tag team's strategy. Matt was a rather durable fighter, and was good for scouting the other team and seeing what they were capable of.

The older Taylin sister would begin to swing him in a similar maneuver to an Irish Whip to send him careening towards his team's corner. But the Mexican-native remained vigilant and sought to capitalize. It worked once before, so he tried it again, when Aine grabbed his arm, he'd grab hold of her wrist yet again to try and counter the move and swing Aine into the corner, instead! If it worked, Aine would be sent into the corner, in between Matt and Kat - the last place you'd want to be against any tag team! If the counter was successful, Kat would reach over the rope to try and hook her arms under Aine's and apply a full Nelson to keep her in their corner!

Aine was surprised when Matt countered her move. She was the one who was swung into the corner instead. Before she cleared her head, Kat however reached over the ropes and pulled under her arms and trapped her in a full nelson. "Grrhh..." She growled as she struggled against the hold.
Meanwhile Grace called out from her corner and almost stepped in, but the referee saw her and quickly intercepted her entrance. Aine meanwhile thought quickly and tried to find a way to fight back.

Matt's counter seem to have paid off. Kat sealed the deal by trapping the girl in their corner with a Full Nelson and despite her struggling, the two masked wrestlers were able to isolate one of the Taylin sisters. The referee opting to pay more attention Grace than the other three certainly didn't help their team, but Kat and Matt hadn't done anything illegal, so neither of them felt a way about it.

To follow up on his move, Matthew run towards her and leap into the air to deliver a Running Dropkick aimed at her sternum! If this moved connected and kept her in their corner, the man would quickly pop up to his feet before chiding their opponent and tagging his partner. "I think earlier you implied that I was a rookie. I'd love to know if you still feel the same way, now."

"Matt! Double team! Let's go!" Kat said in a hurried tone as she hopped over the top rope. Despite the fact that the referee was occupied and wouldn't be counting for the time they'd be spending in the ring together, the two would attempt to keep their team maneuver short to avoid breaking any rules. Matthew would drop to one knee and face his corner. While he did that, Kat would quickly run a few behind him before running towards him and stepping off his back to jump at Aine in the corner and hit her with an assisted Stinger Splash!

Despite her best efforts, Aine wasn't able to break free of the hold in time, allowing Matt to deliver a running dropkick at her.
"Uffhh..." She grunted out in pain as Matt's kick connected with her. It took almost all she had to remain standing after Kat released her. She clutched onto her chest in pain the moment she was released. However even though she in pain, she wasn't out of the fight yet. She saw what her opponent was up to now. Seeing Kat run towards her with Matt dropping to a knee she knew what was coming. The moment Kat ran up towards her and leapt off his back, Aine quickly threw herself to the floor at the side. She was going to let Kat hit herself in the turnbuckle for her recklessness.
Grace having seen her sister still in the fight backed off quickly, and allowed the referee to return back to the fight.
