When Roman Reigns does a spear it feels like he stops himself upon impact, like he hit a brick wall in mid air to help the other guy land flat on his back.

Goldberg's looks like he could spear two guys at once and keep on going...and I'm not saying that cause I'm an Attitude guy >_>

Honestly, I watched a Roman Reigns spear video to compare, and I can't tell the difference. They both look like they hurt like hell. :-/

Goldberg went straight up full impact on his spears with no consideration of his opponents body, and since he was an NFL football player, he had some great tackling skills to use for the Spear.

Reigns does the Wrestling version of a spear, meant to imitate a tackle while still being safe for both wrestlers

Now, I will say, that one spear I never bought was Edge's. Maybe as a normal move, but when he did it, it never struck me as something he should be using to finish people with.

Edge's spear has always seemed lacking in the impact department, and it because of that it never seemed believable as a finisher. But he's done certain spots with it that he'll always get credit for.

I'm glad that ONE GUY on the WWE writers staff played John Cena's Sexy High School Adventure. That Cena theme redux.
