Retirement

Haaah, so...yeah. I guess it's my turn.

I am officially retiring from active role playing here on the forums. I'll still be around in Discussion and on the usually messengers, but as far as RPing goes, I am officially retired. I hate to do this with the awful timing of following up Tat and Rhapsody's departure, but this has been brewing for a while.

Before I go any further, yes, I realize I am leaving a lot of threads and stories open ad leaving a lot of you high and dry. For that, I am honestly sorry.

But, let's be real. My posting has been sporadic at best these past two years, and this year especially I've barely kept to any kind of regular posting. 2016 has not been a good year for me. I've been going through a lot of issues IRL this year. I barely have the energy to keep myself going some days. Those of you I'm close to know about my mental and emotional issues, and as of late, I've been in one of the worst states I've ever been in. I just don't have the energy, creatively, or motivation to keep role playing here.

Again, I am honestly and sincerely sorry to those of you I'm leaving out to dry, but this is something I need to do for myself. It's better for me to cut the threads now, and stop stressing over and worrying about trying to make myself post, you know?

I just ask two things of you guys.

1) Please don't come to me angry, complaining, or asking me to finish a thread or storyline. It's not going to happen, and if you bother me about it, I WILL block you. I have enough stress going on as it is, I don't need more getting layered on top of it.

2) Don't come in shouting AFW IS DEAD and AFW IS DYING or anything. That's crap, and you know all know it. You guys'll be fine without my increasingly irrelevant posting.

Thanks for the memories, guys. I had a lot of fun.

This might be a bit sappy and I don't even know if I ever told you this, but you and Valen were a big reason as to why I joined AFW in the first place, the match that convinced me to join AFW and think "Damn...I really wanna write fun stuff like this, cause it looks so awesome." Was the match between Tiffany and Angel. So I'm kinda sad to not have rped more with you ;~;

You'll be greatly missed, and at the very least we'll be more than happy enough to have you stick around and hang out with us crazy fools, even if you aren't gonna rp anymore.

but yeah...figured I should at least thank you for bringing to join this place, even if you didn't know it.

Gonna miss working with you Alex, but if it's what makes you happy, then it's fine by me.

At least you are still around on discussions, and you can re join us if life gets better

I'm very sad now about this, but I hope you'll be able to get through your issues and stress at some point in life so you'll feel better in time. This really sucks, but I understand completely why you're calling it quits and at least you're staying here so that's saying something. I just wish that we RP'd more, I really liked all the work you did over the years. T-T

Thanks guys. It means a lot. Really.

Who knows? Maybe one day, when I'm better off and I've worked through my issues and my life is stable again (hah), I'll be able to come back and focus on things again.

I mean, this is wrestling, after all. Who actually stays retired for good when it comes to wrestling?
