Friction in MSG: Rebecca Tomko Vs. River Styx

There was a look of visible dismay on the referee's face when Rebecca kicked out and saved herself. This hadn't been the longest match in AFW, but it was one of the most violent ones, and the long it went on, the better the chances were that she would end up like so many other referees in a River Styx match. She'd done good so far, but she couldn't help but feel like she was pushing her luck.

Styx, on the other hand, took it much less maturely. "FUCK!"

With her knee still planted on Rebecca's chest, she reached down and grabbed her hair with one hand, then started unloading punches into her face with the other, unleashing her full rage on the giantess, madly shrieking after every blow. "Stay down!"

"...Fuck..." Rebecca groaned as she managed to get her shoulder up, her ribs were aching like hell and her chest was still straining under the 200lb weight, but River was being courteous enough that she wouldn't have to worry about those for much longer. No, getting her face pummeled by the bald brawler in a fit of psychotic rage was a much more pressing concern.

The Amazon's head snapped back and forth in River's grip as the brawler's fist tried to smash it's way through her skull, but the amazon wasn't completely helpless underneath the bald woman, her good arm reaching up to try and roll River off of her. It might not stop all the punches but it would be a start.

You couldn't really call what Styx was doing a ‘ground and pound’. That would imply some sort of technique or style, and there was none of that here. She was merely hitting Rebecca often and as brutally as she could, descending into a feral state where the only thing that mattered was destroying her titanic opponent. Rebecca was a great challenge, more than 99% of the AFW roster could ever hope to stand against, and in an hour or so Styx would be glad she got one of the roughest brawls she'd had in months out of her. But at the moment, her head was focused on only one thing: total destruction.

Rebecca’s arm took her by surprise and made her roll off, but it was only enough to force a temporary cease fire. Styx rolled off and grabbed the rope, using it for support to get back to her feet as quickly as she could. It was rough going, and she nearly slipped back down at the halfway point, but she made it up and found herself standing next to the fallen giantess.

”Had enough? Huh?” She planted her heel into Rebecca's battered shoulder with a forceful stomp. "Still thing I fucked up, Tomko?"

Rebecca barely got anywhere before River was back on top of her, grinding her heel down onto the already hurting shoulder "No..." the big amazon grunted "And yes... respectively." She shot back in an act of defiance and determination. The fallen giantess still trying to reach up to shove the bald brawler away and give her just a little more time to recover. She had an I dea brewing but it was going to hurt a lot, but then again, so was continuing to lay on her back and letting River just jump on her.

Gripping tight on River's ankle, Rebecca did what most would have thought was impossible from her position. She sat straight up, just glaring at the bald brawler.

Styx was all set to grind Rebecca's shoulder into a fine powder, when the titanic wrestler did something she - and most others, likely - didn't think possible from that position. She was sitting straight up, rising like she'd come out of the grave. Apparently, Rebecca tapped her energy from the same well thatShe let the surprise play across her face for a moment, before she erased and place it with sheer rage.

"Well, you're fucking wrong!" She spat back in Rebecca's face - literally, with actual spit - and threw a heavy haymaker of a punch right at her skull, trying to make her let go before she could do whatever it was that she was trying to do.

The crowd let out a big "Oooh!" As River's spit slapped Rebecca across the face, even in such a dominant position, there were certain things you just didn't do and spitting in the amazon's face was one of the big ones. Rebecca took River's heavy shot straight to the forehead, snapping her neck back, but the ebony giantess still kept hold on the bald brawler's boot and despite all the punishment she was taking, continued to rise.

At a time like this, Styx found herself wishing she had a bit more agility, so she could pull off moves like the enziguiri and escape out of a hold like this. She was tempted to try, too, but she knew what would happen: she'd fuck it up, leave herself open, and Rebecca would capitalize. Not smart.

Brute force was what she did best, and that was went she went too again. She clenched her fists together, nice and tight, raised her arm above her head, and jerked forward, bringing her arms down on Rebecca's head with a double axe handle to the face.

Finally, River's brute force broke through Rebecca's terminator level of determination, her double axe handle smashing the amazon back and forcing her to let go of the bald brawler's boot, her long black hair covering her face as she staggered away. However, as soon as River's boot hit the floor, Rebecca lurched forward to snap her good hand around River's throat once again, glaring into the bald brawler's eyes with the fury of a thousand suns.

Moving her bad arm to grab at River's waistband, the giantess hissed through gritted teeth as she began to lift, hoisting the bald brawler up into the air by her throat with only one way to go from there.

”Ha!” Styx enjoyed a triumphant laugh as her blow forced Rebecca back and made her let go. ”You-”

Whatever taunt she was getting ready to spit out got cut short, as she suddenly found it very difficult to breathe. Rebecca’s grip tightened around her throat, choking her with relentless fury. Styx’s eyes widened as she was hoisted into the air, the same way she herself had done to quite a few girls since she came to the AFW. She knew the position well - a chokeslam was coming, and it would suck.

Styx wasn’t out of tricks yet, though. As Rebecca lifted her up, she reached into her pocket and slid her fingers into the brass knuckles, her favorite weapon in a pinch. She whipped them out quick and brought them down hard, throwing a wild hook into Rebecca’s bad shoulder, trying to connect the unforgiving metal with her aching bones in the most brutal fashion possible.

This was one of the reasons that wrestling had a "Don't try this at home" label attached, the pressure that this was putting on Rebecca's bad arm was excruciating, but once she River was up... she wasn't getting up. The metal clad fist smacked into Rebecca's shoulder mid-lift, forcing the amazon to drop her ideas and River there and then just so she could nurse her arm while crying out "Motherfucker!" in pain and frustration.
