Alcohol and headaches

"Sorry, sorry! NGGUUH!!" Yukiko buried her boot into Lia, sending Lia's back against the brick wall, and then down onto the floor, rolling on the rough concrete in obvious pain... but she got up soon enough.

"Owowowow... uugh, sorry... I get it, Miss redhead stays outta this. I shoulda known you two were dating, hah, silly Lia!"

"I-it's not like that!" Both of them objected in perfect unison, while blushing furiously.

"Urrrrrrgh... Dammit, just shut up already!" Yukiko fumed in frustration, sending a kick to Lia's head as she was getting back up. In all likelihood, the two of them would probably be able to ditch Lia if they made a run for it. But... she was Maddie's enemy now, so it probably wouldn't hurt to rough her up more.

Their combined reaction was amusing to watch, but Yukiko's next move was a bit less. "Haha, of course, of cours-OUUUGH!" the back of her skull smashed roughly against the wall again, downing her once more. "Oooww..." That one seemed to keep Lia down, at least more than all the previous attacks had.

"Uugh... this is a lot like that time... guurgh... shut up me... She hates you now..." Lia said to herself, the constant bashing of her head was starting to really show its effects.

"Great. Now she's talking to herself..." Yukiko muttered disdainfully. "Ugh... Whatever..."

"Hey you!" the blue-haired girl announced, pointing down at the fallen Lia, "If you've haven't gotten the hint yet, leave us the hell alone! Maddie too, as a matter of fact!"

Whatever had happened between those two, it'd probably be better for Maddie not to associate with any more weirdos as much as possible. Especially given how she's been acting lately...

Yukiko did not press up with another attack, so that was nice of her. "Aahah, sorry about bothering you guys... and... Maddie... uugh, you know about that too?" Lia sighed aloud, her drunk mind starting to give way to something more rational.

"Uugh... ooh, of course you guys do, you two were there..."

It seemed as though that finally sobered Lia up. "If you've finally figured that out, you should probably shut up now." Akiko advised.

"I've had enough of her already..." Yukiko grumbled, as she turned away to leave the alley. "C'mon, Akiko-san."

"Ahah, sorry... I didn't see much of you guys last time, didn't recognize ya..." Lia groaned on the ground, still managing a smile, but it was pretty obviously forced.

"Say hi to Maddie for me..." She called out, her voice going softer, as Lia leaned back into the wall, the cold, hard bricks starting to feel quite warm and fluffy... almost like a pillow.... and she was so very tired... "Uuu... night... mmmaddie... imsorry..." Even after she was out, Lia's quiet voice echoed in the alley.

Lia's request didn't even reach either of them, as the two of them were already well on their way out of the alley. "Goddammit..." That whole encounter really brought down the mood between them, and neither of them talked much for the whole way back.

Naturally they didn't tell Maddie about this. Not that she probably would have cared. Well maybe she might have asked why they didn't call her to join in. Either way it was probably fine that they didn't.
