Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
Suzumi was livid. The bubbly woman was normally as cheerful as can be, but she was storming her way down to the ring clad in her wrestling attire. She was a woman on a mission. She made her way down the ramp as her music played not even acknowledging the crowd. That was a big indicator that something was up.
Suzumi got into the ring, with a face that said she was all business tonight. As she picked up a mic, her words echoed that sentiment. "You know... Mikoto and I are like sisters. We may not always get along, and sometimes we get into fights but at the end of the day I love her to death." Suzumi said, with a stone face expression etched across her normally smiling visage. "After a tough match, and a tough loss I was heading backstage to chat with someone and do an interview."
As Suzumi paused the crowd also grew even more silent. Most of them were familiar with the sneak attack and beating Suzumi took at the hands of Samiya and a steel chair that caught Suzumi unaware. "Samiya, or whatever your name is.... get your fat little ass out here! NOW!"

Re: Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
At first, Suzumi’s challenge was met with silence, the former Wrestle Angel’s words left to fall into oblivion without answer.
But, after a moment had passed, the first chords of Rise cut through the hum of the fans’ conversation. And it carried on. And on. The fans, prepared to boo, did so but their confusion was clear.
At least, at first. After a moment, as someone backstage made the decision to cut the music, the boos started to strengthen again. Particularly from the section right behind the ring.
If the sudden change in the sounds of the crowd didn’t alert Suzumi, the sharp mocking applause that rang out from behind her would certainly do the job.
Samiya Kusanagi sat, bold as brass, on the barrier separating the crowd from the ring with a catlike smile playing over her dark lips. Unlike Suzumi, she wasn’t dressed to wrestle, her outfit of a tank top and jeans making it obvious how she’d got so close. No long coat tonight, giving the lucky fans she’d chosen to sit near an excellent look at the tattoos adorning her arm.
”Speak of the Devil,” Samiya spread her arms wide to a chorus of boos that only had her grin widen, ”And here I am.”
The Schoolgirl Assassin paused, raising her eyebrows in feigned confusion.
”Though don’t you have somewhere else to be? Some D-list drama to star in, maybe?”
She lowered her mic, staring up at Suzumi as she waited to see what the other woman had to say. Or if they were going to skip the words and head straight to the violence.

Re: Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
Suzumi glared at this woman and brought her mic up to her lips. "I don't act anymore. I was cleared to wrestle again so here I am. What the HELL is your problem with me anyway you stupid sneaky bitch?" Suzumi asked, lowering her mic ad crossing her arms, waiting for an answer.
Suzumi wasn't sure if this woman was going to charge directly into the ring or not but she did prepare herself for that possibility, and if she did move up Suzumi would respond in kind, inching closer and closer to the ropes. If this lady thought she could get the jump on Suzumi again, she was sorely mistaken. the anger and rage simmering in Suzumi was hidden behind a thin veil of inquisition as to why this lady did what she did.

Re: Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
Though she let Suzumi talk, those close enough to Samiya got to see the purple-haired fighter roll her eyes and hear her scoff derisively as Suzumi protested that she’d been cleared to compete again. That she didn’t act anymore.
But the younger wrestler let the veteran say her piece, let that question sink in before she brought her microphone up to reply.
”You say that,” Samiya slipped off the barrier, standing right in front of Suzumi now, ”But it seems to me you’re just doing a really bad job of acting like a wrestler.”
She lowered the mic for a second, staring up at the other woman, before bringing it back to her lips.
”You want to know what my problem is? I already told you. You’re a pathetic has-been embarrassment to this promotion, who should have known better than to come back in the first place. You failed at being an actress, you’re failing at being a wrestler and these fans-“ Samiya waved at the stands, ”-Deserve better. So, either you retire or I’ll retire you. Simple as that.”
She grinned, wide and nastily.
”Got it this time or do I need to beat it into your empty skull again?”

Re: Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
Suzumi's face twisted into a rage filled scowl. This woman was making a lot of nasty statements about Suzumi, and she didn't even really know Suzumi. A lot of what she said did play on Suzumi's own worries about her comeback, but she had been more confident than ever about her choice to wrestle again.
"Get in here and give it a try, I dare you." Suzumi said with a hiss, dropping her mic and clearly getting ready to face off against the woman who attacked her backstage! She wanted nothing more than to lock in a Tsunami Sleeper on her and not let go until this woman was as unconscious was Suzumi was after the backstage attack.

Re: Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
This was almost too easy. Of course, a sneak attack did tend to have that effect and Samiya was going to quite some trouble to slam every button of Suzumi’s she could find. There was a good reason for that, rather than just the sadism it might have appeared, but it was no surprise that Suzumi was practically spitting fire at her.
Promising, definitely promising, but also definitely not enough.
For a moment, it looked like Samiya was going to accept the challenge. She pulled herself up to the ropes, almost as if she was ready to step into the ring and square off. The crowd certainly approved, almost cheering for the two women as it seemed like they were going to get an impromptu match there and then.
But then they were destined to be disappointed.
”No,” Samiya stopped, raising her hands with a grin, ”I wouldn’t want you to claim you weren’t ready. Let’s do this properly. Like wrestlers.”
Samiya cackled, hopping back down to the floor.
”Not that you’d know about that, of course. But I don’t want there to be any doubt. So we’ll do this another time. In a ring. With a referee. Then there’ll be absolutely no doubt that you’re a washed-up has-been husk of a never-was wrestler.”
She backed up, still grinning as she slipped back over the barrier into the crowd.
”Then there won’t be any trying. Just you tapping. Ciao, loser.”

Re: Calling All Cheapshots (for Liesmith)
"You are like, the biggest coward in Friction and that is saying something." Suzumi said as Samiya backed out of the ring the the displeasure of the crowd. Suzumi was ready to go here and now. Samiya was fooling herself if she thought that Suzumi wasn't ready to take her down.
Samiya took her parting shots and began to leave, Suzumi staying in the center of the ring without Samiya there to pound on. "Girl, you will get wrecked and after I get hold of your fat ass you will be the one tapping after having set foot in the ring with a real wrestler for the first time." Suzumi shouted, glaring at Samiya as she left. The crowd cheered Suzumi's words and she took in a few more cheers from the fans before she herself made her way up to the top, barely able to hide her fuming anger.
