Animalistic Tendencies W/ Shido vs The United Kingdom Elite

John was wondering how he was going to deal with this situation, getting to the corner with his team was the end objective. But he was clipped in the leg right now, he knew it wasn't broken or anything. But getting up and walking was going to result in a solid limp for now, the artist knew he had at least had his other leg though. So it wasn't all bad, at least that was what he tried to tell himself.

Boy was he wrong, after rolling on his back out of instinct Shido had lept in the air and hit John with a standing moonsault. Which resulted in some spittle flying out of the artist's mouth, fuck he wasn't expecting that. Shades of sparring with Lucy flickered back in the mind, so he didn't respond to Shido's words. He wouldn't have anyway.

The ref got to one, but just before it was too John grunted and shoved Shido harshly off of him. Before trying to crawl backwards to the ropes and get some help from them in getting back up, one chance. One chance was all he needed, Shido wasn't making it easy for him though.

Shido got up immediately after being shoved aside. He was glad he got the pin and he knew he wouldn't be able to get a 3 count this early on, but that was ok. Things seemed to finally be going in his favor. Perhaps the fans  and his peers might be willing to believe in him at this point.

John seemed to need a second to recuperate before making a move. And this moment felt absolutely crucial to Shido. His mind began racing. "If I were him, I'd probably try to make a tag. Do I try to stop that from happening? Do I try to knock both the other two off the apron so that there's no one to tag? Do I just tag in my own allies? Gah! So many questions!"

Shido didn't know what the best course of action was. He tried to limit his hesitation so that he'd still have time to act. He gave a quick glance back to his corner. Sabre seemed stoic as always and Juniper seemed to be both excited and on edge at the same time.

The fan boy felt he was out of time and had to make a decision. John might have had a hurt leg but there was no telling exactly how quickly he could come at Shido or make a tag if he chose to. Shido would, very quickly and without warning, speed to UKE's corner and throw a drop kick aimed at Ryan! Shido couldn't tell how good or bad this notion was but he trusted his instincts and went with it!

John was wondering who he'd tag in once he got to the corner, probably Lucy. She had been rather different as of late, perhaps it was borne out of frustration at the light of her Brother's track record. Whatever the reason Lucy was seeming a bit more serious now, and truth be told the artist rather liked that.

But he didn't expect Shido's attack, and neither did Ryan. The drop kick hit Ryan in the chest before he had time to react, which earned a very hefty grunt from the young Brit and sent him off the apron. The paragon didn't bang his head on the apron or anything, but it did certainly knock him off for the moment. In a normal tag match that might have been a good move, but Shido made one major. Fatal error, Lucy was there too.

"FUCKER!" Lucy screamed out as she did her move, since Shido attacked her Brother here Ms Grange felt it fair game to attack the fanboy. Once he landed after the dropkick he was going to find that Lucy was going to crash down on him, she had lept over the top rope in the hopes of going for a leg drop as John made his way to the corner. Shido just kicked the hornet's nest, and the bees were pissed.

No one was expecting Shido to do that. Not Juniper. Not Sabre. Not Nick, who dropped his phone and watched in awe. Juniper knew that he was in trouble immediately after. He was in their corner, and he still had someone to deal with over there....

But what was really legal at this point? Shido kinda made things confusing for everyone. The ref included. She was trying to make sense of who was in and who was out. Suddenly, the crowd began from a dull roar to a screaming shout. Sabre had walked calmly across the ring in the chaotic confusion.

Reaching down, she would pull both Shido and Lucy apart, grunting in having to force them apart. The cave girl held both, one in each hand. Both of them were off of the ground. Sabre would drop Lucy and bring Shido back to their corner, lifting him iver the ropes.

"Stay here." The cave girl growls.

Shido didn't realize the consequences of what he had just done. Immediately after he had kicked Ryan, there seemed to be an uproar. He wanted to ascertain what was going on after he landed from the drop kick, but there would be no time. The next thing he perceived was a leg drop from above! Just then, he had realized that he made the mistake of thinking he'd be able to act before Lucy would, unaware that she had speed on her side as well.

He would grunt in pain and try to roll away before being snatched up. This herculean strength removing him from the ground felt familiar. He would look up to observe that Sabre had stepped in, seemingly sorting things out. "Thank you, Sabre. he'd smile and say before being hauled back to his corner.

He'd nod and accept Sabre's order to sit tight, hoping he did alright out there. After getting comfortable in the corner, he'd lean over the Juniper and ask "How'd I do, coach?"

Lucy loved that, got the runt. Shido might have been brave or stupid, Lucy didn't care. She made him pay, the British girl was thinking of this as just a taste of what she might put the guy through. She had nothing against Shido personally, it was just well.....she was sick and tired of getting the short end of the stick. And Ryan told her that anger was power, and she ought to unleash it against her opponents next time she was in the ring. Now was good a time as any, served up on a silver platter.

Shido tried to roll out, Lucy muttered under her breath with "No you don't you...." and attempted to stay on her. But Sabre moved in, John stayed in the ring too. And he was about to clonk her just because, she was there. The ref had stepped in and was trying to restore order, Ryan hissed with gritted teeth before he stood back up on the apron.

Lucy caught herself as Sabre dropped her, she considered trying to attack while the back of the enemy was turned. But just because Ms Grange was angry didn't mean she was stupid, in tag teaming Lucy tried to pick her spots. And Shido and Sabre were still in, the British girl huffed before getting on the apron and letting John tag her in. But still she knew that the damage had been done, Shido was the weak link of the enemy no matter how you sliced it.

The artist did so and patted Ryan on the back before saying "You alright boss?" John made sure he wasn't putting too much pressure on that leg, with enough time it would heal. Might even allow for a run in if it was needed.

Mr Knight nodded and said "A cheap shot, nothing more John. Lucy! Be wary." the Brit leaned in on the top rope. He didn't know really anything about Sabre, but her strength was apparent.

"Yeah yeah." Lucy muttered with a wave of her hand, she was angry. Angry that Sabre took the weak little chump away from her, no matter. This wasn't the same girl that was there last year, Lucy was used to taking on taller opponents. And she liked chopping them down, and there was the aforementioned pent up anger too. But Lucy waited, let the anger bide and fester rather than do what the idiot did.

Sabre was a woman of few words. Unless she was speaking to Cecilia Northman. But that was in Friction. Sabre was here in Tension. Where the lightly-clothed woman was an unknown. But she just displayed her strength by holding up Shido and Lucy both.

The cave woman grabbed Shido's hand to slap so she could ve tagged in. She would then turn to look at her new opponent through the eyeholes of her bone mask. Without words, she started to walk across the ring towards Lucy.

Juniper looks at Shido when he asked about his performance. "Youre more risky than I gave you credit for, thats for sure. But now, watch what being speedy DOESN'T give ya..."

Lucy knew that the opponent had impressive strength, but her opponents usually did. And truth be told, that fucking pissed her off. She looked at Ryan, who merely smiled and nodded. They had spoken of this in private, and the British paragon told her to put that to use. Directing it on allies or inwardly was ineffective he cited, the enemy was the most deserving off it.

Ms Grange frowned at Sabre, did this woman think she was impressing or scaring anyone? Looked like a pretty sad excuse for some sort of cosplaying if Lucy was asked, no matter. All that mattered was unleashing that anger and putting it to good use, the better to ensure victory for Britain's finest.

However Lucy was no fool, she had anger sure. But she was no Shido, she knew what her body was capable of. And Sabre certainly surpassed her in terms of strength, often Ms Grange would lunge into the fight. Trying to take the fight right to the enemy with an array of strikes, but this was a tag match. Discretion was needed, so with that Lucy bided her time and anger. She took a few steps forward and then quickly stepped back out, trying to goad Sabre into dancing in.

Often times before, Sabre would have charged into battle with no worries of getting hurt or caught. That was because she knew her enemy well much of the time. She had not heard of Lucy before. Maybe a mention of her here and there being in the seasonal tournaments...

Sabre would stand about center of the ring as she glares Lucy down. Watching her move in and out in an attempt to make her come to her. "You look stupid. Come face me like a real woman." She spat distastfully at the smaller opponent.

Lucy prepared herself for whatever Sabre might do, she looked like a powerhouse. Which was fine, the British girl sparred against stronger opponents on a regular basis. But once Lucy got the fight how she wanted it things would be just fine, not for the enemy of course but Lucy didn't care about this woman. Hadn't even heard of em till now, this match was a first meeting for quite a few folks in this ring.

Just because Sabre looked stupid didn't mean she was it seemed, given her remark and spitting at the British girl. Lucy had stood out of the range of it and scowled, meanwhile Ryan suddenly laughed. The British man then stated "Looking stupid? My how hypocritical eh Sis?" Ryan normally didn't make comments like this. But that disrespect towards Ms Grange in his mind warranted the snide remark.

In response Lucy simply raised her eyebrows, seemed like Sabre was going to let her come at her huh? Fine then, but Ms Grange was going to do something fancy. To show that if you pissed the bull off you got the horns. Lucy quickly took a running stride forward, she was the speedster of the UK Elite after all. In fact she'd quickly nip past Sabre and get to the ropes, Lucy quickly leaped off of the middle one and swung her right leg to the side as she turned around. In the hopes of clipping Sabre in the side of the head, it was a risky move. But the damage that it could cause even if caught was worth it in Lucy's mind.
