Suzumi Ishikawa "The Tsunami" vs. Vida Fenix

Suzumi stood in the backstage area, ready to roll in her ring gear. She was feeling very confident after her upset victory over Panther Risako a few days prior and she had a match booked again already! She could fell it, she was back! Suzumi tugged down the back of her one piece swimsuit to make sure she had just the right amount of coverage. As her music began to play the energetic, cheery and flirty Suzumi made her way out, blowing kisses to everyone and strutting down the ramp like she owned the place. If one judged by the noise level of the crowd, it was easy to see why Suzumi was feeling confident.

She climbed the ring steps playfully swaying her hips, shaking her backside a bit for the crowd before climbing inside the ring and holding her arms high! Suzumi basked in all the fanfare taking in all the whistles, cheers, and shouts from the crowd! She confidently moved to a corner and leaned against the turnbuckle, wager to see this Vida Fenix girl she was slated to fight tonight. Suzumi was going to do everything she could to walk out victorious once more!

Vida rushed to the gorilla position while still pulling and tugging her ring gear into place. With short gusts of breath, Vida was trying to blow her hair out of her face. She felt a bit frazzled, a bit worried. Tonight, she was going it alone; her mentor and tag team partner, Santa Tigresa, wasn't going to even be in the arena for her match. And while Vida had faced singles competition before, tonight was something special: tonight, she was facing Suzumi Ishikawa, "the Tsumani," and forner name in Wrestle Angels. While Vida didn't follow Wrestle Angels quite as closely as she followed the scene in Mexico, she was still enough of a fangirl to understand why facing Ishikawa, tonight, should be putting butterflies in her tummy.

After what felt like an impossibly long walk through the gorilla position, Vida was given the signal to head out there. She burst onto the entrance ramp, raising a high peace symbol to the fans. Her run down to the ring carried a bit more energy than usual, working out her nerves with every high five to the fans and every excited skip, right up until Vida was at the ring apron itself. A quick run up the steps, a final wave to the fans, and Vida launched herself over the top rope and into the ring. The fans were loudly appreciative of the enthusiastic young woman, but their voices weren't registering. All Vida could focus on was the woman on the other side of the ring: Suzumi Ishikawa. "The Tsunami." The woman she was meant to give her everything, to taking down tonight. Respectfully, as the referee made her final check of Vida and her ring gear, Vida swallowed hard, and offered a nod of respect to her opponent. In a few moments, though, the bell would ring, and Vida would have to put all that deference behind her. With the absence of her mentor, tonight, Vida had to prove herself her own wrestler. She just had to forget she was doing so against a proven fighter like Suzumi.

Suzumi saw Vida and knew she likely had a strength advantage against the smaller woman. As the bell rang Suzumi moved forward to lock up with Vida! "We will totally see what ya got won't we?" Suzumi said as she locked up with Vida, trying to force her over towards a corner. "You won't like, disappoint me will ya?" Suzumi asked, continuing to try to maneuver Vida against a turnbuckle.

Suzumi wasn't off to the most technical of starts, however she did have a gameplan in place that would work nicely. At least, she thought it would work out nicely....

The second the bell rang, Vida found herself caught in a lock-up with the larger woman. Pressing hard against one another, Vida's body was already quivering with the effort of trying to resist Suzumi's advances. "I-I won't disappoint you," she said, through gritted teeth, "or anyone else out there, tonight! You-you're in for it!"

Despite that determination, though, Vida kept giving ground to the former Wrestle Angel. With a steady push, the Japanese woman forced Vida right intot he turnbuckle. Trapped, Vida grunted and moaned with effort, as she tried to twist her lithe body out of Suzumi's grip. Still, unless she delayed too long, the Japanese fighter would remain in control.

Suzumi was about to press Vida against the corner when the lithe woman managed to escape! Suzumi turned to face Vida and decided that the girl needed some softening up before she tried to string a few moves together! Suzumi swing her hips and brought her leg up, looking to send a fast kick right up to the side of Vida's head!

"You totally need to learn to hold still!" Suzumi said as her foot sailed at its target!

"Haha!" Vida laughed, her short hair bristling across her face as she managed to twist out of Suzumi's grip. "Bet you weren't exp-urrkk!" The quick grunt cut off the vibrant young latina's taunt, as Suzumi's boot was planted straight across the side of her head. Vida had managed to escape being trapped against the turnbuckle, but wasn't quite lucky enough to get past the Japanese veteran's stiff offense.

Rocking back on her heels for a moment, Vida then dropped hard onto her back. "Ooohh," she moaned, softly, chest rising and falling as she stared up at the lights. Suzumi had caught her flush with that one, and the rookie still wasn't used to taking hits full-on, like that. If making Vida hold still for a moment was what Suzumi watned, that was certainly what she was getting, now!

That worked nicely.  Suzumi was feeling good, like her momentum from before would carry over.  Indeed, Suzumi wasn't going to let anything stop her here tonight if she could help it!  "That's just the start Tokyo!  Lets get this show on the road!"

Suzumi gave the crowd a quick wave as she pulled Vida up by the arm and wrapped an arm around her head!  Suzumi let out a shout as she grabbed onto Vida's tights and began to attempt a snap suplex!

Vida began shaking the cobwebs out, as Suzumi made her promises to the fans. That opening shot had caught her hard, and the young latina was worried about what kind of long-term consequences she would suffer from eating such a stiff shot, so early on. The poor girl started picking herself up off the mat, getting onto wobbly legs, by the sime Suzumi got to hooking her for the snap suplex.

Like a shot, Vida's small but firm body was flipped over, swinging through the air in the grip of Suzumi's suplex! The crowd applauded the move, as Vida landed bum-first on the apron. "Aaahhh!" she groaned, rolling up onto her knees immediately. Vida nursed her lower back, trying to massage out the pain. "No, no!" she chided herself, grimacing in pain. "Fight back," she told herself, trying to push through the pain and muster up some kind of defense against Suzumi's deft assault.

Suzumi watched as Vida took the duplex and rolled over, getting up to her knees. Her eyes widened as she saw a golden opportunity! "Girl, you are making this way too easy..." Suzumi said quietly to herself. Momentum was in her favor, and she planned on rolling with it as much as she could!

The Tsunami quickly pounced, situating herself on Vida's back and trying to wrap her hands underneath the woman's chin! No one liked a camel clutch, except for the one locking it in! Given Vida's position on her knees Suzumi was unable to resist doing so when she was practically given the perfect setup for a favorite hold!

Vida wasn't entirely certain what was happening until Suzumi was right on top of her. And then, she panicked. The latina rookie's legs bucked and kicked violently, as she tried to squirm out of the Japanese veteran's grip and escape the hold, but it was difficult. Her slender torso kept bucking and writhing against Suzumi's thighs, but she could still feel Suzumi's hands gripping her under the chin to lock in the camel clutch.

In her thrashings, though, Vida realized that Suzumi was right. She was making this all too easy for her. "Ah!" she cried out, helplessly, as she felt Suzumi torque her spine back. Vida had talked herself out of the match almost as soon as the bell rang. She owed it to her fans, her mentor and herself to try harder than this! After a moment of her back contorting in the humbling hold, Vida began to work her arms over Suzumi's legs. It felt like it took forever, Vida throwing her arms forward again and again until she was able to clear the Tsunami's knees and get them loose. Then, Vida had a chance; sliding her body backward quickly, ducking between Suzumi's thighs, Vida snatched at her ankles. In one sharp movement, Vida tried to pdull herself backward, and unbalance the Japanese fighter enough to send her sprawling out onto her face!
