Chasing after a rival(for Shadowofice)

Megumi stood quietly, watching Sera sort out everything in her mind. She wasn't quite sure what she needed to do, but Sera needed someone to be with her right now, someone to listen and help her out. After all, that was something Sera lacked in that difficult past of hers, someone to listen to her troubles. Megumi couldn't just leave her alone.

"Hmm, you know why I'm still here," Megumi said, "You never wanted me to leave. Nobody ever listened to your troubles in the past, did they?" She turned her eyes away, looking at the ceiling, but not quite focusing on anything. "It must have been lonely," Megumi mused, half to herself and half to Sera.

"That has nothing to do with this!!!" Seraphim suddenly gave out a sharp yell, and then slammed her fist to the side, colliding into the tiled wall. The room let out a loud crack and rattled at this blow, and then a few chunks of the tile fell helplessley to the floot, a small basketball sized crater left where Seraphim had just struck, truly showing how frightening her strength could be.

"Nothing... not a damn thing right here, right now, has to do with my past. It's you! It's all about you, don't you get it??" Whether it was a desperation for someone to blame, or Seraphim just couldn't control her emotions anymore and was resorting to anger, Seraphim couldn't help from letting herself just scream out, slipping on her eyepatch like a glove and turning towards Megumi. When she did, it revealed that although her crimson eye was bright in rage, it was also wet and stained with tears, noticable even after she had the water raining down on her.

And then, she couldn't hold it any more. Like a bomb just going off, Seraphim unleashed everything she had to say at Megumi. Saying more than a mouthful as she yelled and cried out all she had to say, cursing, yelling, and truly putting all her frusterated emotions in what she had to say.

"I can't be with you! Yet for some dumb-ass reason I want you! You remind me of everything I hate, and somehow I still have these fuckin' feelings in me. Hell, I already have someone who loves me, yet I'm a greedy bitch who just can't let that be enough! Seeing you just then, I wanted it all, I really felt something. But not only don't I deserve it, but I'd be hurting someone. So why don't you ask me again what my problem is, huh?? Why don't you look down at 'poor little Sera' and keep wondering what the -fuck- is wrong when you're too damn blind to realize you're the problem?! I hate you! I swear to God I hate you!! But I can't tolerate the itiful fact that I love you also. So how's that for listening?? Are you fuckin' happy you prick?? Because I'm sure as Hell not. I wish you could just choke on you're shitty little pride and concern you have and go die already. But even then it would make me feel like shit!"

Now Megumi was really confused, certainly shocked, and more than a little afraid. Sera's little display of anger made Megumi remember just who she was dealing with. Seraphim Harmonia was a dangerous person, and it appeared that the furious anger she held was caused by and directed at Megumi. Megumi thought about just leaving then and there, since apparently Sera didn't want her around confusing her, but Megumi had to stay. Now that she was the problem, she had to be the one to solve it. She was actually well on her way now, since not only did she know Sera's problem, but she had managed to get Sera to talk.

"Sera..." Megumi began to say, but then fell silent. Truth be told she had no idea what she could say right now. She took a deep breath and began to talk anyways. "If that's what's bothering you, then fine. You're right, if you already have someone else, then you shouldn't just take me, even if you want me. You would be hurting someone there." She paused a moment. "But you're blaming yourself for the problem again. Blame me, I was the one who suggested this to you. It's my fault." She turned around and opened the door. "Love me, hate me, it's all the same in the end. Do whatever makes you happy." She left the shower room, closing the door behind her.

As Megumi remained for a bit longer, saying what little she could, Seraphim hardly seemed to react. The most that came from her was how her brief lapse of boiling anger was simmering down, the mix of rage and sadness coming over her pained expression, eye eyebrows curling up and a scowl coming to her lips as this whole situation was shaking her to the core. She just wanted to be alone now, but she wouldn't let what Megumi said simply fade past her, they had struck closer to her heart than her rival may have thought, leaving Seraphim standing there, never moving, but her body actually starting to quiver a little.

She couldn't say anything back. In the end, Seraphim just watched her leave, holding back any more tears until she left, before finally stepping back, falling into the wall with her back to it and sinking down as she sat there. The water still trickled down from the shower head, soaking her to the bone as she sat on the tiled floor of the stall, her head laying in her arms for a few moments, still getting out those final tears while she sobbed.

Megumi... even now, she couldn't stop thinking about the girl.

It wasn't for another 5 minutes that Seraphim would remain, broken down but feeling like she had gotten out a few needed tears. She would go home after this was all done, but her return was silent, like right now... she was broken down. She needed some time alone, and maybe a day off from the League after this.
