Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Felina was relieved to no longer have the camel clutch torturing her back, and took a moment to catch her breath before starting to pull herself up again. Then she heard Charlie throw out a little challenge for her, one she definitely intended to make him regret. Fitting in with the family tradition had been a struggle of hers for her entire life, and a rather sensitive subject to her. But if that’s how Charlie wanted to play it, Felina was more than willing to oblige...
Growling under her breath as she stood, the kickboxer immediately took her stance and moved in toward her foe. As she drew near, Felina started to shift her right leg around a bit, trying to create the illusion that she was looking for an opening to fire off one of her brutal kicks. If Charlie paid too much attention to that, then hopefully he’d miss the sudden left hook she threw right at the side of his jaw!

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Charlie took the bait hook, line, and hard left! His arms went up and he was about to lower himself down for another leg sweep when the punch hammered his jaw! Charlie let out a muffled groan as he stumbled back and fell straight down to the mat! He knew he got played, but his head was swimming from the hit to his jaw. He moved about on the mat in a disoriented manner, trying to get back up to his feet! However, he was moving much slower than he would like as he tried to shake off the blow which was much easier said than done!
Felina was just as bad as Carmen, which is exactly what Charlie feared. When he got back up to his feet he would make sure to be on the move again... sadly he was still laying on the mat disoriented!

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Pow, right in the kisser!
Felina didn’t possess quite the same raw punching power that Carmen did. Then again, Carmen was an Olympic silver medalist for a reason. But as they say, it’s the punch you don’t see coming that dishes out the most damage. Felina had baited Charlie’s attention away perfectly - her legs were good at that, even outside the ring, and allowed her punch to blast him before he even knew what was coming.
Her foe was moving, but he looked out of it. In a boxing match the ref would no doubt be starting a ten count, and Felina would probably be feeling pretty confident this would be the end. But this was a wrestling match. Pinfalls and submissions were what counted here.
So she walked over to his side, put a foot against his chest and shoved him down onto his back while he was trying to pick himself up. Then she took a seat next to him and grabbed his arm, draped her gorgeous legs over his neck and chest, then leaned back to try to lock him in an armbar!

Charlie was too stunned to do anything to stop the armbar! He let out a loud grunt through grit teeth as he tried to buck his hips up and use his legs to get closer to the ropes that were off to his side. Charlie was fighting through some serious pain as he struggled against the hold! After a few moments which seemed like an eternity he reached out with his free arm and the leg on that side... anything to try to reach that bottom rope!

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Jacob wasn't exactly the kind of guy who enjoyed revenge. Or the kind of guy who even went for it. However he couldn't get Felina out of his head. It might have sounded petty, but he couldn't stomach his loss to her. He wasn't a sore loser. Well not entirely. He was more frustrated at how much she embarrassed him at his debut. Sure he had been a bit of a dick. Ok, a big dick. But still, there was no need to put him down like that. His back was still recovering from it too. He even had to decline his ring debut due to the sheer damage she had managed to apply to it.
All this frustration had built up to this, Jacob standing backstage watching the match unfold on screen. It had now become pretty clear that Felina was going to win this one. SO now it was time to make his move. Quietly he would sleuth over the entrance of the ramp, taking a moment to compose himself and make sure he was ready for what he was about to do. Without his theme playing, or anything else going on, Jacob began to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. His pace was slow. He was using a black cane to help him walk. He had been offered crutches but refused to use them due to there look. It was simply there to make sure that no undue pressure was applied to his back. Walking down he saw the male trying to escape the hold. Poor guy. After approaching the ring he would use the cane to hoist himself up, grabbing onto the ropes and standing up on the outside of the ring, watching the guys hand trying to reach out for the ropes towards him.
"Seems you are in a spot of bother? Want me to help? Cant have you losing to this fool" He said, motioning towards Felina.

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Felina couldn’t have felt much more confident than she did at the moment. Charlie seemed to be a quick and skilled guy, but she’d put him down, and had him trapped in about as nice an armbar as could possibly be applied. He was reaching for the ropes, but they were much too far away to be grabbed.
“Gotcha now! Better tap out, boy!” Felina said, continuing to keep him pinned beneath her legs while wrenching his arm back. She wasn’t planning on breaking his arm, but she really felt like she could’ve if she’d wanted to. That sort of feeling was another she’d never experienced in any of her numerous kickboxing bouts. It was strange, but simultaneously empowering. Felina felt like she had him beat. But then a familiar voice called to her, and she glanced in its direction.
“What the-- HEY! THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! GET OUT OF HERE!” Felina barked out at Jacob. She still had her hold in, but Jacob’s distracted had resulted in her letting up on the pressure. Charlie was still firmly trapped, but for at least a few seconds he’d be spared the excruciating pain being dealt to his outstretched limb. Meanwhile, of course, the ref marched right over toward Jacob, yelling at him to go away like he was shooing off a stray dog.

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Charlie was struggling, reaching out for the ropes, still falling short when some guy he didn't recognize showed up. He kept working his way over to the ropes which seemed too far away for his own good! "Ngh... who the hell are you?" Charlie asked between his pained grunts, still working his way over to the ropes.
If Charlie did manage to get to the ropes he would shoo this guy off if he had to. He needed to see how he was doing in a straight match, to see what he needed to work on. This guy playing mind games with Felina was probably harming Charlie's assessment of how his comeback was going as much as he was messing with Felina! "Seriously dude.... will ya just get out of here?"

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Okay, so no one wanted Jacob here. Felina didn't, The ref didn't, Charlie didn't and it seemed the crowd did not want him either. Never before in his entire life had he been rejected so much. And for some reason, it didn't affect Jacob. Well, it would have, but his desire to expose and humiliate and ruin Felina had taken a priority. The ref was far too loud and it vexed Kira so. He really wished they could just keep it down instead of shouting.
"Whats wrong Felina, I only came to see how you are doing. Can't have you being too successful right? I mean if you did well that would reflect badly on my assessment of you. Now true, it was most likely wrong in the first place, our first encounter sorta proved that... But hey, here let me help you"
With his little monologue over he focused his attention back onto Charlie, lifting the cane up and over the ropes he would swing it so that it would try to smack the trapped wrestler across the head. It wasn't a powerful swing, but it was still enough to get the result he wanted - the disqualification of Felina. Just to prove his point he then proceeded to bring the cane back towards him, before pushing down on it pressing it into the male wrestlers outstretched hand, the one desperately trying to reach a rope. the pressure wouls be enough to pin the hand to the canvas and stop it from going nowhere.

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
“What the fuck are you talking about?! Get outta here!” Felina immediately barked back in irritation at Jacob. But he didn’t leave, and for some reason that left the latina severely perplexed. No one had ever run in to interfere in one of her kickboxing bouts. Sure, this sort of thing was much more common in wrestling, but it wasn’t something Felina had trained or prepared her body or mind for. What was she supposed to do? If she let go of her hold and went after Jacob, Bryan would be free to capitalize on the distraction. But if she kept it locked in, she left herself vulnerable to an attack from Jacob.
Thanks to her hesitance, it was only once the cane was raised up that Felina let go and rolled away, though that left Charlie right in its path! A loud thwack rang out as the cane struck him, and immediately Felina was back on her feet looking back and forth between the ref, Charlie and Jacob in utter confusion, as the unwelcome visitor continued to attack her foe! Why would he be doing that unless....
“Oh no... Wait ref, don’t--!” DING DING DING!
Too late.
The ref had already called for the bell, and Felina ran toward Jacob while hurling a right hook at his jaw in hopes of knocking him away from Charlie! A last ditch effort to keep the match alive, but not enough. Hit or miss, seconds later a voice from ringside called out over the microphone, “Here is your winner by disqualification..... CHARLIE HAINES!!!!!”
“WHAT?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!” Felina roared out, grabbing tightly onto her hair as she turned to glare at the announcer. Thanks to Jacob, she’d just been handed her first loss in the league. That wouldn’t have been so terrible if her opponent had simply outclassed and defeated her fair and square. But she had him! Felina was confident she’d only been seconds away from victory, only for that to be snatched away and handed to her opponent on a silver platter!
“You....” she growled, furiously turning to glare a hole right through Jacob’s head. If he wasn’t already out of the ring and making his escape by now, Felina was likely going to make him regret it...

Re: Felina Rodriguez vs Charlie Haines
Charlie reached out....he just about had the ropes just one more inch....
Thats when the cane hit. Charlie let out a yell as the thrashed about, covering his head with one hand, reaching out again for the ropes, only for the cane to come down again! As Charlie yanked his hand away he felt the hold let up as the bell rang. Now knowing what was going on he hopped up ready to fight. Being announced as the winner caught him off guard.
"Wait.... what?" He said, sounding confused. That jerk got him a win, but Charlie wasn't out for that. He needed an honest, hard match so he could see where he really was. This was shaping up to be just that, and he wanted to go rip-roaring around the ring to show everyone he could bounce back after a rope break. Now, at least tonight, that was never going o happen.
Charlie approached Felina, not really sure what to expect. "I don't know who that jackoff was, but I didn't want that. Maybe we can get together again and have a proper match that isn't interupted?" Charlie asked with a shrug.
