Re: Civil War
Thats why I said he needed help. But only Cap wanted too, everyone else couldnt give a damn. Bucky was forced into more shit then he wanted to ever be in, but hes human. He never wanted to be involved in the situation but people dragged him into it while he just wanted to live a life that was now impossible for him

Re: Civil War
Could have turned himself in an explained everything. Then Cap could have worked to try and find the real bad guy. but nope! He had to go be a dumbass and hide, before then trying to bash in the faces of the guys who were gonna take him in, not once...but twice!

Re: Civil War
He couldnt remember everything at first and didnt know who to trust. No guy in his position just gonna turn himself in.

Re: Civil War
So no person who has no idea who they are, is gonna go and try and seek help ? Gotcha.

Re: Civil War
Not when hes been held captive by some military force and doesnt know that he can trust the government. His memory was in peices and he had a point. If hydra could infiltrate sheild he could have been turning himself in right to there hands again, he knew better snd decided stayinngout of the spotlight where he woudlnt cause any harm was better.

Re: Civil War
I think we can agree though, that Tony Stark got FUUUUUCKED over in this movie.
His best, and now only, friend is paralyzed from the waste down, and he blames himself. He is still dealing with PTSD, and has a massive guilt complex to go along with it. He lost Pepper, meaning he is basically alone in his private life.
He acknowledges that public opinion and government opinion are turning against the Avengers and tries to find a compromise so he can keep his team and put the leaders of the world and the public at ease.
This ends TERRIBLY, as all but two of the remaining Avengers decide to not only disagree with him, but decide they hate him now and that he's just a worthless asshole. (Though, I like how they get pissy at him for them being in prison, when they openly aided Cap in what they knew was law breaking. Did they just assume they were hero-ing because Cap was there? That's VERY misguided and dangerous)
Then Cap not only stubbornly rejects all of Tony's attempts at compromising, but Tony then is left to feel like Cap betrayed both him, AND his father, who Steve was friends with, by both hiding that Starks parents were killed, the identity of the killer, and then just straight up saying "FUCK YOU AND FUCK YOUR DEAD PARENTS" by so openly choosing Bucky that he MAY, briefly, have been willing to kill Tony Stark.
Then Cap sends the defeated Iron Man a letter that, frankly, just taunts him. (Again, he claims the Avengers are Tony's family....but every Avenger on Earth except Vision and War Machine HATES Tony's guts right now and want NOTHING to do with him. Hell, Black Widow threatened him in her last scene, because he dared tell her that betraying the United Nations by letting a known criminal go free will get her hunted.)
So yeah, that's how Tony Stark ends Civil War. A broken, guilty, depressed man, hated by almost all of his former allies, and now chained to the government, just for trying to do what he felt was the right thing.
Cap meanwhile, breaks a fuck ton of laws, gets people thrown in prison, and gets to come out looking and feeling like a hero.
(Yeah, sure, he dropped the shield, but the way he does it, the look on his face...I don't get a "he's right, I'm not a hero/I don't deserve this" vibe from that. I get a "Oh jesus Stark, shut the fuck up and take it, you big baby."
