Liz shrugged as the girl made no reply. Everyone is nervous their first time in the ring, especially in front of an arena full of people. When the bell would at last sound she stalks out of her corner, arms raised to grapple. She knew better than to rush straight at a small, spry opponent... this time. Instead she circled in slowly, her bright blue eyes looked Alice over, probing her for weaknesses or hints how how she might fight.

As the match started, Alice tried to keeper distance, everytime she moved in a direction,Alice would move the other, trying to find a way to defeat her opponent. After a few short moments of thinking though, she realized that any sort of strikeing attempt and any fair grappleing attempt would be bound to fail. That being said, the only thing Alice could think of would be a quick takedown, if she got lucky, she might end up on top and have a chance at a fair fight there! With that thought in mind, Alice as nervous as ever, attempted to rush Liz in an attempt  to catch her off guard and take her to the mat.

Liz had been gradually trying to close the distance to the smaller girl, but for some reason her opponent seemed hesitant to let her come near. They circled about in a stalemate for several seconds before Alice charged at her in an all-to-predictable maneuver. Honestly, it was exactly what Liz was hoping she would do.
