No DQ match: Ivan Komorov vs. Henry Clayton

Ivan kicked and to his surprise Henry wasn't effected at all. Looks like that he'll really need to step up with his game and actually start treating him as equal opponent. Ivan began preparing himself for another kick, but Cronos was faster this time. Russian's eyes widened after seeing opponents head approaching him and eventualy hit his head.

Ivan released his opponent and stumbled backward, rubbed his head and glared to his opponent. Ivan turned around and run toward the ropes to bounce from them again. Moving back toward Henry, Ivan lunged toward him and tried to him with a spear.

Cronos was able to use his head as a counter for Ivan and was effective enough to make the Russian let go. Shaking his head a bit, Cronos was ready to keep the attack going on Ivan.

Ivan ran back into the ropes and Cronos followed thinking Ivan was just trying to get away. Though that wasn't true when Ivan came back and went low for a spear. Cronos wasn't really built for sudden changes in velocity and couldn't move out of the way so he was caught by Ivan and crashed back first into the mat. The force was enough to give the ring, a bit of a shake as Cronos hit the mat.

It took few attempts, but Ivan finally managed to knock Cronos down on the mat. Match was far from being over though and Ivan was aware of that. Trying to capitalize the situtaion, Ivan tried to sit up on Henry's chest. That would definitely give him more opportunities to continue the match.

Ivan would reach toward opponent's head with one hand and made a fist with other one. He was going for some punches, but that's not everything he had in story. Since this was no DQ match, they had bit more freedom and even though its cheap dirty shot Ivan will use it to his advantage. Ivan placed one hand on Henry's face and tried to stick thumb into one of his eyes, while trying to land a punch or two with other one.

Cronos sat on his back after that spear, but was far from down. He would have gotten up to a seated position, but Ivan kept the pressure on by sitting on his chest and grabbing his face. Instinct was enough for Cronos to want to remove Ivan's hand, but he wasn't just pushing his head down.

He was intentionally trying to get his thumb into his eye and Cronos resisted by grabbing Ivan's wrist and trying to control his hand. The ref would stop Ivan from digging his eye out, but a quick strike something might fly under the radar. Still he didn't like the idea of losing his eyesight so early into the match. So for now he focused on Ivan's hand and tried to throw the Russian off with his other hand.

Ivan was looking for a way to make this fight bit less equal. Poking an eye was one option, but unfortunately it didn't work out. He was stopped from diging his thumb into Henry's eye, but he at least cause bit of confusion down on the mat. This gave him opportunity for punch and he managed to land one right on the opponent's face.

Ivan didn't like the referee interfering in fight, so he switched the attention toward him for few seconds and push him away. Meanwhile Cronos tried to push him off, but this wasn't easy task either. While it's true that Ivan isn't as heavy as him, he's still pretty big guy and it will take more effort to get rid of him. Focusing back on Henry's face now, Ivan tried to land few more punches on him.

Henry tried to keep Ivan's finger away from his eye and it worked pretty well until Ivan threw a punch. For now he had to stay on the defensive until an opening was made. Using his hands and arms to cover himself, an opening was made when Ivan decided to get rid of the ref.

So taking this chance, Henry threw a punch at Ivan's open stomach before trying to roll to one side and push Ivan down with him before he could continue beating him.

Ivan lifted his arm to hit Henry's face for the second time. But he wasn't the only one, who planned to punch, since Cronos striked as well. Since Ivan was little distracted, Henry managed to land the hit right in the middle of his stomach. It was pretty hard hit, that knocked some air out of his lungs and this time his opponent didn't have too much problems of getting rid of Russian brute.

Ivan rolled away and got back onto his feet. He walked toward Cronos and waited that he stand up to grab the throat with one and wrist with his other hand. He'd start squeezing the throat as much as he can when guiding him toward the corner, where he'd try to slam his head on top of the turnbuckle.

Henry pushed Ivan off of him and rose to his feet. Though Ivan was ready for him and came at him once he was up on his feet. He grabbed his throat and wrist while pushing him back to the corner.

Henry fought back to slow him down, but the lack of oxygen wasn't giving him the strength he needed. Once in the corner, Ivan bashed Henry's head against the turnbuckle. Despite the pain he was feeling, Henry gathered his strength and threw a punch at Ivan's face with his free hand.

Ivan noticed opponents struggles while he was guiding him toward the corner and just grinned to his poor attempts of escaping. This was prime example of why you need to train your fingers together with rest of the body. You need the strength in your grip, so you can slow down everyone - including giants like Cronos.

But focused only on causing the pain, Russian brute completely neglected his own defense. He did manage to slam Henry's head on the turnbuckle once, but he quickly replied with punch of his own. It was pretty hard hit and Ivan let him go while stumbling backwards a little. Cronos is pretty tough opponent, so Ivan decided to get some back up. He rolled out of the ring, lift the apron and began searching for a steel chair.

Cronos had to get things going for him and after the few bouts with Ivan, he had the drive to fight. It wasn't common that he fought large opponents and this was a wake up call. Getting out of the corner, Cronos looked to see that Ivan was outside the ring and Ivan ran across the ring.

Running into the opposite ropes, Cronos ran at Ivan and did a baseball slide kick at Ivan's upper body. Though with Ivan so close to the ring, it was easy to reach Ivan despite him being stopped by the bottom rope as he slid.
