The Black Racer
The Black Racer
Name: Unknown
Sex: Male
Age: 20’s
Eyes: Red
Hair: Unknown
Height: 5’ 9”
Weight: 188 pounds
Nationality: Unknown
Alignment: Tweener (While he is heelish, his huge fanbase never wavers!)
Other Aliases: The Devil’s Thunder, The Viral/Cult Phenomenon, and "The Storm Man” (He openly hates that one).
Entrance music:
Wrestling Information
Strategy: Out move the opponent (Mix of Strikes, Aerials, and some Submissions).
Style: Quick Attacker
Type: Speed
Preferred Attacks: Punches, kicks, and SPEARS!
- He also likes to use Superman Punches (This attack is where a wrestler leaps into the air before striking the opponent with his fist.)
Preferred Matches: Standard-Hardcore. His favorite match is an electrified wire match.
Physical Stats
Endurance: ★★★★ - With his infinite endurance, he'll stop when he's dead, or maybe even later....
Strength: ★★ - What he lacks in strength is fully compensated by speed.
Speed: ★★★★★ - His speed measures around an Olympic Gold Medalist's speed. So if he's running at you with his top speed, you are not...under any circumstance...going to be standing for a bit.
Defense: ★★ - He is lacking in blocking due to his preference of dodging. So if an opponent can hit him enough he will be dazed, if not stunned.
Technique: ★★★ - While not a well trained fighter, he knows enough to fight in the big leagues.
Intellect: ★★★★ - While Intelligence is rarely thought about as a factor in a fight. The Racer enjoys to play opponents both physically, and mentally. Often he uses mind games to turn teammates against one another, or tricking opponents into dropping their guards. *His fast mouth often has opponents fuming, confused, or both.*
Wresting Stats
Strikes: ★★★★ – The Racer's strikes should be feared, having both "quality" and "quantity".
Submissions: ★★★ – He knows several submission holds, but while not an expert, he uses them very effectively.
Powerhouse: ★★– The Racer's not weak, he just lets his speed do the talking.
Aerial: ★★★ - For a runner, he's pretty damn good at jumping.
Counters: ★★★ – This racer uses his mind to counter opponents moves and predict there next strategy in a heart beat.
Favored moves:
The Electric Whip: After throwing the opponent towards the ropes, the racer will jump and kick the opponent with both legs when they come back.
STO's: (Space Tornado Ogawa or the clothesline legsweep) is a sweep in which a wrestler wraps one arm across the chest of his/her opponent and sweeps the opponent's leg with his/her own leg to slam the other wrestler back-first. This is also a move used often in Judo and in other grappling martial arts. This maneuver can be used running and standing. (He will use any variation of this move, as well) (Prefers the running ones!).
630° Senton: The wrestler performs a senton, flipping 630 degrees forward before landing, i.e. one full rotation (360 degrees) following by a somersault senton (270 degrees). A corkscrew can also be added to the move. In this variation, the wrestler, facing away from the ring and situated on the top turnbuckle, performs a 180° turn in mid-air and then performs a 630° senton onto a lying opponent.
Spear: The Racer is a sucker for a good, old fashioned spear, and when paired with his speed, can be devastating.
Finishing moves:
Lightning Strikes Twice: The Racer has a habit of overkill, where he just loves to devastate the opponent. So after using a spear he will wait for the opponent to get get up, and use the spear again. He even does this if he thinks they are already beat (Can be used for other moves he uses, like The Electric Whip).
The Fastest Spear: With his “Olympic” level speed, the Racer spears his opponent so fast that he can take then threw the ropes.
Characteristics:
Visual Appearance: Little is known about this racer’s true appearance other than his outfit (See Attire).
Physical Appearance: Has the build of a runner (lean but well built).
Attire: The Racer wears a terrifying black outfit that is made to release visible shocks and sparks. While these are never used during matches, he will use them outside of the ring. This suit is also fitted with a voice changer, which makes his words seem “electrified” (higher and metallic).
Special Attire:
Personality: His personality can be summed up in two words, Completely...Chaotic. He rarely talks about anything without using metaphors of lightning and death. Also, after saying one thing, he will usually change his statement entirely. Not only is this racer obsessed with anarchy and death, but he also is said to have control over a unknown, supernatural force (Some people blow that out of proportion). He also talks unusually fast, sometimes too fast for people to understand due to his high-pitched voice changer. And some even say, if you listen hard enough, there are multiple voices speaking…. But around the time some pictures of him were popping up on the internet, The Racer became obsessed with his sightings online. Beginning to desire more and attention, he would appear unannounced anywhere he could. This is believed to be the reason why he joined AFW.
Past/History:
While little is known about this racer’s past, many speculate his true identity to be that of a famous Olympian who took gold in the 200-meter sprint. What made him truly famous, though, was his participation in the “Lightning” Run Tragedy, a storm themed race for charity. During this “Lightning” race, he and two other runners were hit by a single lightning strike while driving there. While the others died this olympian was in a coma for three months. Eventually, his family “allegedly” pulled the plug, but had others do it for them. It is known that he was disliked due to his charitable nature and refusal to join the family company. That night, though, doctors came back into the room after hearing screams and glass breaking. What they found was a trashed room and a broken window.
The olympian has yet to be seen to this day…But The Black Racer has appeared constantly. While he first appeared in Chicago during a blackout, he has also been seen all over the world. Each sighting more elaborate than the last. His most recent sighting, playing at a concert announced, seems unbeatable to his Online community...which has been growing quickly. But The Racer has an even bigger plan in motion, one that will put the AFW into chaos...
Fun Facts
The Racer has recently gained a fan who might be to small to be following him around...not that he cares....
While being a "Cult Phenomenon" The Racer has done his fair share of fights around the globe, mostly in Ireland for some reason....
He is known for causing blackouts by breaking into the electric plants, but the police can't seem to prove it, so they have their eyes on him constantly.
He doesn't like reporters, hates, Hates, HATES THEM! This is because they try to get a negative reaction from him for viewers.
"Cult" Facts:
While no one knows if he is really, his online cult community has actually made a convincing case with several people.
It is said that The Black Racer controls some supernatural force, though the exact force is still heavily debated...and overblown.
The racer is often seen driving a red and black Harley Davidson Motorcycle at night. It is quite the sight to see since it has red high beams and the wheels shoot out electricity while going 100 miles per hour. He is often chased by police because of these reasons. He has never been caught, though.
Was seen playing “Tubular Bells” on stage, at a concert he broke into. He has also been seen playing the Halloween theme sound and other dark songs elsewhere.
Seems to have trill for theatrics since all of his sightings are quite complex scenarios that he probably planned.
First Sighting: a short story
The first picture of The Black Racer was taken by a young Japanese cosplayer, who was touring America. She had sighted him during a power outage in the city of Chicago. Without any lights in the city she had trouble with finding her way back to the hotel. She had accidently gone into a back alley when she saw him looking up at the lightning filled sky, while red shocks went over his outfit. She immediately thought of how cool this “cosplayer?” was. Taking a quick picture, she had caught his attention. One large light bolt flashed then, revealing beat up men on the ground. The girl, overcome with terror, ran from the scene.
After deciding to post the picture of him, the girl got a huge following from the “Storm man” the people had called him. One of such viewers included the Racer himself, who thought she needed a lesson. He then went to the hotel room she had tweeted about on her site. When she entered later that night, the girl was welcomed by The Black Racer as he read the newspaper.
Completely frozen in shock, the girl just watched as he said in a high, metallic voice “Hello…I believe you took my picture. Seeing how she was too scared to answer, though, he just shrugged and walked away to the closest window. He then shattered it and climbed onto the ledge. He looked back saying he had a surprise on the roof, and to bring her camera.
Overcoming her shock, the girl went up the stairs to the roof. Opening the door to the roof, the Racer greeted her while by the ledge as he looked towards the “surprise”. There was a building on fire! Not only that but it read the words “Bring me Wells”. Looking back excitedly, he said to her, “A video of this will be much more popular!”. While she was unsure of what this message meant, she wasn't sure if she wanted to know. He then stood up to leave, but as he walked past her he stopped and remembered why he was there. “Oh yeah…” he said putting his arm around her. The girl froze, unsure of what he would do. “Keep your location a secret online…” Pausing again, he pressed the side of his throat and laughed without the voice changer, “There’s some real mental cases that use it too!” His real voice to her was “Similar to the Devil with a British accent”, which would terrify her for months. But, then again, the girl's site would still have millions of views to this day. To her, this may have been worth it.
AFW Information
Goals: While he obviously joined for the attention....his real, darker motive is...to have fun!...no matter how many people try to get in the way of it. He just wants to put on a show....of him beating and breaking those people. To him, a life without a little fun, is enough to drive a man mad! So why shouldn't he just make AFW as "fun" as it should be...
