Julia Rogers vs Hazuki Musumi

Julia grunted in annoyance at Hazuki’s taunting. On top of the condescending tone, the whole Entropy title business still rubbed her the wrong way, and frankly she didn’t view herself as a former champion. The way she saw it, at best she’d just been a temporary placeholder until a legitimate champion could be crowned. Having that all held over her head, not fun. But Hazuki stepping on her forehead and grinding down with her boot only made things even worse.

“Agh! Get the fuck off of me, bitch!” she shouted through grit teeth, cringing while kicking against the mat trying to pull the boot away from her with her hands. That likely wouldn’t produce very productive results, but fortunately the ref was there to step in.

“Come on, back away, Musumi! One! Two! Three!...” the warning count began, and would continue to threaten disqualification for the former Wrestle Angel unless she backed off.

Hazuki smirked, stepping away from Julia, cutting off the referees count by four.

"Such rude language! That's hardly befitting a former champ, what would Taylor think?"

She quipped sarcastically, turning her back on Julia to glare at the crowd, the Japanese fans booing loudly as they realized the insult, Hazuki dishonoring the masked American by not taking her seriously.

Julia merely growled in response to Hazuki’s taunting words as she started picking herself up off the ground. If the former Angel’s gameplan was to get under her skin, she was doing a pretty damn good job.

After using the ropes to slowly pull herself to her feet, Julia turned to see Hazuki taking in the hate of the fans as if it gave her some sort of pleasure. That the cowgirl would never be able to understand, but she was certainly appreciative of the opening before her.

Not one to hit her foe from behind when she could help it, Julia instead leaned back against the ropes and waited for Hazuki to start turning back to face her. The second that moment came, the luchadora would let the ropes push her into a rapidly accelerating dash right at her foe! She’d then leap up and try to sling her legs around Hazuki’s neck in hopes of throwing her down to the mat with a sudden hurricanrana!

Oh this was great. People like Julia always pissed her off back in the old league. Those flying types with pretty smiles. The Chigusa's, the Tomomi's, the Riyu's, all of them were popular with the crowd, and all of them got big heads with the crowd because of it, and got snooty, like they were above girls like Hazuki.

She always delighted in taking them down a peg with her unique blend of wrestling, striking, and submissions, and Julia would be no different. If these people didn't like it, just like they never liked how she beat up the girls they liked back in the day, then that was just too goddamn bad for them.

Hazuki turned about halfway across the ring from Julia, the girl making a mad dash towards her. Hazuki smirked, getting her hands up, intending on palming the girl into the air and tossing her back down...only to yelp in confusion as Julia's legs suddenly came around her neck, the half-masked blonde getting flipped over and tossed onto the mat on her back, letting out a gasp of surprise and confusion upon impact!

Immediately after the hurricanrana Julia smacked the mat with her hand and popped up to her feet with a loud shout, which alone rallied in a fresh wave of cheers and applause as the cowgirl finally seemed to have found herself an opening. Hazuki didn’t seem nearly as smug now, and Julia wanted to keep it that way!

Moving to stand just off to the side of her foe, Julia readied herself to throw a lightning quick roundhouse kick straight at Hazuki’s upper chest as soon as the former Angel started trying to get up. Naturally she’d be more than happy if the kick landed, but whether it did or didn’t the goal was merely to get Hazuki on her back again. Because immediately afterward, she’d turn her back to her foe and flip backward into a picture perfect standing moonsault, aiming to splash down right across Hazuki’s torso!

Well that was embarrassing. Hazuki hadn't been planning or expecting to get caught like that so damn early on into the match. That was NOT a mistake she planned on repeating!

Hazuki was quick to get back up to her feet, looking at Julia, eyes widening as, just in time, she threw herself back onto the mat, avoiding the fast kick that skimmed right over her body as she hit the mat...only for the masked Julia to turn it right into a back flip that landed hard onto Hazuki's stomach, surprising her yet again with a quick move, that caused her limbs to kick up, driving some air out of her lungs and leaving her groaning on the mat!

Julia’s leg tore through the air like a baseball bat looking to knock the ball right out of the park! It was a swing and a miss, as Hazuki narrowly avoided the kick. But that was just fine. It still got Hazuki down on her back so Julia could follow up with the standing moonsault!

The blonde cowgirl splashed torso first onto the Wrestle Angels veteran, and immediately reached out to hook a leg while staying over her. Recognizing the pin attempt, the ref quickly knelt down and slapped the mat to start a count!

“One...!”

It had been a while since Hazuki had been in the ring with a real high flyer, and a damn talented one to boot, much as Hazuki hated to have to admit it. She had barely dodged that kick, but hadn't even so much as thought a moonsault could be coming right after, and it had cost her dearly, the blonde having left breathless from the move.

"TWO!"

The referee yelled, slapping the mat a second time. Right after the slap though, Hazuki, despite being winded, managed to kick out of the pin attempt, the match going on as the half-masked fighter tried to get her breath back!

There wasn’t any sign of frustration or despair in the cowgirl as her foe kicked out of the pin. She might’ve caught Hazuki by surprise with the moonsault, but a tough veteran like her was almost bound to have a good bit of fight left in her.

Nothing she couldn’t deal with! And right after the pin was broken, Julia moved off of Hazuki and toward the ropes. Stepping between them, the masked girl positioned herself on the apron and pointed a finger skyward, letting the fans know she was intending to fly high once again!

“Come on. Get up...” she muttered, gripping the top rope tightly in anticipation as she waited for her window of opportunity...

It took roughly half a minute, maybe 40 full seconds, for Hazuki to catch her breath and finally start getting back up to her feet. She would have been up sooner, but the surprise of the sudden moonsault and having to get her air back all just took her off guard, forcing her to take more time to get back in gear.

Once she got up to her feet, she looked around, wondering just where the fuck her opponent went, giving Julia plenty of prep time before she turned around to see where she was behind her!
