Make a Splash! Gabriel vs Ryuunosuke

Things Gabriel did not see coming: that. All of that. How could he? He would he have known that the man could have stood up and just taken the shining wizard so easily, and caught him in mid-air? Gabe elicited a yelp as he was grabbed and held up, all of his momentum absorbed by the much larger man in front of him. As if to prove that Ryuu had all of his momentum, he casually released Gabriel in the air and used that bulging bicep in a European uppercut! Before Gabriel knew it, he was on his back, staring at the lights, practically counting stars. He groaned for a moment, shifting, trying to move. He would be fine so long as he was able to get away from Ryuu.

He tried to roll over onto his stomach quickly, trying to shoot forward and get to the ropes again. He would have to rely on them a bit in order to get the upperhand, which would be fine. A piece of him wished he wasn't going up against the walking tank here for his first match, but every other part of him was glad for it. So long as he didn't end up a complete jobber by the end of it, it would go over well with the crowd, and he could just learn from his mistakes. There wasn't anything riding on it right now. He just had to try.

But he wanted to win. So he grabbed onto the ropes to try and pull himself up, turning -- and giving a small grin at Ryuu. "Man. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but…you're damn good at this! I'll be lucky if I win!" he remarked, trying to keep his distance for the moment. He would move to try and circle his opponent, hoping to get Ryuu to do the same thing. That way, when he had enough space, he would run for the ropes and move to jump up and bounce off in a quick lionsault, modifying it in mid-air into a flying bulldog!

The audience cheered with glee as Ryuu thrust his opponent into the air with glee, looking like some sort of figure skating duo for just a moment. But there was no kind of figure skating that ended with one partner getting his face bashed in with a beautifully chaotic sprawl onto the mat. Ryuu rolled his shoulders out as he looked down on Gabe, watching him intently to get a feel for how the man handled strong moves. He'd underestimated him with the headbutt, so he wasn't eager to get countered again while setting something up.

He'd stalk Gabriel slowly towards the ropes, waiting until the man was just about to stand before he striked. He seized the man's waist and flipped them about so they were chest to chest, and then promptly wrapped his arms tightly around the other wrestler's chest. He grunted loudly as he lifted Gabriel off his feet in a bearhug, retreating backwards towards the center of the ring so that there wasn't anything for him to grab onto.

"No hard feelings, right?" he parroted with a smirk as he crushed the smaller man against him. He felt like he could afford just a little bit of banter at this point.

Fuck. Right when Gabriel was about to start setting up his nice attack, Ryuu managed to grab him and haul him up into a tight bearhug! Gabriel let out a loud yelp, finding their chiseled frames grinding up against each other, making his eyes close in pain. He'd never been put in a hold like this. Sure he'd received bearhugs, but this was raw strength! It wasn't even like Gabriel had any leeway here, he was just stuck, unless he could figure out something to distract Ryuu enough to loosen his grip enough. He groaned for a moment, but then when Ryuu gave him a bit of banter finally, Gabe found himself opening his eyes and managing to grin at him.

"Against you? Never," he replied simply, before he bit his lip in pain. He winked for a moment, however, before he moved to try and curl up a bit into Ryuu's hold. He was aiming to get his face down and into the man's chest, his legs beginning to reach up and wrap around his torso. That way, he would be able to press up against the much stronger man, letting Ryuu tighten his hold if he wanted, before trying to rocket his head up and straight into Ryuu's already sensitive jaw. Gabriel already had plans for Ryuunosuke once this match was over -- this was too damn fun for him to leave things alone!

Ryuu 'hmmph'ed in response to what he assumed was an attempt to flirt with him. That sort of thing was better left outside of the ring, regardless of how interested or disinterested he was in the opponent. He was however quite confused when Gabriel seemed to be going along with the bearhug as it were comfortable, curling his head into Ryuu's chest and latching his legs onto the taller man's waist. It was the sort of thing that pressed them closer together, making it easier for Ryuu to tighten the hug and put more pressure onto his opponent.

He had no inkling whatsoever that Gabriel was doing it merely to put himself into a headbutt position. When the top of that hard head hit his jaw, he could swear there were literal stars racing across his vision. His grip went completely slack as Ryuu stumbled back several steps, eventually falling to one knee as he hung his head low and cradled his jaw in his hand.

Ok, maybe there was a little bit of a hard feeling left after that one.

Gabriel was a bit surprised by the "hmmph" -- he hadn't been flirting with him, not purposefully. No, he genuinely meant it as a comment that Ryuu was still an honorable wrestler, from what he could tell! Gabriel wasn't the type to flirt or use his sexuality in the ring (mainly because he didn't have the slightest inkling on how he would go about doing it), though he didn't even know that was why Ryuu was disinterested in the comment. No matter. He'd talk to his opponent about it after the match. For right now, he needed to focus on fighting him.

Luckily, the headbutt worked. He managed to extract himself from his opponent, releasing his legs at the same time so he could land on his knees and get up quicker. Sure, it resulted in a bit of pain on those knees, but it was worth it for the upper hand! He grinned at Ryuu, giving him a small, curt nod -- before he went for the shining wizard again. If at first you don't succeed, right? Something along those lines. But he didn't wait as long this time, so hopefully it would land. And if it did land, he would quickly try and go for a cover!

He could win this. He had to try. 'Cause if he didn't…well, that was the most disrespectful thing he could do to Ryuunosuke!

Though Ryuu could hear and feel Gabriel stomping across the mat towards him, he wasn't quite recovered enough to do much to stop him. He sunk his head lower and tried to cover up his head to prevent serious damage, and let whatever was coming happen. Gabriel's shining wizard was uninterrupted, aside from it hitting the top of his head rather than his face.

He still went down as planned, falling onto his side in a position easy enough for Gabe to flip into a cover pin. Both of Ryuu's eyes were shut tight in pain, not quite ready to face the bright overhead lights. He allowed (read: could do nothing about) Gabe to slip over and cover him, the ring rumbling slightly as the ref dropped to the mat to start a count. The sound of the first big 'ONE' rattled his nerves slightly, but he kept his wits about him, patiently waiting for the split-second following the 'TWO' to conserve strength before kicking out.

Ryuu heaved up and pushed the redhead off of himself, getting onto hands and knees while his forehead was still touching the mat. Fuck his jaw really hurt right now, but he had to fight through the pain, prevent it from becoming rage so he could keep a level head. Rage was what lured him into falling for Army's taunts and making mistakes, something he wasn't keen on repeating. The 'silent soldier' grunted once more as he hauled up onto his feet, raising his head high with that solemn expression to be met with the crowd's roar of approval.

Gabriel knew that he hadn't secured the match yet, so when the first count came and Ryuunosuke hadn't moved, beneath him, he wondered if perhaps he had hurt the guy a bit too hard. He grunted, trying to keep the pin going -- he would worry about that if it was an issue after a third count! But Ryuu came back to life after the second count, pushing Gabe off of him. He grunted as he got pushed back onto the mat, laying there for a moment, looking like he had just seen his own personal idol or something. "Damn, you're good!" he managed to utter, grinning like a fool up at the ceiling as Ryuu slowly got back to his feet.

The redhead rolled away a bit more before starting to get back up, that dumb grin still plastered across his face. "Your jaw okay there?" he asked, seeming a bit concerned. "Sorry 'bout that, man. That bearhug was brutal!" Taking time to compliment his opponent in the middle of a match? Gabriel was a dumbass, that much was clear, but he had a heart of gold. "It was the only way I could figure how to get out. Otherwise, you'd have won the match there, and I didn't wanna give up that easy on you!"

The crowd was on its feet now, roaring as the two fighters stood tall despite the big moves that had already taken place. They were a match made in heaven, each of them drawing out the other's weaknesses with their strengths. Gabriel grinned at him -- and charged. But it wasn't aimed for Ryuunosuke. Instead, he charged for the ropes behind him, jumping up at the last second and moving to try and bounce off of them and go for another lionsault! He needed to tire Ryuu out a bit more before he went for a finisher.

Ryuu did not seem to be amused nor particularly moved by the redhead's comments, the biggest reaction out of him was a slight pursing of his lips. The only thing he really wanted to say right now was 'fuck you', though his opponent didn't truly deserve it for all his good sportsmanship. Instead, Ryuu simply cleared his throat and nodded his head to acknowledge his comments.

Ryuu cracked his knuckles as he started circling Gabriel, slowing his breathing back to a comfortable, regulated level. His opponent was the first one to make a move, dashing at him quickly and forcing Ryuu on the defensive. He brought his guard up, prepared for a strike or perhaps a lariat or clothesline attempt, but found he would rather pass him by.

Ryuu spun around to find the redhead bouncing on the ropes, flinging himself up and backwards into the air. Ryuu acted quickly, turning his torso nearly perpendicular to the floor as he spread his arms up and down. He managed to catch Gabriel mid-air with a groan of effort, his arms between the legs and under his neck and tucked into his back. He turned Gabriel horizontal as he stepped back towards the center of the ring again, maybe just slightly showing off since he he gave the impression that it was effortless.

He'd then plant his foot in the mat and start to spin around in place, moving faster and faster in circles as he tried to make Gabriel extremely dizzy.

After Ryuu cleared his throat, Gabriel reached up and scratched his head momentarily. "Ah…Sorry! I talk too much. Just…excited. I'll stop now!" He bowed his head momentarily, before he circled Ryuu, watching him bring his breathing back into a controlled state. He wanted to take a moment himself, so letting Ryuu have his moment worked well for both of them. When he rushed forward, he caught a glimpse of the defensive position that Ryuu went into, making Gabriel feel a bit smug -- but when he was suddenly plucked out of the air as if he were a fly, that smugness fell away rather quickly. '

If he was being honest, the fact that Ryuu was able to lift him up and show off a bit of his strength and hold him up seemingly effortlessly…well, it was a massive turn-on, something that the audience would be able to see if they were really looking. His cock was beginning to stiffen a bit in his tight trunks, making him wish he hadn't worn something quite so tight. But that wasn't the problem here -- the problem was that he was being lifted up and held above the mat at over six feet, perhaps seven, and there was nothing he could do about it without risking massive injury.

So when Ryuu began to spin in place, Gabriel found himself incredibly dizzy, incredibly fast. However, he just closed his eyes and grit his teeth, expecting the worse and steeling himself for the follow-up. He needed an upper hand, but he wasn't going to get that until after this move of Ryuu's actually fell into place.

Ryuu continued to spin and spin until he saw the look on Gabriel's face, like he was just barely holding on for his life. He started to smirk just a bit and slowed down to just a standstill, standing there holding his opponent much like a trophy. He would then raise the man even higher over his head, just to show that he could. It earned a roar of approval from the crowd, and probably a scolding from Mitsuru later for showboating, but he couldn't help himself.

He'd then lower Gabe carefully back onto his shoulder's in the fireman's carry position. From there he would twist one direction and then quickly switch back, throwing Gabe's legs out and dropping to to the mat while still holding onto his head for a high-power, high-impact fireman's carry cutter!
