AVQ: Rui Aozaki Vs. Etzlicoatl

As Etzli constricted around her body tighter and tighter, Rui gasped loudly in pain, forced to stop squirming lest things get worse. Trying hard to bear through the hold, the busty wrestler ignored the Latina's whispers, as she grunted and groaned, feeling her spine arced backwards. Then, as if by some miracle, Etzlicoatl let out a gasp and lessened her grip considerably, easing the pressure on Rui's body. Taking in a deep breath, she forced herself free with a burst of exertion, shoving away from her opponent and scrambling back towards the ropes, hoping to get a chance to recover.

"W-whew... I think you almost had me there, Etsu-chan..." she panted loudly, turning to face the dark-skinned girl while reaching backwards to grab the ropes in hopes of pulling herself back to her feet.

The worst part was that she had almost had it! Just a little further, and Etzlicoatl was sure she could've gotten a submission out of her nemesis. But these ribs, these cursed ribs that had been worked over...Rui's squirming had managed to ram a shoulder into them in just the right way, and now victory was as far away from her grasp as it'd ever been.

This development was a bitter taste in the Latina's mouth. Discouraged, and more importantly pissed off, she staggered back to her feet and heaved for breath from the exertion of the last minute or two (which, of course, caused her to wince accordingly).

"You earned a brief reprieve," Etzli answered; her tone was imperious but shaky as she clutched the side Rui had slammed into with one hand. "It won't save you."

"Geheheh... We'll see about that, Etsu-chan..." Rui chuckled, as a strained smirk crossed her face. Back on her feet, she leaned against the ropes, taking a moment to catch her breath and work out some of the lingering kinks in her back. Shaking out some of the stiffness in her arm and leg as well, the busty girl planned out her next move.

From the looks of it, Etzlicoatl was still feeling some of the pain from the body scissors, given the way she clutched her side. Luckily that probably limited the tricks the Latina could try pull on her, but at the same time the strain on Rui's back was probably going to prevent her from trying anything like a German Suplex again for the time being.

It wouldn't be good to let things stall out too long either, however. Leaning further back against the ropes, Rui then pushed off, trying to get a little momentum as she charged at Etzli with a running clothesline. "Yoooooshh! Here comes Rui-sama!"

They were at an impasse for the moment, and to be honest, Etzli was grateful of it. Her sides were aching, and having her body worked over had done a number on her stamina - in fact, she was clearly breathing with her mouth open, a sure sign of fatigue. The two girls took a much-needed moment to rest, and then Rui went on the offensive and it was on once more!

A series of unfortunate events coincided. Etzlicoatl was busy checking the damage to her ribs, seeing if it hurt to raise her arms (it did, a little bit, but not so much she couldn't hit the occasional suplex), and then, upon hearing Rui announcing her attack, she thought there was some kind of dropkick incoming from the way the other girl was running, and so she dodged to the side - directly into the clothesline.

Amid cheers and scattered shouts of 'lariatoh!' from the audience, she turned a full backflip from the impact and landed face-down on the mat, dizzy and thoroughly unaware of what'd just hit her.

Rui let out a huff as her arm trucked into Etzli even harder than she anticipated, practically flipping the girl head-over-heels and face-down onto the mat. Still riding her momentum, the busty wrestler traversed all the way to the opposite end, catching herself on the ropes. Taking a deep breath and pausing a moment to stretch her back a little, Rui turned around and started stumbling back towards her fallen foe.

Shoving Etzli over onto her back with her foot, Rui would then attempt to grab her leg and hook it with her arm. From there, she would lay down, semi-unintentionally placing her impressive breasts right in Etzli's face, and push down for a pin.

Splattered on the canvas as she was, Etzlicoatl spent a few seconds watching little feathered serpents fly in circles around her head. The lights were overwhelmingly bright and she wasn't quite sure which way was up until Rui rolled her over and dropped down for the pin.

Ironically, it was the lack of air that revived her. Etzli squirmed weakly, letting out a frantic "mrrrgh!!!" into Rui's generous chest, as her mind raced to figure out what'd just happened, and then the ref girl's hand hitting the mat behind her made everything snap into place. Oh, hell!

"Two!"

Most of their combined weight was on her shoulders, and it was a miracle that she managed to even twist one away, let alone get an arm up in time - but with a jerk that felt like it wrenched every muscle in her back, Etzlicoatl just barely popped her right shoulder up at the 2.999 mark. It was a literal fraction of a second away from being finished.

Not that she was out of the woods yet. She was still dazed from being nearly turned inside out with a clothesline, and to be truthful, not quite sure yet if the arena had turned upside down or if she'd just been hit particularly hard.

As Etzli managed to push her way out of the pin at the last moment, Rui let out a small pouting sound as she retreated. Climbing back to her feet, she winced visibly as a small jolt of pain shot down her back. "Ghhhhh..."

Part of her wanted to stop and try to recover more, but Rui knew the longer things dragged out the worse it might get. Grunting softly as she endured the pain, the busty wrestler reached down to grab Etzli by the arm to yank her up to her feet. Assuming she got that far, Rui would attempt to tuck her foe into a front facelock, while also grabbing the waist of her outfit. If she could complete that, the bluish-green haired wrestler would heave the dark-skinned Latina into the air, groaning loudly from the exertion, before trying to throw her back down to the mat in a suplex slam.

The Solar Hummingbird was on her last legs. It'd taken basically everything she had to kick out of the pinfall, and if Etzlicoatl didn't mount some kind of offense soon, the match was over. Sweaty, panting for breath, and aching all over, the Nahuatl wrestler was frantically trying to come up with some kind of scenario where she could feasibly take advantage despite her current state when Rui dragged her upright and locked her into a front facelock. At first, she was fairly sure she was about to be DDT'd into oblivion, but then the other girl grasped at her waist and braced herself, and Etzli realized a vertical suplex was coming.

A vertical suplex. Wait. She could counter those.

She pushed off the ground, giving Rui a little more momentum on the suplex than she probably expected, then just as the move reached its apex, Etzlicoatl pivoted in place and dropped down behind her adversary. Quick as a flash, her arm shot out and encircled Rui's throat in a sleeper hold, but she wasn't looking to wear the other girl down - instead, Etzlicoatl heaved backwards and tried to throw her opponent with a suplex of her own - her signature sleeper suplex, the Arrow From The Sun. She was very, very tired now, and there was no guarantee she'd be able to hit the move just right, but if she didn't try she'd definitely lose, so it wasn't much of a choice at all.

"HUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuhhh...?" Rui wheezed out she heaved Etzli upwards, but then... too far? Thrown off balance, the busty wrestler staggered back a few steps before dropping her foe, who landed safely behind her. Just barely regaining her footing, Rui didn't have any time to turn around before Etzlicoatl grabbed her around the neck and slammed her backwards down into the mat.

"Gaaaaaaah!" Rui cried out in pain, writhing about while she clutched her once again aching back.

The feeling of the suplex connecting was about as satisfying as it got. It'd been a desperation maneuver - a counter born of panic and necessity - and as Rui bounced off the mat, Etzlicoatl's heart leaped in her chest. She didn't have a lot left in the tank, but this might be just enough to do it.

"Be...be silent," she heaved between desperate breaths, dragging herself forward on her forearms, "and...witness the glory of the...the Solar Hummingbird..."

That was about as much villainous speech as she had in her. Etzlicoatl draped an arm over Rui's shoulders and went in for the pin, trying to lean her weight onto the other girl's chest. It wasn't exactly the ideal pin, but until she got a few seconds to recuperate it was all she was going to manage.
