Takeichi Mori vs Dave Blake

Takeichi stretched lightly in the backstage area, awaiting the call for his entrance to the ring. He wore a pair of black trunks that showed his smooth, toned legs quite nicely along with a pair of black boots and knee pads. He had been unable to compete for a good while due to complications elsewhere in his life but with that out of the way the young man was ready to make a comeback, determined to get past the jobber label placed on him after previous matches against Crimson Iris and Ingrid Alexandersson. His opponent for his return match was another male, David "Obsidian" Blake or simply Dave Blake who bookers felt would make for an interesting match between the two. Takeichi in turn hoped that he and his opponent would put on a great match for the crowd that night as he finished his stretches.

As his music started up and he received the cue he nodded and stepped up, soon arriving at the top of the ramp, posing as the crowd cheered. His pretty looks had gained him quite a following of both male and female fans who were excited to see him make his return to the ring. He soon moved down the ramp, making sure to high five and shake hands with fans who wanted him to before arriving at the ring. Stepping between the ropes he raised a fist in the air and waved to the crowd before settling back to a turnbuckle, looking back towards the ramp to wait for his opponent, excitement to be back coursing through his veins.

At the start of his music, Dave Blake practically leaped out onto the stage, running with an energy most could not match. He was happy to be back again! Just for show, he made a couple of back flips, landing nimbly on his feet. Turning to the ring, he spotted Takeichi and slid into the ring, walking up to the man and thrusting out his hand for his traditional handshake.

"Hey hot stuff, good luck tonight! Not gonna go easy on you just cause you're good looking." he teased, giving him a wink. Without further comment, he went to his corner and stood ready for the bell. Looks like this match might be fun after all!

Takeichi watched as his opponent came down to the ring with plenty of energy. He was even impressed by the back flips that the other performed, impressed by his athleticism combined with that vibrant energy. Once he had slid into the ring and stuck a hand out for a shake, something Takeichi did with a smile, happy that his opponent seemed like an honorable person at least, giving him hope that this match would be good.

At his comments though he blinked, a bit of pink dusting his cheeks as he was surprised by the teasing. "Well... don't worry Dave-san I don't intend to hold back either." He responded before moving back to his own corner, his blush quickly fading. As the bell rang he moved up, aiming for a charge to try and take his opponent by surprise!

Just as the bell rang, Takeichi sprang from the corner, charging right at Dave! He had to give him credit, he had guts!

Waiting until the last moment, Dave charged in at his opponent, before going down for a slide. Aiming carefully, he grabbed at Takeichi's ankle as he slid by, aiming to trip up the young man as he passed.

Takeichi's eyes widened a bit as Dave seemed to have a similar plan with his own charge before the slightly older male dived down into a sliding kick. It landed home, nailing his ankle and forcing him to the mat as a result.

Biting back a curse he moved to try and get back to his feet but by being so focused on this he was definitely vulnerable for anything Dave might have planned next.

Dave had been working on some new moves over his break, and now he would put them to use. Picking himself up after the slide, Dave quickly stepped up on the turnbuckle, before flashing a smile at the crowd. Taking a breath, flipping backward through the air, landing in a cross body splash on his prone foe.

Takeichi grunted as he moved to push himself back to his feet. However as he turned his eyes widened as he saw Dave's next move and was unable to move out of the way, getting caught in the cross body splash, ending up on his back, staring up at the lights. The air had been driven out out of his lungs and he struggled to regain that lost air while laying underneath his opponent, sweat beginning to form on his lean form.

Looking down on his opponent, Dave smirked, grabbing Takeichi and pulling him to his feet, "No time for sleeping man! That part comes later!"

He stood behind his opponent, wrapping his arms around him to set up his next move. His hands wandered a bit along Takeichi's chest and sides before tightening around his waist. With a grunt, he lifted him up into the air before bringing him down with a slam onto the mat.

Takeichi groaned a bit as he was pulled to his feet before feeling the arms move around him from behind. His eyes widened and a blush formed as he felt the hands wander along his chest and sides before he felt the them tighten around his waist.

"I-I'm not going to make this easy!" He shouted as he was lifted and began trying to struggle against Dave to try and break his grip. If he succeeded he would move to turn and try and catch him in a bear hug. If not he would let out a shout of pain as he was slammed onto the mat in a suplex, doubled over and dazed enough to be vulnerable to what his opponent planned next.

Just as Dave was about to lift him up higher, Takichi surprised him with a reversal, turning the slam into a bear hug. Grunting as his air was being cut off, Dave managed to free his arms smacking his forearms against either side of his opponent's skull. If that got him loose, he would drive a knee into Takichi's stomach to double him over, followed up with a axe handle to the back.
