Tension World Title Match: Reira Kirishima (C) vs. Kozue Kaburagi

With Kozue's body shielding her from hitting the metal herself, Reira was unharmed, though the same couldn't be said for Kozue or a good near-dozen fans who had been sitting too close to the rail and were now suffering for it.

With bodies and food and cell phones and match programs everywhere, Reira got to her feet, standing atop the metal guardrail and raising her arms, letting out a primal yell to intimidate any and all who heard it.

As a final insult, she grabbed a cup of soda off the ground, pouring it down onto the fallen ninja, before backing up and rolling into the ring, content to let the referee count Kozue out!

[“Sorry, sorry.”] Kozue grumbled in well-spoken Japanese as she started to get back up, emerging from the pile of confused flesh she’d tumbled into. She hadn’t even managed to get to her feet before she felt something cold and fizzy pour over her back - Mountain Dew. No, worse - Diet Mountain Dew. Lovely.

She didn’t have to look over her shoulder to know what was the cause of it, but she did anyway, and she was right: there was Reira, skipping back to the ring. The referee started up the count again, too.

”Fucking bitch.” She muttered as she sat up, grinding her teeth down hard as the pain in her back roared. Kozue pushed past it, stood back up, and started hobbling over the barricade. ”Stumpy redheaded bitch with your stupid leotard thing and your silly-ass gloves…”

Kozue made her way to the ring just as the referee was reaching the seven count and rolled back in under the bottom rope. She tried to stand up, but she had the aching suspicion she wouldn’t be allowed to get very far.

Kozue's prediction would turn out to be true, as Reira barely let her roll into the lane before she was all over her, stomping down hard on her prone body, taking full advantage of having Kozue down.

Backing away, she raised her fist again and let out another yell. Her opponent down, the redhead gloated all she wanted. This was her element, what she did best.

Getting a devious idea, Reira grabbed the down ninja's leg, dragging her to the center of the ring, before intertwining her leg with Kozue's. Bending the leg at an awkward angle, she grabbed onto Kozue's toes, the very same toes she had stomped on twice already, and began spinning, twisting herself around Kozue's leg over and over, each twist further bending Kozue's leg and ankle at an awkward ankle, while squeezing and bending her toes, the crowd letting out an amazed yell as Reira brought back one of the classic and famous Japanese holds, the Spinning Toe Hold!

Kozue knew Reira was going to stomp her when she came in the ring. She did not think that the champion had miraculously developed a sense of sportsmanship in the past five seconds. However, knowing this ass-whipping was coming did nothing to mitigate the damage. It still mightily sucked.

Kozue flopped on the floor after every blow, as Reira hammered her into the canvas like a stubborn nail. That would have been bad enough, especially given how hard Reira’s weird boots were, but she didn't stop there. No, the champion had plans. Kozue was limp as Reira hauled her across the ring. She expected to be pinned or something. Maybe Reira would put her In a Boston Crab or a Camel Clutch, like just about everyone in the company liked to do on every other single match.

As it turned out, the champ was a wee bit more creative than the average Jane. Kozue wasn’t exactly sure what the name of the move was, but it hurt like blazes and it involved her twisting around her leg and goddamn she was sick of this bitch messing with her toes!

”Ah!” Another twist, screwing up her ankle. ”Shit!” And there was a particularly bad one. ”Grrah! You suck!” This hurt a lot more than she guessed when she saw it on TV.

Reira just smirked and kept her Spinning Toe Hold locked in tight, spinning and twisting the girls leg and ankle while torturing her toes.

"CMON! Give up you worthless ninja skank!"

she yelled, making sure to twist harder on the girls already damaged toes.

Kozue had an appropriate and mature response to Reira’s taunts. ”Go fuck yourself!”

It wasn’t a very imaginative comeback, and she couldn’t even get much force into the words when she was on her back, flopping around with every twist and tease that Reira made on her poor foot. It was the weirdest offense she’d ever encountered, but damn, it fucking worked. How did female wrestlers put up with this barefoot stuff back in the day?

But she wasn’t giving up. Even though it was getting worse by the second, Kozue held on and struggled, reaching out for the ropes with twitching fingers.

It may have taken her several slow and agonizing seconds to get there, but eventually Kozue made it to the ropes and caught hold of them, Reira cursing loudly as the referee announced the rope break.

Rather than just let go immediately, she held on tight, bending and twisting the girls leg and toes on final time as the ref girl started the DQ Count, admonishing Reira for not letting go.

At the count of "FOUR!", just a second away from being Disqualified, she let go, freeing Kozue from the terrible toe hold.

Kozue was going to get Reira back for all this goddamn toe abuse. She didn't know how yet, she wasn't sure when, but one way or the other, victory or defeat, the champ was going to pay for each and every toe she’d wrecked.

”Let go! Fuck off!” She writhed from side to side as Reira continued to crank the hold, stretching the count out to the very last nanosecond. When she did let go, it was a bit too late. The damage was done, and despite being released, Kozue was in sheer agony. Funny how such a little thing could hurt so much.

Kozue rolled over to her back and brought her leg up, groaning as she ran her fingers over the mangled mess that was her foot at the moment.

Reira backed up, being admonished by the ref girl for taking too long to break the hold, while Kozue writhed on the mat.

Waving her off, the redhead rubbed the still sore back of her head, before grabbing Kozue by her arm and pulling her up to her feet, forcing the girl to lean against the ropes with one hurt leg.

"Cmon bitch, hobble! See what you can do as a cripple!"

Reira was being her usual jackass self, but that was a legit question she just asked. Kozue’s style relied on mobility, agility, alacrity. What all could Kozue do when her foot was hurting and the simple act of standing hurt like crazy?

Well, for starters, she could punch. Good enough way to start as any.

Kozue got back up to her feet, using the ropes for support, then pushed off, stepped on her good foot, and threw a wild blow right at Reira’s face. Not likely to work, no, but it was worth it to try in her mind.
