Friction in MSG: Kelly Conway (C) Vs. Taylor Parker

Taylor ground her teeth and bitterly glared up at Kelly before she was pushed down to the mat and kept there by Kelly's boot. The champ in her patriotic ring gear battering the NYC punk, the sight of her standing over Taylor, made quite a statement, and the crowd didn't hold back in voicing their displeasure.

Taylor was on her knees, her elbows forced to the side as she was forced down with her chest in the mat, her butt in the air and her reddened face turned to the side. She drew a breath, and with a ferocious growl she twisted her body and swatted Kelly's leg away.

"Rrrrrrrrrrraaagh!"

She pulled herself up, first to one knee as she slipped an arm between Kelly's legs and reached for her head with the other, then all the way up. She dug deep to scoop Kelly up from the mat for a body slam, but... She only got her up a couple inches before a stabbing pain in her shoulder stopped her. She growled in pain and staggered back, clutching her hurt shoulder.

Kelly was all smiles as she shoved Taylor face down into the mat with the aid of her boot where she belonged. Kelly just felt high right now. After being publicly humiliated by Taylor and most of the Friction Roster, it just felt so appropriate that she was shaming Taylor now.

Suddenly though, Taylor sprung back to life and Kelly's eye shot wide when the punk went for a scoop slam! Kelly gasped, growing horribly tense as hands went to grab Taylor's shoulders to hopefully prevent the slam from happening but the champ was already being lifted and the crowd roared in approval before Kelly felt her feet touch the ground yet again and Taylor simply staggered back, clutching her shoulder.

Kelly was off balance for a moment, looking at Taylor with confusion before she began to grin at the woman.

"A-Ah Ha! You actually had me going there!" Kelly exclaimed as she looked at Taylor with a sneer. "Let me show you how its done!" She exclaimed, throwing a punch towards Taylor's face to slam her fist across the jaw of her foe before, hastily putting an arm around her shoulder and between her legs, letting out a grunt of effort as she lifted Taylor, turned her and dropped her to the mat with a Scoop Slam of her own!

Taylor got her guard up just in time, letting Kelly's fist smack against her forearms. That much was automatic, and she had Gabbie Desjardin to thank, but she wasn't in the clear.

Kelly followed up and took Taylor off her feet, turned her over, and slammed her back down.

"Aaagh!"

She bounced up once, arching her back in pain, and then quickly rolled out under the bottom rope, not far from where Junko stood. She just needed a moment to get it together. The effects of the beating Kelly had been heaping on her, along with the overwhelming pressure of the match, the cacophony of the crowd... She just needed to clear her head.

Junko quickly rushed over to Taylor as she rolled out of the ring. She threw an arm around her and pressed their heads together.

"It's ok. Just take a few seconds to regroup, collect yourself and come up with a strategy once you get back in there. I know you've got this." Junko spoke with confidence but there was some worry in her tone too.

Immediately after slamming Taylor, Kelly brought up her hands as if expecting a loud cheer to accompany her. She was only given another hail of brutal boos.

She then kicked the air between her and Taylor when the punk rolled out from under the bottom ropes. Kelly's mouth dropped wide open as she smiled brightly before extending her hand out above herself.

"This is who you people cheer!?" Kelly barked to the crowd before looking on at Junko and Taylor and pointing an accusing finger at them while the ref counted Taylor on the outside.

"ONE!"

"Look at you! Always under the wing of Mommy Higurashi! Always hiding behind someone!" She spread out her arms and spun around slowly in her usual dramatic fashion.

"TWO!"

"Kelly Conway needs nobody!" She cried after a hearty laugh, stopping her slow spin in front of Taylor, eyeing the challenger with an eager grin, showing that she was having the time of her life.

Taylor nodded attentively toward Junko before her attention was pulled back up to the ring. She wiped a trace of blood off of the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand and scowled. As humiliating as it was to have Kelly running her mouth like that right in Taylor's hometown... it didn't matter. Chit chat didn't win matches.

Taylor rolled her shoulders and stretched her back and rubbed her red-gloved fists together, and while her eyes burned hotly at Kelly, the rest of her was relaxed.

"Kelly Conway's gonna need a doctor in a minute!" She barked up at the champ.

"THREE!"

"Hey Kelly, when you have the advantage, keep it. Know what I mean? Letting your opponent recover is amateur shit."

She rolled under the bottom rope and stood up in the ring.

Kelly was all smiles. All laughs and jokes... Until Taylor's words honestly ruffled her feathers. She felt offended. It reminded the champion of the days when she was a rookie and getting her ass kicked because she loved to taunt and now Taylor was making her feel it again. Kelly felt embarrassed, it made her wonder if she had learned anything in all these years.

"A-Amateur!?!" She spat, already lunging for Taylor when the punk stood up, trying to grab a rough handful of Taylor's hair and throw a knee up into her stomach.

Taylor staggered into the ring, bent at the waist when Kelly grabbed her by the hair. She took Kelly's knee on her stomach, but even as she dropped to one knee she wrapped her arms stubbornly around the leg.

She lifted Kelly's leg up as she stood, and wrapped an arm around the champs head, and with a feral scream she lifted her up for a capture suplex.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

She held her up high for a fleeting moment, and then fell back against the ropes, dumping Kelly unceremoniously out of the ring.

Kelly was furious. She felt like she was on top of the world and yet also back to being a rookie when Taylor called her out on her mistake. The champion had let her dominance get the best of her but now she was going to throttle Taylor until she could no longer move!

"UGN!" Grunted the champion as she drove her knee into Taylor's stomach with satisfying impact... But her eyes would widen when she realized her leg was stuck. She swallowed hard, expecting a leg screw but it never came, instead her head was wrapped up as she felt herself lifted! The crowd crying out in awe as Taylor gave that horrid scream, while Kelly clutched at Taylor.

"No! No! AUH!" The champion cried out as she was dumped right over the ropes and sent falling to the hard mat below! Hitting the padded concrete floor with a stiff crash that echoed the arena. "A-A-AnnnAhhhh!!" Cried the champion, eyes watery as her back arched up off the mat, nursing her lower back and side as she writhed around the mat before rolling onto her stomach, pounding her fists down onto the padded floor as she felt the horrid pain from the fall, coursing through her torso.

Taylor took a big breath after tossing Kelly out of the ring, but she didn't have a moment to spare. She waved in at herself with both hands as she took off toward the far side of the ring, motioning for the crowd to make some noise for her, something they were more than happy to do.

To the sound of a building cheer, Taylor rebounded off the ropes and was off in a full sprint toward Kelly. She dropped under the bottom ropes feet first as Kelly was getting to her up, with a baseball slide aimed at the red-white-and-blue bitch's face.
