Re: James Wright vs. Yajiri Kasamatsu
That kick wasn't going to get the cover of any famous magazines, but it did exactly what it needed to do, which was take Yajiri completely out of this match. James brushed aside his long-ish hair, to really look at Yajiri. If he had gone for the three count there, there was a solid chance he could get the win. He didn't want to bet on it though. James smiled, as he was planning on doing something that was a little bit more of a sure bet.
The aerial ace wasn't hurrying this time. He was already sweating more than he wanted to, which to say he was sweating even a little bit. James was breathing hard as well, and he didn't like to stress himself like this. The purple-haired man would much rather be at home listening to music and drinking beer, but here he was.
And here he would stay until he got the job done. Not wanting to prolong this any further, James once again pulled Yajiri up onto her feet. James would then turn around and pull Yajiri into a three-quarters facelock. From there, he would spring into the air and do a backflip over his opponent, making exaggerated stepping motions as he did so. Then poor Yajiri would be driven backfirst and headfirst into the mat for his finisher, the Wright Flyer.

Re: James Wright vs. Yajiri Kasamatsu
At this point Yajiri couldn’t tell if the crowd was cheering or booing, nor could she make out any other noticeable sounds within the arena. All she heard was a loud ringing in her head, thanks to that brutal kick James had just given her. And when he pulled her off the mat once again, the entire room felt like it was spinning all around her. That feeling only intensified when James grabbed onto her head and flipped over, bringing Yajiri right along with him until....
BAM!
The back of the rookie’s head slammed down onto the mat with a mighty impact. The roundhouse kick may not have put her lights out, but this certainly had. Yajiri was now completely motionless, eyes shut tight. She’d put up a good fight, and came damn close to putting James away a time or two. But close doesn’t cut it. She was out cold now, and at this point a pin would just be a formality.

There it was. James had pulled it off. His first bout had gone down in flames, but this one seemed winnable. James quickly hooked Yajiri's leg and lay across her on the mat. The ref girl knew the game was up, and came sliding in to count Yajiri out. The boy was breathing slower now.
ONE!
ONE!

Re: James Wright vs. Yajiri Kasamatsu
“TWO…!”
The ref’s hand struck the mat a second time, but still Yajiri was completely still. The rookie was out like a light, and didn’t even notice the weight pressing down on her torso or the sound of the referee’s count. As much as she would’ve loved to find a way back into this, she was done. There was no way around it.
“THREE!”
Ding ding ding!
The bell rang, making James’ victory official! Yajiri had given it her all, but tonight it simply hadn’t been enough. Whenever she regained consciousness and realized what had happened she was no doubt going to be disappointed in herself. But this defeat wasn’t going to break her down. Yajiri would study the film, hit the gym, and do everything in her power to learn from this so that she’d be better the next time she came to the ring than she was tonight.

Re: James Wright vs. Yajiri Kasamatsu
James stood up. He was feeling pretty hyped up, and who could blame him. After his debut, which ended in a disastrous loss, and this was a win. He didn't squash her, he didn't wreck her, but a win is a win is a win. The aerial ace leaped into the air and gave a war whoop unlike any he had given before. His arm was raised high in the sky, and the crowd was cheering. The audience almost categorically supported women, but James's enthusiasm was infectious.
He turned and waved at them all, and they roared once again. It was high time to celebrate, and James had a six pack of beers waiting for him at his apartment for just such an occasion. He turned to face his opponent. James had an inkling that he should say something, but it was hard for him to find the words. The aerial ace was not his sister, but he was not very nice either.
"Uh, good." He said.
With those awkward words being said, he turned and left the ring. He marched up the entrance ramp with his head held high and joy in his heart.

Re: James Wright vs. Yajiri Kasamatsu
By the time Yajiri’s eyes finally began to open, James was already heading back up the ramp. Initially the rookie wasn’t sure what was going on. But the sound of her opponent’s music playing along with the cheering of the crowd helped her put the pieces together pretty quickly.
The realization of her defeat sunk in, and a heavy sigh left her lips. She couldn’t be too angry over this. James hadn’t done anything against the rules, and Yajiri had given it her all. It just wasn’t enough.
Slowly she rolled herself under the nearest rope and eased herself to her feet at ringside. A hand moved to rest on the back of her throbbing skull, not exactly thrilled at the knowledge that that pain would likely be sticking around for a few more hours at least.
One step at a time she gingerly walked back up the ramp and disappeared backstage, more than eager to recover and put this loss behind her.
Winner via pinfall: James Wright
