As the World Burns

Valkoinen pulled the trigger as soon as she saw the man. With the force that was assaulting the flavela, she knew she had to take the shot now as they began pacifying the chaos. What a mess. The shot was pulled, but the man went down from the rubber bullet and the White Death's own bullet grazed him instead of killing him.

Valkoinen narrowed her eyes and turned. She threw her rifle at Cass and walked over to the satchel she had brought. "We are with the going to have to be getting up close." She said coldly and flipped the safety off as she reached into the satchel. She pulled out a pair of "sunglasses," put them on and reached into another smaller satchel. She clutched a small grenade and then tossed the rest of the satchel to Cass. She drew her pistol and then looked back at her lover.

"Just be with the finishing up and then be with the covering." She said and opened the door. She pulled the pin on the grenade, tossed it outside and then turned her head as she waited for the flash.

Once she saw it, she kicked open the door and checked the hallway, making sure it was clear.

The soldier that dropped the UPP official and was a white haired kid who went by Wolf and he'd see a bullet streak by and ricochet off the favela walls behind him. He froze in fear before he looked up towards the Favela and spotted movement.

"Over there! IN THAT BUILDING" Wolf shouted in English over the intercom before he and the rest of the unit moved forth with Swan right behind them, sprinting past the chaos of the crowd on the streets below with no time to waste. Meanwhile, Blackbird Chopper began to circle around the ground unit to surround the building. The fevala buildings were so clumped together it was hard to pinpoint where The White Death was exactly.

<"Target is close!"> The boys shouted as they moved up to the building stopping just short of the door. Wolf, Fox and Hound moved into position, the red haired brothers, Fox and Hound on both sides of the door with Wolf crouched just barely off to the side.

"< Three... Two... One... >" He muttered before kicking down the door, about to proceed inside before a loud, ear busting BANG went off and a blinding light took over the white haired soldier's vision even with his mask on, as well as the poor civilians that were barreling for safety in the hallway, falling over eacother, screaming, ducking low and diving into their homes. "AUUGH! C-CONTACT!!" Cried Wolf as he opened fire with his automatic M4A1, firing a hellish spread of rubber bullets, rounds that were meant to cause pain and subdue the enemy even though series injuries were still possible!

One of the brothers tried to reach over and grab the back of Wolf's body armor and haul him out of the doorway before he was shot.

Cass was already set up at the window as Val flashbanged the hallway. "Don't worry i have your back." Cass would say before she would here the scream and the sudden sound of gun fire. "Shit!" was all Cass would say as she would pull away from the window and pull out a pistol that was strapped to her thigh. "Go Val, complete the mission. I will take care of this." Cass said as she held her pistol in one hand while she readied another flashbang in her free hand.

Valkoinen hit the deck when bullet fire zipped towards her. She rolled onto her side and pulled up her own gun and took aim, trying to hit the blinded boy before his friend could drag him off. She then scrambled as quickly as she could, and hopped to her feet.

With the boys blocking the stairs, Valkoinen jumped through the window and onto the porch. She then turned and began running towards the direction of her target. It wasn't wise to take the roofs, but she had no choice. She knew the helicopter wasn't going to open fire as long as these people were using rubber bullets, but it could still track her. As long as Cass could keep the boys from pincering her, Val was certain that she could finish the mission.

The Diamond Dog unit opened fire down the hallway while Valkoinen, the target dove and fired, hitting Wolf in the arm as he was pulled away.

"Shit! My arm! I'm hit!" Cried the soldier as he fell off to the side of the doorway while Hound and Fox contined to shoot down the hallway to provide supressive fire until they saw Val jump through the window and escape!

"TARGET IS ON THE MOVE!" Cried Hound as they saw Val leave their sights before he and Fox rushed the doorway, moving into the hallway to chase after their Finnish target!

"I got her... I see her!" Said Swan from outside of the building, having a clear shot with her very lethal light machine gun that could easily tear the woman apart. Swan's finger was on the trigger and she was ready to fire until her comm went crazy.

"No, Swan! This one's mine." Said The Major from the helicopter above as it began to descend for the roof tops close to Val... The Major didn't waste any time, she stood up from her seat, AK-47 strapped to her waist as before she broke into a sprint and leaped out the side door of the Blackhawk once the chopper began to approach The White Death. The woman with blonde hair and an eye patch practically flying through the air as she jumped out of the chopper, diving onto Val below.

As Val juped out the window Cass prepared herself to deal with her pursuers. Cass waited until she heard them start to move before tossing her flashbang out of the door. Cass would then wait until she heard it go off before swinging out of the door to fire on anyone who was out there. Cass was worried about Val but she knew that her lover could take care of herself and Cass knew she had to focus on the enemy in front of her.

Val heard the chopper approach, but there was not much she could do about it. She turned to look out of the corner of her eye as she leaped from one roof to another. If she was going to get gunned down, then so be it, but if she wasn't, and she was quick to think they wanted her alive, Valkoinen knew what she had to do.

Watching the blonde appear in the open area of the helicopter, Valkoinen pulled out her gun. She was still running, but the smoke had cleared from early and she could very clearly see the downed UPP officers now that the rabble had scattered.

She focused as best as she could while running and fired as many shots as she could at the target, hoping to hit it with a few bullets before the eyepatched girl tackled her to the roof and sent her gun skittering off to away from her.

"Ghhh!" Val said as she hit the deck with the blonde girl on top of her.

Fox & Hound, the two redheaded soldiers were blindly charging in after Valkoinen, the chaos of the favela prevented them from hearing Cass's voice and the potential to actually capture The White Death themselves made them sloppier than usual and they paid for it. They'd hear a click and the sound of metal bouncing for their eyes were flooded with a bright light, their ears filled with white noise, they would not see or hear the cold approach of death as Cass's bullets struck them one after the other, soundlessly crying out before they slumped into heaps onto the stony floors of the favela.

Wolf peeked out of the corner and saw his comrades fall and he screamed. "F-FOX AND HOUND ARE DOWN! FOX AND HOUND ARE DOWN! HOSTILE IN THE HALLWAY!" Screamed the kid as Swan, from a few meters out, would see her comrades fall, a great sorrow reaching taking over her as she rushed the small house with her light machine gun in tow.

"BASTAAARRDDSS!!!!" She screamed as she near blindly opened fire with the machine gun from her hip, letting the one-hundred round drum clip spray down the room, carefully firing over the bodies of her comrades while trying to tear down Cass with a hail of bullets that would turn her into swiss cheese.

The Major heard everything over the comm, but she didn't let it phase her. She held back her sorrow as she dropped from the air as bullets whizzed past her before she slammed herself into The White Death, sending her gun away after crashing atop of her with enough force to actually stun The Major upon landing.

"HNK!" Grunted the Major upon landing before she swallowed back some air in her lungs, looking down at her target, trying to grab her wrists and subdue her with a hammerlock.

"At last... We... Meet! Nnh! White Death!" She snarled as she tried to subdue her famous target, adrenaline going through her, trying to hurry, fearing the worst as she heard gunfire from Swan.

Cass watched as her two assailants dropped to the ground. Cass was about to go take care of the third one when she heard someone yelling behind her. "Shit!" was all Cass was able to say as she dropped to the floor just in time to avoid being turned into a fine red mist. However, Cass wasn't able to avoid all of the bullets as she took a bullet to her shoulder causing Cass to yell out in pain as she huddled close to the ground to avoid the rest of the barrage.

Valkoinen struggled under the weight of the major and tried to keep at least one arm free while she tried to wriggle out from underneath the girl. She tucked one arm under her body and tried to roll them into a different position as her arm was pulled back into a hammerlock position.
