Dröfn was born the daughter of an Icelandic politician, and a teacher. She grew up in a wealthy household with her 3 younger brothers. She was well educated and trained well in gymnastics. She was a ballerina at one point. But she always felt like her life was too safe. She wanted to add some danger to her world, so she decided to start fighting and joined the AFW
