Minerva Larson vs. Blossom Fields - Of Human Bondage

Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, submission, or knockout.
Victory Stipulations: If Minerva wins, Blossom becomes her servant for an unspecified amount of time. If Blossom wins, Minerva has to provide pedicures for Blossom and Death Bunny for a full year.

”And then she sat on my face! Again! Until I passed out!”

Yoko Yajiri, Friction’s backstage manager, stood across from Blossom in the guerilla position, listening to her speak, patiently waiting to get a word in edgewise. It had been a while since she’d approached Blossom about the match she’d requested, the one that she was about to go into, the one that would put her on the beck and call of an extremely dangerous woman. She kind of regretted it now, because just bringing it up had launched Blossom in a rant, which was only now starting to die.

”I understand that you’re mad, Blossom.” Yoko adjusted her thick glasses, trying to create some air of authority. Authority she rarely had a chance to exercise. ”I’m just seeing this as the best solution.”

Blossom folded her arms, clearly not convinced of Yoko’s logic. ”And what would you suggest?”

”Anything but putting your life on the line against one of the top ranked wrestlers in the league.”

Putting it like that caused Blossom to soften for a moment, but she was quick to harden up again. She was steady in her resolve. This was happening. ”Look, I know how to deal with bullies, okay? You have to stand up to them, or they’ll push you around forever.” Blossom shook her head. ”I’ve got to put a stop to this. If not now, when?”

Yoko opened her mouth to reply, when Blossom’s music came blasting out. No turning back now, better or worse.

Blossom huffed, puffed, then turned away from Yoko and started heading through the curtain. ”I’m up.” She gave Yoko a thumbs up. ”Wish me luck.”

”Good luck.” Yoko took her glasses off and rubbed her nose. She had more to say, but she waited until Blossom was out of earshot. ”You’ll need it.”

Blossom emerged from the curtain a second later, and promptly made her way down to the ring. She waved a little, shook a couple of hands, but nowhere near as much as she usual. Today, she was all about business, a fact that became clear and pain when she slid in under the bottom rope and immediately turned to face the ramp, backing all the way to the center of the ring.

She leaned from side to side, barely able to contain herself. Any second now...

A few seconds of silence passed after Blossom’s music faded out before another song began to play over the speakers, announcing Minerva’s arrival. The raven-haired beauty emerged through the curtain wearing an elegant, black fur coat on top of her usual violet ring gear.

While Blossom rocked back and forth, anxious to get tonight’s bout started, Minerva appeared to be quite a contrast. The little grin she wore showed how confident she was, yet also seemed rather casual. The same applied to her posture as she strode down the aisle. There was no sense of urgency in her steps, nor was there the slightest hint that she was even remotely worried about tonight’s match. Yes, the rather odd stipulation she would face if she lost was something she’d loathe with every fiber of her being. But clearly, Minerva didn’t believe that outcome to be a remote possibility. She was here to tame a new pet and take it home, and that’s all there was to it.

She ascended the steps and climbed through the ropes to enter the ring, only then shedding her coat off and moving to hand it to one of the stagehands at ringside. Once that was out of the way, she moved to stand toe to toe with Blossom in the center of the ring, towering over and staring right down at the smaller girl.

“Bow down and surrender now, and I might make this all a tad easier on you.” It was the only offering of mercy Blossom would be getting tonight, even though Minerva knew the chances of her soon-to-be servant accepting it were slim to none.

This was it. This was the moment. As Blossom’s music faded away and Minvera’s began, the pint-sized wrestlerette started taking deep, rapid breaths, getting her heart pumping and psyching herself up. She knew she’d need every ounce of energy she could muster...for…

...was that the Game of Thrones’ theme?

Blossom blinked and perked up, making sure her ears were deceiving her. Sure enough, that was the theme - or, well, a rock version of it. But she watched the show enough to know it just about anywhere.

Kind of figured that Minerva would be a fan, really. Heck, quite a few of the characters reminded Blossom of her, and not in good ways.

She cast those funny little thoughts aside and started up as Minerva made her way into the ring, looking down on her like an ant in desperate need of squishing. Blossom kept her ground and looked up. She’d faced bigger before. Granted, she’d never faced bigger and won, but today was a new day.

She didn’t answer Minerva’s question - not verbally. Instead, she just lowered into her stance and raised her arms, her gaze staying locked with the Dane’s the entire time. Never wavering. Barely blinking.

Well this was cute. Minerva hadn’t expected Blossom to give up before the fight even began, but seeing the girl respond to her by dropping into her fighting stance almost elicited a laugh from the Dane. She held that back, but didn’t stop her wide grin from stretching out just a bit further.

“Very well then. Suit yourself.”

Right then the bell rang, and Minerva didn’t waste a second. Right away she fired her right knee forward, aiming to blast it right into Blossom’s stomach and knock some wind out of her sails.

Blossom wasn’t exactly sure what to expect from Minerva when it came to a real match. She knew the Dane was aggressive - anyone who’d spent five minutes with her could likely suss that out - and she certainly had the strength to back it up, but she also seemed to have a canny instinct you didn’t normal put with women her size. There was some brain behind the brawn.

However, the brawn was what Blossom got right out of the gate, and her opponent came hard and fast with it. In a flash, she had closed the distance and started things off hard, hitting her with an explosive knee to the stomach, one that lifted Blossom’s feet off the floor and nearly bent her in half.

Nearly.

While it did hurt, it was also the opening salvo, and Blossom was tougher than people gave her credit for. So, while it did knock the wind out of her and leave her gasping, she wasn’t too distressed to counterattack. And counterattack she did.

Before she could stumble too far away, Blossom reached out with both arms, trying to pull her in tight. If she could get that much done, the next step was simple: she’d jerk back and release, hoping to send Minerva flying with the belly-to-belly suplex.

Minerva’s knee smashed right into Blossom’s stomach with such an intense impact that she almost felt that might’ve been enough to end the match then and there. Blossom would collapse and start heaving for breath, and Minerva could fairly easily hold her down for a three count if she wanted…except, that’s not quite what happened.

Firstly, Minerva was not so merciful as to end a beating so swiftly. She wanted to take her time savoring every sweet moment. But also, Blossom didn’t go down. A pair of arms slung themselves around Minerva’s waist. Initially thinking it was just a desperate attempt for Blossom to stay on her feet, the Dane giggled in amusement. She was about to throw some taunting words at Blossom over it, but suddenly she felt her feet leave the ground, and her eyes went wide in surprise as her body flew through the air.

“Ugh!” she cried out at the sudden impact of her back against the mat. In addition to the pain, her head was rattled both by the crash landing and the surprise of it all. There was clear confusion in her eyes and face as she started to sit up.

“What….” she muttered, not even finding the words to finish her own rhetorical question.

”Woo!”

Blossom indulged in a little yelp of joy when she sent Minerva flying with the belly-to-belly. Standard, but effective, and she managed to get some good distance on the toss. A good start. She just had to roll with it.

Quick as a whip, she spun about just as Minerva was sitting up, giving her a rare opportunity take the Dane from behind. She came in low, dropped to one knee, and wrapped an arm around her head from behind, powering down on it to try and keep her foe in control.

Before Minerva had fully even grasped what had just happened, Blossom was already on her. An arm was slung around her head, and the Dane grit her teeth and grunted while pulling at the limb in an attempt to loosen it a bit.

“Ngh… You’re going to regret that…you little twerp!” she growled. Wanting to get back up as soon as possible, Minerva attempted to bring a foot under her so she could push herself onto a knee, then back toward a vertical base.

Getting Minerva down and keeping Minerva down were two vastly different things, a little fact that was becoming quite apparent to Blossom. Her hold on Minerva was technically strong, but her opponent had the size and power to rise out of it with ease, and the height to make it all work. It wasn't a matter of if she’d get free and make Blossom pay, but when.

Knowing that, Blossom was quick to switch things up on her for, before things turned in a nasty direction she wasn't prepared for. She let go off the headlock, only to reach lower and exchange it for a waistlock instead, pulling herself close and tight. A good way to keep Minerva anchored and facing away from her, where she could do the least damage. In theory.

It was also a good way for her to setup for a strong German Suplex, and that was what she got into position for, hammering her feet down hard and preparing for the massive lift. ”And here... we…”

Fortunately for Minerva, she wasn’t stuck in that annoying headlock for very long. But in exchange, she was put in a much more dangerous position, and he eyes went wide when she felt Blossom’s arms slip around her waist. It wasn’t quite panic. But having already been suplexed by the much smaller girl once, she now understood such a feat was indeed possible for her.

Hoping to prevent that from becoming a reality, Minerva stomped her feet down and tried to anchor herself down firmly as possible, turning her body into dead weight while pushing against Blossom’s wrists. If all went as she hoped, Blossom would suddenly find herself at something of a dead end and have to try another route. But if it didn’t...well, that certainly wouldn’t bode well for the Danish royalty.
