Clyde Gastin Vs. Kozue Kaburagi

"Heavy Is The Head" began to play throughout the arena and the former Tension Champion Clyde Gastin emerged onto the entrance ramp to a roar of thousands of fans who were eager to see the cowboy yet again, who stepped out, wearing long black wrestling tights with matching pads on his elbows and knees, as well as matching wrestling boots, in addition of course to a sleeveless denim jacket and his leather cowboy hat.

The cowboy was still a bit sore from the screwy loss he suffered against Ami and the injury that came with it, but work was work and he was still here to preform. He raised his fists to the crowd that greeted him with great applause, making his way down the ramp where he'd high five fans before sliding inside the ring and climbing the top turnbuckle, shooting a pair of finger guns to the audience before bending his knees and flipping off of the turnbuckle to land on his feet, making his way to the opposite corner before he slumped against it, waiting for the arrival of his opponent tonight.

”Black dog, drinks from the water, trying to cool his tongue…”

Kozue Kaburagi sang along with Clyde’s theme as he came out to the masses, utterly butchering it with accent, yet still sounding better than most of the crowd. She put the final touches on her outfit, wrapping up her legs and looking up at the screen. There he was, making his entrance. Clyde Gastin. Former champion, two times. Tension's mascot, practically.

He’d gone through some hard times lately, and she couldn’t help but feel a little bad for him. Taking on the Takeuchis without backup wasn’t exactly the thing she would’ve done, but maybe it was a cowboy sort of thing. Honor, facing anybody who stepped up. She could respect that. And, really, she liked Clyde. From the few times they’d met, they got along well enough.

None of that was going to stop her from kicking his skull in, though.

The lights went off and her music began to play, the Flashman theme echoing throughout the stands as the crowd cheered. The cheers only got louder when the lights went up - there she was, standing with her back to the audience, giving them a perfect view.

She bounced to the music and spun about on her heel, waving to the audience, getting them to jump along with her. After taking a moment to get properly hyped, Kozue broke into a run and dashed down the ramp, moving fast until she slid into the ring, bringing enough momentum to carry her slim body all the way to the middle of the ring.

She rose to a single knee and turned Clyde’s way, smiling at him through the hair all over her face. ”Cowboy.” Kozue threw a wink his way and stood up, clearing the strands away and keeping her gaze on him. ”Ready for me?”

Clyde blinked as he heard video game style music play for his opponent. He knew it was from somewhere but he didn't remember where but he found himself smiling when he saw his opponent appear, the lovely fan favorite ninja from the U.S. of A. With an 'A' to die for.

He was a little giddy the moment he saw he was going to fight Ninjette of all people. Excited actually. He grinned the moment he saw her, having a lot of respect for Ninjette turning down Melissa's offer and helping him and Johnny take on King's Krew at the time. She was a good person and a talented fighter he was eager to test himself against!

He didn't need to tell her he watched Her and Belle go at it on a recorded episode of Tension, however. The cowboy wasted no time watching that slim waist and ample hips bounce to the song that played while seeing that the crowd truly liked her. It was a battle of two fan favorites and the people were hyped.

He stayed firm as she impressively slid in the ring and instantly he had something witty ready to saw but when Kozue stood up with the strands of hair along her face and greeted him with a quite nice sounding 'cowboy' before winking at him and clearing the strands from her face, the cowboy she was talking to honestly found himself a little tongue tied.

"Uh..." Clyde swallowed and scrunched up his nose before grinning and staring at his boots before looking back at Ninjette. "Well, I was at first..." He muttered with a bit of a shameless shrug before he got his hands up.

"Gimme yer best shot." He said confidently before the bell rang and Clyde moved in for a lockup.

Kozue just smirked and had a little chuckle as she rose up, seeing the rather obvious effect she was having on Clyde. She didn’t bother looking down, but she was willing to bet there was another telltale sign coming from his lower half, too.

”Clyde, homeboy, you’ve been wrestling chicks like me for over five years, now.” She shook her head and wagged a finger his way. ”Come on, man. It’s not the first time you’ve seen a nice ass.”

With that little taunt out of the way - she couldn’t resist - Kozue accepted the lockup. Or appeared to.

She got her hands up, locking like she was about to accept it, but instead she ducked down at the last moment and moved to his side. Kozue spun about and fell on her back behind Clyde, but she reached through his legs in the same moment and tried to pull him over and down, looking to drop him on his back and score a quick schoolboy pin!

"It's been five years?" Clyde asked honestly and curiously, honestly having lost track of his life a little because things moved so fast. He shrugged it off and looked to Ninjette with a smirk.

"Well, no... But I can tell it's yours without seein' yer name on it." Clyde muttered as he flashed a sly grin at Ninjette before going for the lockup and...

"Oop!" She docked and Clyde stumbled a bit as he thought he was going to clamp on Ninjette's shoulders but got nothing for it. Instead being swiftly pulled down with his shoulders to mat in a surprise schoolboy pin!

"Ah!" He gasped before quickly kicking his legs up as the ref counted One. If Ninjette didn't beat him to the punch, Clyde would try to bring his arm back and tag Ninjette with a swift knife edge chop across her breast bone, the sternum. Totally not chopping her breasts, like quite a few seemed to think he did.

Kozue Kaburagi did not honestly think she was going to pin Clyde Gastin, a former TWC, a veteran in the league and probably the longest competing male wrestler in AFW history, with a fluke pin before the match was only one minute old. It was a test more than anything, just a way to see what he could and couldn’t handle.

He passed. Now it was her turn.

Kozue had just gotten back up when Clyde laid into her with a precise, cracking blow to her chest, landing right on her bone, striking like a thick whip. Kozue cried out and spun around, grunting like a madwoman as the pain spread throughout her chest.

That took a second. In the next second, she spun around and whipped her arm out, hitting him with a spinning backfist to the face.

Striking Kozue across the chest, Clyde wiggled his hand to work out the numb, burning pain on his palm that came from the whip like strike across her skin that made the crowd wince once the blow connected.

Clyde immediately paced after Kozue, trying grab her arm and turn her towards him so he could continue his offense. But Ninjette proved to be very tough as she retaliated with a sudden spinning backfist that caught Clyde right across the mouth!

"Auuugh!" Clyde groaned as he was struck, head turning to the side as spit flew, feeling Ninjette's knuckles bounce off his jaw, making the cowboy stagger back with his clinched fists at his sides, stunned.

Good backfist, if Kozue could toot her own horn. Lot of speed behind, decent power, and she managed to stun him with the blow. Maybe she’d hit him a little too much, really, because…

”Shit!” Kozue cursed, shaking her hand as the impact left the whole thing numb. Clyde’s drank his milk as a child, had a solid jaw, and it felt like she was striking a rock. A painful reminder that she was dealing with the closest thing Tension had to a final boss. This was no ordinary little match.

”Right, then.”

Kozue jumped back, then ran forward, closing in on Clyde as he moved away. She shot her arm out, looking like she was going for a simple clothesline. Instead, she caught him by the neck, swung around his shoulders to the other side, then dropped flat on her butt, looking to use her momentum to drive him hard into the mat, going for the sling blade.

Clyde shook his head and rubbed his jaw like he had to put it back into place. That blow hurt, a lot. But as Kozue rushed in, the veteran cowboy narrowed his eyes and stepped foward with his arm out, tangling with Ninjette as he tried to use his bigger size and greater strength to partially catch Kozue in mid air before dropping to one knee, planting Kozue's slim back right on top of Clyde's knee for a swift, backbreaker!

If it connected, Clyde would let Kozue roll off his knee immediately and stand over his pained opponent. Provided he could pull this off.

And now came the part of the match that Kozue always hated the most. The moment where she went for something big, she wound up getting caught, and then she had that lovely freezing second where she realized she was utterly fucked and the next few moments were going to be so painful.

That was happening to her, right then, as Clyde stopped her move, lifted her up, and…

”Gah!”

Kozue made a squeak of a cry as her back slammed into  Clyde’s knee, cracking dead on the spine. She groaned and rolled away from him, trying to flop out of the ring to the floor. It wouldn't buy her much time, but she’d take all that she could get.
