Domino vs. Ninjette: Ready, Steady, Go!

And now she had Domino stunned, laying flat on his back, vulnerable to all sorts of moves. If this had happened earlier on, she would’ve followed up with a variety of attacks - sentons, splashes, elbow drops, whatever her twisted little heart desired. Now, though, she was too winded. Too hurt. Too wrecked from the rigorous match. The moment she got free of the hold, all she could really do was drop to her knees and catch her breath. At first.

For now, her main concern was seeing if she could win this match - while a jawbreaker wasn’t exactly finishing move material, she’d rattled Domino’s cage quite a bit with the move. She saw potential, so she shuffled forward and seized it, hooking his leg and leaning on his chest for the pinfall. ”Come on…”

The referee dropped to her knees and started up a count along with the audience. ”1…!”

It had been a long match, and someone was due to drop. The audience was just waiting for that big finish, that move someone wouldn't be getting up from - not until at least three seconds passed. And when the jawbreaker hit, the collective wince and chorus of cheers signaled the rise in expectation. Even Domino expected her to try to capitalize on the moment! For as blinding as the pain was in his jaw, he may have had a chance to change things up!

But he feels the weight drop onto him - it isn't much weight, but it's enough to get the referee girl to begin slapping the mat. He feels his leg pulled into the air. Kozue's ponytail even gets in his face.

"2...!"

The audience is counting along.

Were it not for Domino's arms already being up around his head, he may not have managed in time. But thankfully, he manages to spare one hand from his chin to thrust into the air, pulling his shoulder up. The referee girl sits up on her knees and holds up two pairs of fingers. No fall!

Okay, so Kozue hadn’t gotten that pin. A little disappointing, but she wasn’t going to let it get to her.

”Come ooooooooooon!” Well, not too much.

In her defense, this match was beginning to push her to the limits, mentally and physically. She knew Domino was good and tough, but damn, the man just did not want to go down, and she was running low on moves and the energy to use them. She had to start wrapping this up.

She had some ideas on that front. But first, she needed to make sure he would stay down for a while.

”Okay, bud.” She sighed and sat up, planting her elbows on his chest. ”Lemme just…”

Kozue brought her leg up, then rammed her knee into his ribs a couple of times, driving the point home hard to soften him up.

Domino expected there to be a little respite; maybe Kozue would fume over his persistence. Maybe she'd shoot for something elaborate. What he finds instead is a pair of boney elbows digging into his firm chest quite uncomfortably. His eyes open - and then substantially widen as he realizes her intention.

"Agh!"

The first yelp in a short series, culminating in a sharper, "ANH!"

She'd been working his body over pretty hard this match. He might tease her about some latent desire to get her paws on him, but he's breathing too fast and the pain shooting through his ribs refuse to let him indulge in plucky mirth. The only priority he has is to writhe against his constraints, eyelids screwed shut.

Kozue gave him one final knee before she let up on the assault. Judging from the yelps, he was now properly tenderized. ”Better. Much better.”

She took a second to catch her breath, then another second to really catch it. Heart was beating fast. Body was aching. Every bone was practically begging her to end this, and she was glad to oblige them. Just a little more.

”Okay, almost there.” She grumbled and grabbed a handful of his, using it as a handhold to force Domino back to his feet. As soon as he was up, she reeled back and lit his chest on fire with a wild chop, coming down hard across the pecs with enough force to leave a blazing mark.

If anything could be said of Kozue, be it that she really likes to drill in damage. She seems to've chosen his torso to weather her onslaught, and in a way, Domino is appreciative of this. It'll heal faster and show less damage than, say, his face. He tends to get irate when people target his face. That's not to suggest he isn't getting there slowly already, as his slick hair is pulled and he's forced to raise to his feet, lest he lose a few locks. His hands grab for her wrists to lessen the strain, eyes open and mouth hung agape to pant.

A wrist breaks free and swings in, striking his flesh and resulting in a sharp, ringing *SPAK*! He bodily cringes, arms folding in to shield his battered pecs. "Ugh.. f-figures..," he stammers out. One eye remains shut from the strike, the other opening again to look at her. "..chicks always slap in fights."

He crinkles his nose at her to communicate that that was, in fact, a tease. Despite it all.

Hoping to take her by surprise, Domino spares his right arm to swing in a wide vertical, aiming to hammer his fist against her shoulder to stop her momentum. The blow is wild, more force than finesse.

”Oooooh.” Kozue shook her hand, getting a little feeling back in it as the echo was still making the rounds through the arena. ”Spicy.”

Cocky swagger aside, Kozue was beginning to run on fumes. She’d exhausted many of her best options, and was about to start digging into more simple strategies - like, for instance, smacking around Domino until the stubborn nutball just wouldn’t be able to get up anymore. Not the flashiest way to win a match, but it wasn’t like anybody paid her extra to make it pretty.

”Not a slap, dude.” She reeled back, winding up another one. ”Chop. Here’s the difference…”

Kozue was just about to demonstrate when Domino beat her to the punch in a literal fashion, throwing his fist hard into her shoulder. She let out a sharp cry of both surprise and pain, then spun around and fell to a knee, grasping it and reeling from the pain.

It worked..?

It worked!

Domino's eyes widen as his blow lands, knowing that had to suck to be on the receiving end. That teasing smile finds its way back onto his face. "No, that's the difference," he sasses. With her turned away and on a knee, she's presenting a tempting target! The only problem is: he's much in the same boat as her. This has been a rough match, and he doesn't feel like she's been holding back. He hadn't expected her to be such a ground'n'pound type! But the fatigue and strain running through his body certainly tells the tale. He has to capitalize on openings as soon as they come up.

Leaning in over her shoulder, Domino attempts to catch the spry girl around the middle, mashing her sweaty skin back against his. If he can find purchase, he yanks back, whipping her favorably lightweight body through the air to slam to the mat behind him in a German suplex! He may have attempted to hold the position in a bridging pin, but due to a mixture of slick skin and muscle fatigue, that isn't happening.

”Fuck’s sakes.” Kozue rattled her brain about as she she tried to get some sense back into her head. ”Okay, one more time.”

Despite being in a lot of pain, and being tired, and having a massive headache in her brain at the moment, Kozue was relatively confident that she could still finish this in her favor. Simple matter. Just had to stand up, and-

Kozue felt Domino’s arms wrap around her waist. ”Oh, shit.” He squeezed tight, pressing them together. ”Shit, shit-” She reached for the ropes as Domino jerked back, pulling her off her feet and sending her flying with a textbook German Suplex. Even as she soared, her arms were still stretched out, like she might magically stretch them and save herself. ”Shiiiiiiiiiiiii-”

Up Kozue went, flying through the air with the greastest of ease, her light form easily launched by Domino. Down Kozue went, as gravity brought her down hard right on her back, making for a hard crash. She rolled once after the impact, then another time, and came to a stop with her chest on the mat, next to the ropes.

Still. Unmoving, save for the steady rise and fall of her chest.

The momentum and gravity claims two victims with that one; Domino lands squarely on his shoulders and continues lying there, panting. The ring reverberates beneath him as Kozue lands, and he turns over onto his side to assess the damage.

Facedown Kozue. That's a nice perk.

He lifts to his hands and knees and crawls to her. Her placement near the ropes is noted, but screw it. He needs to take this opportunity while it's presented, and God willing, she'll behave and stay down long enough! With a hand on her shoulder, he rolls the girl onto her back and simply drops across her body, sleek abs pressing firmly across her trim stomach. One arm hooks back, gathering up her thigh, while his other forearm props him.

"Count it..!"
