Carry That Weight

"Ha, yeah?" Johnny asked, standing up. He looked over Juni, eyeing her muscles. "Well, get in there then!" Johnny chirped. Maybe if he got the break, and if Juni really could do another set then maybe he could go another round.

"You sure though, dude?" Johnny said, giving Juni a wink. "I bet you were tryin to show off a little bit, and junk."

"Hah! I don't need to show off! I know that my muscles are intimidating enough!" She smiled and gave friendly punch to Johnny's shoulders.

Juni layed down on the bench and waited for Johnny to put on the weights. She wait few seconds before lowering the weights and lift them again. First few reps were pretty easy and straight forward, but it got bit harder toward the end. Juni start struggling toward the end, but managed to pull out all 10 reps.

"Heh."

johnny shook his head at Juni's words, but smiled nonetheless. Maybe they would be intimidating to most, but Johnny dug them. He set the weights back to where she was and cheered her on as she did another set of reps. When she began slowing down, he verbally cheered her on and pumped his fist when she finished all the reps.

"Yeah, man." He said. "That's pretty awesome!" He then grabbed her a bottle of water and handed it off. "So, like, how long you been workin out and junk?" He asked. He was ready to go back in and prove himself, but he was a little curious about Juni and wanted to chat a bit. Not to mention to give him a few more moments to get ready for another set of reps.

Juni slowed down somewhere at half way from finishing the set of reps, but hearing Johnny cheering gave her extra motivation to keep on going. To not give up and lift two thirty six another ten times. She was pretty satisfied with what she achieved today; lifting her personal best twenty times.

"Heh, thanks." She smiled to him and grabed the water he offered. She took few gulps of water before puting it aside. "Like ten years i think. I started early - in primary school. And although i didn't do too much back than, it was enough that i fall in love with fitness. And i'm very proud on my muscles!" She said and flexed her biceps and abs.

She moved off the bench and tap it with her hand. "Come on big guy. Are you going to try again? Or maybe did another set with lower weight on the bar?" She smiled and walked toward the weights to load them up for Johnny.

Johnny's eyes focused on Juni's muscles as she flexed. They were nice and Johnny's cheeks flushed ever so slightly as he looked them over. "Cool, man." He said. "I've been in wrestlin my whole life. Ever since i was little my ma took me to matches she was workin. I started hittin the weights pretty early but really started gettin into it after my own career started takin off." He explained.

"But, like, man, if I was a little bigger, I'd try out fro strong man competitions and shit. That'd be sweet. Maybe if I wasn't a wrestler, i could do some real weightlifting." Johnny shrugged and nodded. "Yeah, I'll try it again." He said. "Put three-fourteen back on." He was eager. He wasn't going to lose this time.

As he leaned on the bench, he looked up at Juni. "So, the weightlifting is cool and junk, but why'd you get into wrestlin?" He asked.

"I wasn't thinking about becoming a weightlifter. It's certanly intriguing, but i love to fight, so i'm satisfied with gym when it comes to lifting." She responded with smile and loaded three houndred and fourteen pounds on the bar.

"Well, i always loved fighting. That was also one of the resouns why i start visiting fitness. My cousin Ralph knew about this and since he was already member of AFW, he called me if i want to try it out. And that's how i end up here." She shruged and smiled, watching his muscular body as he was laying on the bench and preparing to try lifting three fourteen.

She get in position to spot for Johnny when he was getting ready to another attempt. "Come on man, you got this now! I know you do!"

"Love the fight?" He asked and smiled. her story seemed a lot like most girls, but that was ok. Johnny could see she might be a bit rough, but he also thought she wasn't so bad. He definitely thought she might be fun to get to know a bit more, at least and he definitely wanted to see how she was in the ring.

However, he had more important things to focus on.

He gripped the bar and shakily let it drop to a place where it hovered just above his chest. With a huff, he slowly began to inch it upwards. his face turned beet red and his arms bulged as he slowly hefted the weights upwards. He was already feeling the burn, but he wasn't going to let himself get burned again. Not in front of Juni, at least.

"fffff! ffffffff! fffffff!" He breathed.

"Yeah and in school i often found myself in troubles because of fighting. But here is pretty nice - i can kick some asses without any consequences." She grined as Johnny lifted the bars for the first time. Juni finished the sentence and remained quiet, so Johnny could focus on lifting instead of her blabling. She isn't type of person, who would keep chating and talking with random guys. But Johnny was different - probably because of his polite approach and muscles of course.

Juni was looking at him as he start strugling a little. He was kinda cute, when his face turned red with those flexed biceps being cherry on the top of a cake.

"Come on man, don't give up! You can do it, i know you can!" Juni start encouraging him.

"Heeeh."

Johnny huffed as Juni spoke. He was just focused on the weights and her encouragement as he slowly pushed up the bar, inching it upward and upward. His arms began to tremble and he felt like it might not be enough again, but with a loud grunt, Johnny raised the bar and hefted it onto the bar.

"Hrrrrghhhhaaaahh!"

As he set it down, his arms dropped and he winced, panting as he rolled off the bench and onto his knees next to it. He was panting hard and lifted his head, smiling so Juni could see it, even though he didn't lift his head up enough to look her in the eye.

"Good job man!" Juni said and friendly punched his shoulder. "You'll manage to do 10 reps in no time - i'm sure about that." She said and sit on the bench when Johnny got off.

"So what about you - what's your story? How did you end up in here?" She asked and looked at his back.
