Re: Topic: Wrestling?
It was an awesome match at Summerslam 2002, which was a fucking awesome PPV, a Summerslam that took until 2014 to finally match.
There was also his Backlash 2003 match with John Cena, his 2002 Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker, his Survivor Series 2002 and 2003 Stretcher Matches with Big Show, his King of the Ring and Vengeance 2002 matches with Rob Van Dam, his match with Ric Flair from 2002, and his WWE Title Match with Eddie Guerrero, and his 2013 match with CM Punk.
Hate him for his schedule if you want, but Brock has had some great matches in WWE.

Don't forget his first match back with John Cena and the triple threat with Rollins.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Aaww, Bork Lazor!
Beside the early matches Tai already said, I always looked forward to Brock Lesnar matches after he gave Cena his busride to Suplex City after he returned. Now this is maybe coming to a screeching halt, but who should Vince now invest in? Cena is slowly getting too old and battered for the top spot if he does not pull a Hogan, and I think WWE is unwilling to invest big time in Ambrose, Cesaro, AJ Styles(beside being the same age as Cena) or Kevin Owens. The ship for Sheamus has clearly sailed, and Alberto del Rio is just boring in the WWE. Orton is unreliable and not fully accepted by some fans, so only Rollins is left if you exclude people that are not pushing 50.

I think they're willing to invest in KO quite a bit. Hell, they already have. While it wasn't a completely smooth road, he's had one of the best first years in the main roster. He's been on every PPV since he debuted, and while he's yet to main event, he's consistently been in the more hyped matches. They typically give him a fair amount of screen time and let him do his thing quite a bit.
Considering how the WWE has often felt about guys with his...physique...he's in a good place. Could definitely see them investing more with him in the future.
With Finn Balor debuting soon and Samoa Joe likely coming in a few months, they'll have plenty of options.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Honestly, its less about young stars, and more about NEW stars. Cena doesn't suck because he's in his 40s, he "sucks" because he's been on top, consistently, for over ten years now.
He has great matches, but his act is beyond stale and wore out its welcome, though he still has a couple years as a main eventer left in him.
So yes. Give me AJ, give me Joe, Balor, Cesaro, Owens,Rollins, Ambrose, and hell, give me Reigns.
As a fan, I don't care I AJ is in his 40s, I care that he is someone NEW to the main event scene, who can give me new and exciting matches.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I never liked Cena, and probably never will, but he used to be much more unbearable than he is right now. Even with some years of not watching wrestling, the guy was horrible from day one for me when I returned to watch it.
He surely can hold his own against most wrestlers and a ring general like Cesaro or Rollins can build a 4+ stars match with him without carrying him all the time. And contrary to my wrestling Idol Hogan, he takes clean losses then and when before he is 48 or something like that. So it is probably also the same old shit that bores me with him, not he by himself.
And regarding new stars: we are surely all willing to support them. But is WWE willing to give them to us? You just need to remember how WWE fought tooth and nail to stop Bryan, CM Punk, Bray Wyatt, Wade Barrett and in the midcard Zack Ryder to keep playing their game with Cena vs Kane, Sheamus vs Big Show or Bootista against Orton.
I hope KO gets drafted to Smackdown. Maybe it is just an old feeling lingering in my mind, but Smackdown always seemed like the place to be for upper midcard people who could make it in the main event, RAW appears always too settled for me to let that happen there. He indeed had a good year, and if WWE still would do that, he could probably take the place HHH left empty as top heel, a guy you can always bet on to win even against the top face with a realistic amount of success and a little bit of sledgehammer.

SANTA CLAUS IS GM OF RAW!
Oh wait, its Mick Foley. That...is actually pretty cool. Love Mick Foley, and if its anything like his GM run, should be fun.
Oh and Daniel Bryan is GM of Smackdown, but its not like anybody cares about that, right?

Raw is getting a Cruiserweight title.
I'd prefer it if Smackdown got it, but I understand them wanting to not just copy 2002, so I'll take it.
