Belinda Northman Vs. Heather Sunderland: Submission Match

Things were going good, Belinda's seemed to have been able to return from her slump and show herself that she was an accomplished wrestler just like anyone else here. It seemed as if she was getting throw into quite a few strong opponents now, all for her having asked for it and all but she hadn't exactly expected things to go like this. Now she was supposed to face of against an opponent whom had usually gone toe to toe with her older sister. It was a rather scary thought as well...but she felt oddly good about it.

Heather was one of the most well known wrestlers on the roster and if she could prove herself against a wrestler of that caliber than she'd without a doubt be showing everyone that something as silly as a little slump wouldn't stop her. She was planning to rise to the top one day! What was her goal here in AFW ? It was more than just being a good wrestler, it was more than just facing off against her rival or enemies in a match. She wanted to surpass her sister, she wanted to take the top. She wanted to have it all!

Belinda was more than ready for tonight, as she stepped out onto the ramp through the curtains as the crowd let out a great deal of cheers for the lovely young Swede. Her hood up and covering her head she took off running towards the ring just like the first time and right before she reached it she leaped up and dove through the middle and bottom ropes, with a quick roll along the mat she came up to one knee from the roll in a rather smooth maneuver. Getting up to her feet she'd raise her hand up high and run off towards the corner to leap up onto the middle ropes and reach that hand up into the air. Jumping down after a few seconds she'd turn and pull down her hood as she'd lean against her corner, stretching her arms out over the top ropes.

When Heather was told she'd be facing the sister of her long-time rival, she had quite the mixed feelings. She was full best friends with Cecilia and she had no hard feelings towards her whatsoever, but it was a part of her life and career that she was sure she had gotten past. She grumbled out a bit--but that wasn't a fair way to look at it. She's never faced this girl before and it could be a whole new experience for her.

She nod her head a bit as she made her way out to the stage area after Belinda made her entrance, dressed in her purple fishnet top, black bikini top underneath, black skirt, purple and black striped stockings, and black boots. She crawled out onto the entrance, the stage filled with smoke and green laser lights as Heather's face was glowing a light purple--along with her arm--from the glowpaint she had applied to her body--reacting to the dark blue light. She crawled out to mid-ramp, standing up as she raised her hands in the air, the pyro shooting out from the stage area--Heather rushing down the ramp and sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope.

She ran to the corner, getting up onto the middle rope and raising her hands in the air, pyro shooting down from the ceiling, Heather leaping off that corner and turning to face Belinda. She nod her head slightly, humming as the lights turned back to normal, revealing her body paint to be transparent in the normal light. "I'll just have you know--I know you're Cecilia's sister, but that thought is leaving my mind right when that bell rings. I won't be holding you to any standards and I won't be treating you any differently from someone I'd fight for the first time. I'm sure you'd rather that be the case anyways"

Belinda swallowed a gulp in her throat as she heard Heather's music start, she was nervous...but not debilitatingly so...no she was the perfect amount of nervous for something like this. The excitement of facing off against Heather Sunderland of all people gave her slight goosebumps and cause her to tremble slightly. This was a stage like no other, and so far is seemed as if she was about to partake in a lot more of them!

The Swede watched as the purple haired woman made her way down towards the ring and finished off her entrance. With the lights like normal and the music of her rival having died down a little bit the Swede would move out of the corner and start to slowly walk up towards her opponent for the evening.

Once in the center of the ring the young Swede would offer Heather a handshake and smile. She knew that Heather might be cocky and all but Belinda could handle that, above all she knew that Heather was a stand up gal and should be treated like it. " Oh no worries Heather. I have no intentions of having you go easy on me. In fact if you did I would be kind of insulted. I want us to give it out all, just like with any other match. Just like you'd do to Cecilia." younger Swede let out with a friendly smile towards the similarly tall purple haired wrestler.

Heather nod a little at Belinda's words as she watched her extend her hand out. She let out a long breath, pushing a smile on her face as well as she stepped forward. She took the girl's hand firmly, shaking it in a little share of respect and sportsmanship. "Glad to hear it. We'll both go all out on our first meeting." She said with a nod, brimming with a bit of excitement for the bout that was about to come. She appreciated trash talk every once in a while, but having this nice respectful handshake at the start of the match felt quite good--a clear contrast to the ways her and Cecilia started matches.

She released her hand, taking a few steps back to her own corner, nodding to Belinda as she did. She stretched herself out a little, pulling at the rope a bit in the corner, though focusing on her legs. This is a submission match, something that Heather honestly wasn't the best at--but she's beaten her best friend, a submission specialist, in a submission match before, so she was confident in her abilities for this match.

She calmed herself down a little, not taking Belinda for granted for a second as she nod to the ref girl, signaling that she was fully ready. She just stood in her corner in wait for that bell to ring to begin their match.

Belinda backed off as Heather did after they parted from the handshake and had some pretty friendly words, it seemed as if this was gonna be a friendly battle filled with sportsmanship between the two women, from the look of Heather's face Belinda would almost think the woman was a bit surprised at first that the younger blond wasn't all up in the purple haired girl's face.

The younger Northman soon leaned back against the corner and would take a deep breath, stretching out a bit as she tried to focus herself on the match. she nodded her head to the ref to show that she was able and ready for the match and with it the bell finally rang.

The Swede would waste no time! Running forward towards Heather's she attempted to come in closer and closer, showing off that when it came to speed she was no sloth! She moved forward towards Heather with her arm outstretched as if she was going to go for a clothesline yet at the final moment she'd try and drop down and instead go for a spear, looking to feint Heather at the start of the match and perhaps get in a good early hit on the veteran!

Heather kept the pacing of her breathing up, her chest rising and falling visibly with the breaths that she was taking before that bell finally rang for the beginning of the match. She pushed herself off the corner, about to start to approach Belinda before she saw the blonde heading straight towards her. Her eyes widened at the sight--it reminding her quite a bit of how she herself would start her matches, preparing for some kind of leap.

She saw that clothesline, bringing her body down a bit to duck it--but she then noticed how low Belinda suddenly was. Before she could react to the shift in position, she felt her collide with her gut, nearly knocking the air out of her as that spear rammed into her. She was taken down onto her back, her upperbody bouncing a bit against the mat as she groaned out in pain, getting quite the hit to start out the match.

If Heather was expecting Belinda to wrestle like her sister she had another thing coming for her, Belinda's style was different and her attitude in a match was as well, which was why she went in with such a different approach in this match. She came in low and with it managed to get the first quick hit and it was a nasty spear at that which took the purple haired woman down for a painful blow.

The Young Swede quickly backed up onto her feet and would look on down at the Purple haired woman, not wanting to waste a single moment she would try and grab a hold of Heather's legs and spread them. Only to try and jump up in between and come down onto Heather's frame for a nasty leg drop.

If she said she hadn't picked up a few moves from watching Cecilia matches with Heather then Belinda would be lying. However, her arsenal was far from limited to some fancy highflying moves! Which Heather was going to see throughout this match of theirs!

Heather groaned out a little, squirming and writhing on the mat as she clenched her fists tightly. She took a breath, shaking her head as she tried to pull away from this, wanting to regain herself--but instead she felt Belinda take hold of her legs. She squirmed and struggled with the girl, grunting slightly before she saw Belinda leap up into the air.

Her body almost froze up at that sight, stunned at the fact that Belinda was using one of her own moves on her right at the start. No time wasted, the girl was trying to best her at her own style--and for now that entire fact caught her off guard quite a bit. She couldn't offer any sort of response or reaction to try and defend herself from the girl, her leg drop slamming right down on her, making her body rock from the hard impact.

Belinda wasn't exactly using Heather moves against her for any particular reason other than she had picked up a handful of moves from people whom she respected during her training period between Summer Splash and now, working tirelessly to up her game and style and turn herself in a truly functional all around wrestler.

Once she crashed down on Heather's frame with that leg drop, she quickly decided to push up to her feet and try to drag Heather up to her feet by her arm. The young Swede wanted to show Heather that she didn't just pay her game, but every game. As such she'd try and have them stand face to face, trying to pull one arm in between Heather's legs and the other over Heather's shoulders before attempting to Heave the purple haired woman up into the air and tilt her upside down.

Holding the lovely veteran up for a moment before attempting to throw her down hard onto the mat with a body slam!

Being pulled by her arm, Heather winced a little from the girl's continued offense. She felt her pick her up like that, gritting her teeth just slightly as she was lifted up. The fight was being taken to her right away right at the start of the match as Belinda was hitting her with one move after the other. She had to shake her head to just try to put her mind back into this and clear her thoughts to pull off a counter.

As she was lifted up into that upside down position, Heather quickly reached to latch onto Belinda's leg. She tried to use this and snatch her legs around the girl's arm to take her off balance and take her down to the mat with her. If she could do this, she'd attempt to slip from underneath her, maneuvering herself with her grip to try and get her right into an ankle lock, standing herself up with it.
