Round Two: Makoto Aihara vs. Reiko Hinomoto

"The following competition is the second round of the AFW tournament. introducing first, from Japan... The Zero Fighter, Reiko Hinomoto!"

Reiko heard the announcement and as "Look to the sky" started playing she appeared at the top of the ramp way, she had had only a short time to rest from her last match so felt a little tired but also hoped that the adrenaline would follow a lot easier this way.

She headed down the ramp, this time not so exuberant as the last time, the news that she'd be facing none other then Makoto Aihara her old rival from Rumble Roses had pleased her... But after looking at a recording of Makoto's match she felt a little concerned. Sure Makoto wouldn't be as tired as her because she won by forfeit, but what concerned her was the fact that when Makoto's opponent came out all bloodied, Makoto didn't show any compassion like she normally would have... That plus she had entered to the Black Belt Demon entrance tune...

Reiko reached the ring and climbed in through the middle ropes, swinging her arm loosely in the air as she waited for Makoto's appearance

Minutes seemed to pass after Reiko had come down to the ring and awaited the entrance of makoto Aihara. Did Reiko's neveres make it seem like time was passing slowly or was Makoto purposefully trying to get under her skin?

Finally the ring grew dark. The BBD version of the old Sakura folk song played and Makoto emerged, still wearing the white gi of a face on the outside, but the cold blood of her heelish nature on the inside.

Makoto smirked at her rival, Reiko and made her way down to the ring. Eventually she stood in the ring across from her Rose alumnus and fixed her with a predatory smile.

"Reiko..."

You could cut the tension with a knife.

Reiko didn't say anything for a long while, she had a frown on her face.

"Makoto.... Whats the meaning of this?" She questioned her, feeling annoyed that Makoto was just standing there with a smirk... She griped her fist tightly "That music is for the Black Belt Demon... I hoped that phase of your life, but your action in the first round makes me wonder. Your opponent had been bloodied and you didn't so much as bat an eyelash."

Makoto shrugged cracking her neck coldly as she did so.

"She was weak. She let her guard down and thus got hurt by whoever. Not my problem. She should be glad I didn't put her out of ehr misery while she lay there. Now are we going to fight or are you going to bore me with a elcture like Ms Spencer would."

"Perhaps you should take a few lectures from Ms. Spencer... You were a good person Makoto, I don't like what you are becoming..." In the background the ref called for the bell and it rung to mark the beginning of the match... Reiko mentally put herself on guard in case Makoto should feel the need to attack her immediately

Makoto gave Reiko an enigmatic smile and circled her casually. She didn't even seem to lift her arms to guard ehrself as if baiting Reiko to strike first.

Makoto's attitude was really rubbing Reiko up the wrong way, she moved forwards and tried to aggressively grab Makoto into a grapple with her fingerless gloved hands on the judo girl's shoulders.. Perhaps she could beat some sense into her old rival.

Makoto took the tie up but would immdeiately pivot, grabbing onto reiko's arms and then attempting to toss her over and onto the mat in a judo hip toss.

Reiko felt Makoto grab her arm, her annoyance clouded her thoughts for a moment and instead of trying to quickly reverse the situation, she tried to tense up and use brute strength to stop Makoto. But Makoto was very experienced in judo and so even as she stood as stiffly as she could, Reiko felt Makoto's butt press deep into her crotch and soon her feet left the mat as she was rolled over the top of the smaller Japanese girl, toppling down onto the mat on her back.

"Ugh!" Reiko let out as she came crashing down, she immediately started to roll away from Makoto though, trying to get towards the ropes so that she could use them to get up and hoping that Makoto wouldn't end up on top of her to capitalize on Reiko's mistake

Makoto would actually allow Reiko to get up and go for the ropes. It was almost like she was taking her time stalking her prey. As Reiko used the ropes to get to her feet, Makoto once she was close enough would try to start things out with two stiff slapping kicks to Reiko's left thigh to try and make her legs sting a bit.
