Cammy White vs Sonya Blade

You know, now that I think more about it, they might give it to Cammy based on her mobility.

SF characters are waaay more mobile than the clunkier moving MK ones. If they let Cammy win, that'll probably be a deciding factor.

Hmmm...I actually wouldn't mind that to be honest.

Season 3 of DB has been terrible. Boring fights, mostly half assed animation, and majority of the battles have been total curb stomps.

The main thing I had a problem with was the anvil mini game. All the Mk characters in that game can do it and based on what we've seen of Sonya, does anyone believe her punches are that strong? If she could punch that hard, then that means the Mk characters bodies are as strong/stronger than steel.

Cammy won that fight, if not for that drone.

Well as the DB pointed out. Sonya has more expierence, is most likely physically stronger than Cammy in terms of strength. Cammy has the speed and is more agile. However, Sonya canon wise has beaten more dangeros foes and more consistently. Meanwhile someone earlier mentioned that Cammy has a poor winstreak. Even without the drones, it's still slighty stacked in Sonya's favor.

There's also an MK fighter who literally has stronger than steel skin. I honestly dont think any are remotely human. Tai's right in saying this was kind of a mismatch cause most of us called it xP

It's Death Battle.

90% of them are awful mismatches where they have to twist the rules and play favorites to ensure that certain characters win.

I'll admit, there are times when I agree with them and am glad "my team" won.


Digimon beating Pokemon, Sonic/Tails beating Mario/Luigi, and a couple others are results I enjoyed at the time.


That being said, Deathbattle really is mostly crap. They take a ton of information from non canon games and sources (because dumb fanboys would throw whiny shit fits otherwise), and because most, if not all, of their fights are decided by fan requests, and most fans are stupid, we keep getting stuck with terrible mis-matches.

Like half of the fights in this season alone, this was a terribly one sided mis-match that had no point in happening. Hell, even the animation, (which usually tries to offer a back and forth fight with one side only dominant for the finish) couldn't hide how one sided this was. Cammy ended up a wrecked, broken and bleeding bitch while Sonya had nary a scratch on her, and that was before the finishing sequence.


Plus, honestly, while they used to at least try to give the fight some kind of fun little excuse plot in the past, this one was literally just "Sonya fucking murders everybody she comes across, because how dare they exist around her." ...though, to be fair, thats pretty much exactly how she is in the MK games...hell, thats how EVERYONE is in the MK games.

So yeah. Decent animation (usually, not lately), bullshit research, more often than not bullshit fight results because of catering too/trying to piss off bullshit fans for more views, so fuck em.

Plus, SF is my jam and Cammy is my waifu, so fuck DB and MK for that.


Meanwhile, next time will feature Tracer from Overwatch, a game that came out at the end of May. Its been out less than 3 months. Its still got patches and DLC coming in. You know DAMN well the research on her is going to be complete bullshit.


My guess is she'll face Jynx from League, or whats her name from Starcraft, or some other randomly powered bullshit MMO Mascot.
