Please Don't Be Mad

"I-I dont think theyre gonna leave, Lina. They seemed worried enough to fly out here. And now that theyre here, uh...." He was sorta falling apart here at the sudden situation he was thrown into. Lina was too. But she wasnt the one with her parents at the door.

"Do I have to? It's early and bet I still smell like last night...do I?" she asked him, trying to find reasons to stay where she is but also is a bit curious to how she is at this hour.  "Can you go deal with them?"

Jay couldnt help but crack a smile. It was the slackers nature that he liked about her. He crawls onto the bed and kissed her cheek. "Look, Ill them to come back in a few hours. By then, well be ready and you'll be awake." He got up to walk back towards the front door.

"And Lina? You smell fine."

He left the room and calls back a few minutes later. "Alright, we've got a couple hours."

Having the extra time didn't make Lina feel better about this since the older ladies would be returning and they'd still have to deal with them. "How and why would they get here so fast?" Lina was still trying to avoid dealing with this if she could. "Could they somehow predict this was going to happen and now they want to interrogate your girlfriend?" She then realizes what she said and paused for a couple of seconds before continue. "Well you know what we all did yesterday. Isn't this what that means now?"

She sighs and gets up. Sounding a bit annoyed she tells him without looking at him. "...I need a fuckin' shower. When I get done there better be food either ready or almost done for me before you get a turn." She didn't realize what she just said as she stepped into the bathroom, walking completely naked past him.

Jay looked at Lina with wide eyes when she said that. And all things considered... "Uh...yeah. I guess you are my uh...Girlfriend. But I dont think they came all this way on a hunch. Its been a few days since I talked to them, so they're probably just worried."

He rubbed the back of his head and sighed. She was going to shower and she wanted him to cook something. And Jay couldnt really cook, other than pasta...But that took too long.

A phone rang on Nick Solem's bed. And of course he'd pick it up. "Hello...?"

"Nick. Tell me how to cook eggs."

"Jay, its early o'clock. Why are you cooking eggs?"

The man forgot about the time change. "Early o'clock wont save you from this ass beating if you dont talk!" Eventually, when Lina got out of the shower, Jay had a nice hot plate of eggs, toast and hotcakes ready for her.

It took her a bit longer than normal as she was thinking of all that has happened so far. After she got out of the shower she found something casual to toss on and joined Jay in the kitchen. Good thing she wasn't in there for much longer and Jay was dealing with Nick on the phone so nothing was cold yet. She did look impressed with what she saw and somewhat jokingly asked "Where's the rest of it?" She mentions other common breakfast items she'd usually take with this and throws him off by adding in that sometimes she's also eat half a buffalo. Pats him on the back, assuring him it's alright. She glances at his pants and lightly pokes him on the upper part of one of his legs and tells him while staring at his covered crotch "Hmmmm, do I want some of that sausage too?...Maybe next time." She was clearly messing with him there before shooing him along.

Jay hung up the phone on Nick and smiles at Lina. He sets down the plate on a table for her. "Well, I figure that we'd go out and meet up with them somewhere to eat. Its...A bit messy in here, Lina. Wouldnt be a good first impression."

He turned his head to her when she poked his leg. What she said made his cheeks flush a faint pink. "A-Alright then..." Is all he said before going to the bathroom to shower up.

It didn't take long for her to finish up what was given to her, though by that time Jay was already gone. She looked around and noticed other than what Jay did to make the food for her things didn't seem too bad. Things could be a bit better but they could have been a lot worse too. Unless if in the main room there was something mess wise she forgot about.

Waiting for him she debated if she should clean up after Jay since he did cook for her. She did start but part of her wasn't liking that she was cleaning up after someone else. She could tell however it was starting to get to her so she flat out stopped.'...Easy there Lina...' she said to herself 'it's just dishes, nothing to brake shit over.'

Jay traveled around a lot. He was hosted by many. He came out of the bathroom, wearing long black jeans. He was barefoot and bare-chested. Jay strolled back into the kitchen. "Lina...You dont need to do that."

He gives her a peck on the cheek and takes the dishes from her hands so he could bring them to the sink and clean them. "Relax. You dont need to clean the mess Ive made."

"Hm? Oh hey Jay." She smile as he pecked her. "I know..." She steps back and lets him do them. "When are they coming back again?" She remembered him saying the two ladies would be back at some point, just couldn't recall when exactly. "Though explain to me again if you wouldn't mind...How come you have two mothers? Is one biological or are both adoptive or what's the deal? Just wondering what's up." She didn't really have a problem with whatever he might say, she just wanted to know how he came about and their actual relationship to him. If they're going be stopping by she might as well know that much.
