Valyn vs. Astolfo

Standard Match: Win by pinfall or submission

It had been a few weeks since Valyn had found himself in a match. Though it was okay he had won his last one and was looking to add another victory under his belt today. Though truthfully win or lose it didn't really matter to him. He just enjoyed this life more than the one he had left behind a long time ago. He was backstage getting himself ready and focusing himself on his task at hand. He brushed the hair out of his face and let out a few breaths before nodding to himself in the mirror and headed towards the curtain his music starting to play across the arena.

He made his way onto the ramp the fans he had accumulated were cheering for him which definitely made him feel pretty good knowing that he was getting fans. He was dressed in his usual black slacks and white button up. He walked down the ram giving some fans some high fives and smiles as he made his way to the ring. He'd hop up onto it and slip inside with a large smile giving the crowd a wave. He headed towards his corner and leaned against it letting out a breath. He then looked towards the ramp waiting for his opponent to make their entrance.

It was that time again, time for Astolfo to do another match.  That being said, it had been a while since the pink hair wrestler had done a match.  He was actually looking forward to getting back into the ring once again.  He was going to be facing an opponent named Valyn, another guy.  It seemed that the higher ups enjoy putting Astolfo against either gender.  Then again, could he blame them?  It sort of was his thing, confusing his opponents on his gender.  So it made sense that they would get him to fight both males and females.

A knock was then heard on his door, as an AFW employee informed him it was time for his match.  Astolfo had been so lost in his thoughts about this match, he had lost track of time.  Nodding his head, he would then check his uniform to make sure everything was correct.  After making a few quick fixes, he would find that it was good and then made his way out of his locker room and towards the staging area.

The staff members would all exhale as they saw Astolfo appear, as he had just made it right on time.  Not even having a moment to catch his breath, his theme music would start to play and he quickly made his way out towards the ramp.  The audience would cheer as he had become a fan favorite.  He would start to wave back to them, giving some high fives as he made his way down the ring before quickly sliding bellow the bottom rope.

Astolfo would look at his opponent as he got up before making his way to the center of the ring.  “Greetings, I am Astolfo, a pleasure to meet you!” said the pink hair wrestler as he then offered his hand while smiling at Valyn.  It seemed his opponent had a few inches on him but then again Astolfo had defeated wrestlers that towered over him, so he wasn't that worried.  He was just hoping his opponent wasn't one of the dirty cheaters who enjoyed hurting their opponents.

Valyn looks at Astolfo as he offers his hand to him and smiles taking the hand and shaking it. "Nice to meet you Astolfo I am Valyn. Let's me and you have a good match okay?" He'd release the hand and step back towards his corner waiting for the bell to ring to signal the start of the match. He definitely wasn't one to take advantage of an opponents sportsmanship. He would look over his opponent who liked like a female though he wasn't completely sure of that fact.

As the bell rang he'd snap out of it though and start moving to the center of the ring. He'd raise his hands and put them up in a classic test of strength.

Astolfo would smile with delight as his opponent shook his hand and introduce himself.  He seemed like a nice guy and wanted a good match.  “Yes, let's have a good match!” said Astolfo as he nodded his head while his hand was shaken.  The two would then make his way back to his corner, waiting for the match to start.

Once the bell rang, he would move forward before seeing his opponent do the same and then raise his hands challenging Astolfo to a test of strength.  The pink hair wrestler would smirk as he decided to accept his opponent challenge.  He would then attempt to lock hands with his opponent, trying to overpower his opponent.

The two moved in towards each other and locked hands immediately starting to push each other trying to overpower one another. There wasn't a lot of height disparity or strength disparity between the two of them and they seemed to be about an even match up between the two of them. The crowd was excited to see what was hopefully going to be a fair and solid match up.

Gritting his teeth Valyn would surge to start pressing Astolfo back. His plan was simply to drive Astolfo back towards the rope. Once there if it all worked he'd sling him in an irish whip and charge at him as he came back aiming a hard clothesline at him.

The two wrestler had now locked hands and were now trying to overpower one another.  It seemed the two were about equal in strength with neither of them being able to get an advantage over the other.  The pink hair wrestler could hear the crowd chanting as they got excited to see who would take the lead first.  Astolfo then felt his opponent pressing forward even harder, causing him to take a few steps back before realizing he was at the ropes.  Yet that is suddenly when everything changed as his opponent Irish whip him into the ropes, sending him running.  As Astolfo hit the ropes he would come running back only to be knocked down by a clothesline.  Though the attack did hurt, it was still the start of the match and thus he would quickly get back up to his feet, ready to continue the match.

The clothesline connected right into his opponent sending them down hard into the mat the crowd cheering at such an explosive start. Though this was just the beginning and Astolfo was quickly moving back to his feet. Valyn moved in as his opponent got to his feet and went to lock up with him. Though trying to keep the advantage he had he would aim to bring his opponents head right into a tight side headlock.

Astolfo quickly got to his feet and saw his opponent trying to lock up with him again.  Still recovering from the clothesline, there was little he could do as he was then placed in a headlock but made sure to keep his chin down so that Valyn arms could not go around his neck.  “Gah!” yelp Astolfo as he tried to slide his head out while pushing on Valyn back in hopes that he would escape from the hold.

Catching Astolfo in the headlock he tried to keep a hold of his struggling opponent who was of course trying to pull his head out. Valyn thinking quickly though would let Astolfo push away from the headlock but would quickly move his hands to grab his opponents wrists and pull him straight into a hard kick to his gut to take the wind out of his sails even more.

Astolfo kept on pushing and it seemed to work as he managed to get free but just as things seemed to finally be going his way, he would find his wrists being grabbed before being pull forward and kick right in the gut.  “Gah!” yelled the pink hair wrestler as he then double over as he held his stomach, reeling from the brutal kick he had just taken.
