The Rose of Roses [For Acuya]

Fujiko's arrival at AFW had gone fairly well so far, though her knowledge of a few women from the old Rumble Roses were something that the Noble Rose just couldn't let be. The knowledge that Sista A of all people was currently running around with the Rose of Roses belt and claiming herself to be the champion, along with the woman's antics and tactics. It was enough to spur the ally of justice that resided within Fujiko Hinomoto.

She was back in her home country now, and she was a defender of truth and Justice, an ally of what was good and right, and it was without a doubt neither good nor right that Sista A of all people had made herself into some sort of self-proclaimed champion. Not to say that she wasn't worthy of the title, in terms of skill she could very well be good enough for it. Though...Noble Rose felt as if she had to make things right, between herself and the title. She felt she needed to give it a final shred of honor. As such she would walk down the ramp, heading down towards the ring with a microphone in hand. Dressed in her wrestling attire with a white cape over her shoulders.

The crowd was a buzz over the appearance of Fujiko as she was seldom the kind of woman who would step up and cut promos. Though soon she was in the ring, the crowd cheering for the woman. Once the crowd had died down a little bit the Noble Rose would begin to speak.

" I am sorry to say that I can no longer stand by and let this injustice happen." She let out, her voice never faltering, she had a firm and clear goal and purpose as such she stood stoic. " The injustice done to the Rose of Roses belt." Fujiko stopped as the crowd started to whisper and talk amongst themselves, the noise getting louder and louder before finally becoming a bit more quite, quite enough for Fujiko to speak again. " Sista A! I shall no longer stand by and let you reign as an undeserving champion! As an Ally of Justice, I contest your right to the belt and challenge you for the title of Rose of Roses! "

Oh, what the fuck was this now?

There Sista A was, hanging around in the back, watching the show in the cafeteria, enjoying a little salad while she texted with her publicist. She was at ease, a state of mind that was happening more and more frequently these days. Yes, Anesthesia had taken an unexpected leave from their little mission to dominate the AFW, but so what? It wasn’t like the naughty nurse got her pristine gloves dirty, anyway. Sista A was the muscle, but she was smart enough to be the brains, too.

She was just coming out of this pondering when she heard her name spoken. She hadn’t been paying much attention to the screen - someone was doing a promo, and while her voice sounded familiar, she didn’t care enough to really process what she was saying. But that all changed when the name came from her mouth. Sista A looked up at the screen, and her mouth immediately curled into the snidest sneer.

Fujiko Hinamoto. Noble Goddamn Rose was calling her out.

After only a couple of seconds of thought, Sista A grabbed her title from the chair beside her and started stomping towards the gorilla position. The salad could wait.

The audience didn’t have to stand idly by for long, since it only took a minute for Sista A to come out in her casual attire. If you could classify sandals, a knotted up grey t-shirt, and booty shorts as ‘casual’. She had a microphone in one hand and her title in the other, and after the crowd had finished booing, she brought the former to her mouth and spoke.

Calm. Clean. Collected. She spoke clear and soft.

”Hey. Fuji.” She canted her head to the side, a look of hatred and annoyance on her face. ”Go fuck yourself.”

That got the boos started up again, and Sista A relished in it. Truth told, she was inclined to give the purple-haired bitch exactly what she wanted, but not before she got her to squirm a little. These people would just have to deal with it.

”You want this title? My title? You show up out of the fucking ether and all of the sudden you want a title shot?” She held her belt up and shook the prize about it. ”I don’t give a fuck what your last name is, and I’ll give you three guesses where you can stick your justice. You come out here, playing superhero, dress in your silly little Halloween costume, and you think I’m just gonna bow down? Nuh-uh. Give me a reason.” She held up a finger. ”One good goddamn reason.”

Fujiko looked up at the ramp as the beautiful Sista A showed herself, with a microphone of course. Otherwise Fujiko would have expected the woman to just come out here to try and start a fight....though the Japanese veteran knew better than to think that Sista A would just come out here and accept the match and they would duke it out for real. No, she knew better than that.

The words that Sista A spoke wasn't exactly anything that Fujiko hadn't anticipated, though it seemed as if Sista A more than ever just relished in the hate that the crowd was throwing towards her for her attitude. The Violet haired woman would place one hand on her hip as she'd listen on to Sista A's words...

Waiting until the beauty was finished before she'd raise the microphone up towards her lips. " I'll give you two." She spoke out in a calm manner, her gaze fixed and strong as she stared right at Sista A, never leaving the sight of the woman.

" Firstly, the title does not belong to you. You didn't not gain it in a proper way and I'm offering you a chance to prove you are worthy of it, or fail. Secondly....if you run away now you forever brand yourself a coward, and I don't think you want that to be your image. Do you? " Noble Rose spoke in a clam and composed manner as she'd lower her microphone and await the Harlem Nightmares response.

When Noble Rose - good God, what a fucking pretentious name - started talking again, Sista A stopped and listened like a good little girl. That she didn’t interrupt Fujiko’s line of bullshit took a good deal of restraint on her part. She was proud of herself.

But when she finished speaking, Sista A almost couldn’t get the microphone back up to her face again fast enough. Some things were in dire need of being set straight.

”Doesn’t belong to me? It’s on my goddamn shoulder, ain’t it?” She pointed to it, sitting pretty right where it belong. ”I earned it every day I carried Rumble Roses on my back, while I stayed in the company when you and everyone tucked tail and ran over to the AFW. It’s mine, and I don’t give a flying fuck what you, or any of you fuckers think about it! You can pucker up and kiss the blackest part of my ass.”

That, of course, got another round of boos. This time, Sista A didn’t even wait before she started up again.

”And I’m a coward?” A sick, twisted grin curled her lips, and she leaned forward. ”You’re the coward, Fujiko. You got this whole act going on, playing like you’re the squeaky clean hero, but deep down, you and me know what you are. What you really got going on." She gave Fujiko a knowing wink and a quick lick of the lips. "But you’re too afraid to admit it, right? Don’t want to let the beast out? Please. Check yourself, bitch.”

The crowd started to murmur, understandably confused and not getting what the Harlem Nightmare was hinting at. Before they had long to ponder, however, Sista A turned on her heel, and for a second it looked like she might just walk away to the back area and leave this whole thing.

She didn’t, however - she just turned back around a second later and wagged a finger Fujiko’s way. ”But okay. Okay. You want a match? I’m a fighting champ. I’ll give it to you - on one condition.”

Fujiko was a bit surprised by the tongue lashing she was getting from Sista A, it wasn't as if she hadn't expected it at all, though the words of the one who currently held the old belt was something that the Japanese just couldn't ignore. Her hands clenched tightly as she glared over at the blond. Narrowing her gaze as she was looking to handle this whole thing fair and square.

She didn't let any of the words provoke her and simply remained as Sista A provoked her, before finally the Harlem Nightmare said something that caused the violet haired woman's entire body to freeze up, eyes widening as she looked on at someone who simply shouldn't know about that..." H-how..." was all she was able to whisper out before she was snapped back to reality a second later as the woman gave her chance it seemed.

Still a bit shell-shocked from hearing this woman mention the beast inside of her. " ah...W-what is your condition, Aisha ?" Fujiko spoke out as she raised the microphone to her mouth, she physically gulped, trying to repress the sickening feeling of knowing that this woman knew her deep dark secret...

Oh, that look. That look on Fujiko’s face when she dropped her bombshell, that glint of fear. It was delicious, and Sista A made a mental note to watch the recording of this segment when she had the chance, hoping the cameramen picked it up. She wanted to relive that moment, again and again.

Yeah, she knew Fujiko’s little secret. Sista A and Anesthesia had been having plenty of interesting conversations since they started working together, after all. But she wouldn’t spill the beans - not today, not here. That was a little ace she’d save for a rainy day.

The smile of Sista A’s face was wide and crooked as she started to speak again, barely able to contain her glee. ”Yeah, see,” She gave the face of her belt a pat. ”If we’re having a match for the Rumble Roses belt, makes sense to have a Rumble Roses match, right? Let’s do it old school. Humiliation Match.”

The crowd had been steadily booing her for the past few seconds, but that one got them to cheer, at least for a few seconds. Being able to see two Roses in a humiliation match was a rare thing, something few of them ever expected to watch again, and the anxiously looked towards Noble Rose and hoped she’d accept the offer.

Fujiko was pretty distraught about just how Sista A of all people knew of her secret. The only thing she could think of was that Anesthesia had told her, which only made things much worse. If someone like Sista A knew her secret she could lord it over her, or who knew, try and use it to manipulate the older of the Hinomoto sisters...

She waited for that condition that the Harlem Nightmare wanted to throw at her, and when Aisha started to speak about it....Fujiko would narrow her eyes again, raising the microphone up towards her lips. " Humiliation match huh ?" Noble Rose spoke out as she would look around at the crowd, she'd take a moment...the suspense building up around them. " You're on! I shall make you relinquish that belt which you don't deserve in a Humiliation match." The Japanese veteran spoke out as the crowd went fairly wild for the notion that they were gonna have a chance to see such an iconic Rumble roses match between two of the veterans from the iconic former league.

It would be a match to remember, and it would also be a chance for Fujiko to perhaps show Sista A that she meant business, not only in terms of the title but that whatever knowledge that the dancer thought she had, was something that Fujiko was willing to do a whole let in order to keep a lid in, even if meant attempting to beat the woman in a match, in such a fashion she would regret ever wanting to utter those words.

For the first time since she came out, Sista A had a stern, unpleased frown. Noble Rose accepted the match. Right out. No haggling, no argument, just BLAM. The pristine, pious, champion of justice was completely down to embarrass Sista A in front of untold millions, all to win back the Rose of Roses championship.

More than a little worrying. Sista A chewed on her lip, tried her best not to keep her face up, but Fujiko’s eagerness was going to be a problem. For all the shit, she was giving her, nobody doubted that Noble Rose was good. Damn good.

”You think you’re just gonna steamroll me, huh? Know what I think?” Sista A tapped her skull. ”I think all that cheap-ass hair dye’s going to your brain.You really think you can get down and dirty with me, princess? Wrong. When you’re crying in the middle of that ring, when I get your stripped and bare-ass naked and tear off your Halloween costume, remember one thing: you asked for it.”

With that, Sista A finally left for real, ducking behind the curtain and making her way to the dressing room. There’d be an hour or so before the actual match could get slotted into the program, and before it did, she wanted to make sure she was looking good.

Also, she had a little business to attend to…
