Angel's Live Interview and Q&A Session!

In a small interview room, deep within the backstage area of the AFW Arena, one Melodious Allegra Kanon was a complete wreck.

Tonight was a night that the redheaded interviewer and a small, handpicked production team had been preparing for, for weeks. Tonight was the night that she would be interviewing Angel, former AFW champion and all around badass, live on the air, broadcast and streamed to millions of TVs and computers and mobile devices all over the world! And then, afterwards? A live question and answer session with the fans!

It was going to be a huge night. It had been drilled into the head's of Kanon and her crew how important tonight was. The interview was meant to lead into a reality miniseries on the AFW network, one meant to relaunch Angel's career after her year off, so there was no room for errors. Everyone had to be at the top of their game. Even one mistake could ruin the entire night, so everything had to be perfect!

And that was why Kanon was freaking out.

She was new in the AFW. She had barely been hired for a month before she had been given this assignment! And to make matters worse? All of the cameramen seemed to be newer hires too! They were a team of complete rookies meant to handle one of the biggest stars the company had ever had!

Stop. Deep Breath. Calm down.

Kanon forced herself to stop pacing. She forced herself to close her eyes and inhale, then slowly exhale, repeating it once, and then twice, and then again, until she had calmed down.

She could do this. The rumor was that Angel herself had wanted a lesser experienced team for this project, and that she had handpicked which of the newer hires she would be working with. If she had handpicked Kanon out of all the other interviewers the company had, that must mean that she had seen something in the redhead. She could do this. She just needed to calm down.

She reached down, and slid her cell phone out of her pocket, turning on the camera and looking down at the screen, so she could use it like a mirror. She took a moment to adjust her glasses, and her purple blouse, then hit the home button, looking at the time.

Two minutes. Two minutes before this could get started.

She stepped over to the two seats sitting in the room, near the back wall, and inspected them, checking the area to make sure everything was still okay. There was a table between the two chairs with a pair of water bottles, and a big screen on the wall behind them. All the cameras were in place, and it looked like everything was ready.

With one more deep breath, she slid into one of the two seats, and put a big smile on her face, mentally hyping herself up for the interview. She looked over to one of the cameramen and gave him a nod, getting a thumbs' up in response. She waited patiently for the remainder of the time to pass by, glancing at the production assistant that was in the room as the last few seconds counted down.

"Going live in five...four...three...two..."

"Good eveeeeening, ladies and gentlemen!" Kanon beamed into the camera, sitting in one of two seats in the room with a wide, toothy smile on her face. "My name is Melodious Allegra Kanon, and I want to welcome everyone at home watching this on their TVs and everyone watching on their computers or their phones via the AFW Network to this very special event! Tonight, for the very first time, we are proud to be interviewing former AFW champion Angel, right here in this very room, on live TV!"

The monitor behind her lit up as she continued, starting to show short scenes from Angel's various matches over the years, playing scenes from some of the Latina's important victories and key matches. "She been away for quite some time now, but tonight marks the start of her big comeback, and tonight we'll be asking the big questions! Where has she been? What has she been doing? And what are her plans for the future?"

"And most importantly!" Kanon continued on, feeling more confident about the interview with each passing second. "Tonight, Angel will be answering your questions, sent in from email, twitter, and our website! That's right, this is your chance to ask everyone's favorite Spanish superstar whatever questions you can think of! So please, hit up the internet and let's hear your voice!"

She paused, just for a moment to catch her breath, then smiled again, gesturing towards the side of the interview room. "Let's stop waiting around!" She cried, dramatically waving her arm towards the door in the wall. "Let's get her out here! You know her, you love her, let's say hi to...Aaaaaaangel!"

At the sound of her name, the main cameraman in the room swung his camera to the door, which right on cue, swung open, and into the room stepped Angel, the Latina's head held high, looking as confident and proud as always. She was dressed completely different than anyone would have ever expected her to be dressed, her body clad in a tight-fitting green dress, her feet covered in a match set of heels. Not too high, but enough to be noticed.

Kanon stared in shock at Angel, as the Latina made her way across the room. The Latina looked stunning, like Kanon had never seen before. She had never met Angel in person, but the first impression the former champion was making was incredible, and as Angel moved towards her, the redheaded interviewer briefly forgot her words, unsure of what to say next.

What she didn't know, however, was that while Angel looked confident, on the inside the Latina was a nervous, uncomfortable wreck. It was one thing to stand in the middle of a wrestling ring and address an entire faceless crowd, but there was something about this interview that was getting to her. She was uncharacteristically nervous about it. It felt more personal than usual, more intimate, and there was a part of the Latina that was scared to death about the whole thing. It didn't help that the higher-ups she was answering to with this whole project had very, very firmly requested that she try to look good for the interview. That's why she was in the dress, and she hated wearing it. She didn't think it suited her at all, and she couldn't wait to get it back off after this was over.

But hell, she knew of at least one person that was going to get a kick out of it. Natasha had pressured her into buying the damn thing, so Angel just knew that once the bluenette watched this, her phone was going to be blown up with messages from the heiress claiming she was right about it.

Angel took a deep breath, masking it with a smile as she walked towards Kanon. She could tell the interviewer was a little flustered by her appearance, so she gave her a friendly smile and a sly wink, taking control of things as she took a seat in one of the two chairs in the room.

"Evening, chica," she began, her words friendly, and light, her voice inviting and calming. Kanon met her gaze and smiled back at her, taking a seat in the other chair, as Angel continued speaking.

"I think we have a lot to do tonight, so I think we should get this started, you know? No need to fancy introductions, I think everyone watching this knows who I am!"
