i have to say, though, i am starting to get worried about Eva Marie. They seem to be building her up as a challenger to Bayley, and I very much dread that match.

Eva's match tonight was looking pretty decent - the fans were much more down for her than they were in Brooklyn, and I think I heard a few of them actually chanting FOR her, which is a big surprise. Things looked good...

...and then she didn't kick out in time for a near fall, the referee clearly messed up the last count to save her, and the crowd IMMEDIATELY lost it. To be fair, they might be doing a crooked ref thing, which would be kind of neat. If not, though...

The ref SHOULD have called the three. It is NOT on the referee. She didn't even TRY to kick out. She deserved every boo she got.

On the other hand, that other girl looked pretty good o.O They should do some more with her.

Eva Marie still looks like she was forced into wrestling and she's all style and no substance.

On another note. Watched Wrestlemania IX today. It was worth a chuckle and actually pretty entertaining. Until Mr. Fuji betrayed Yokozuna at the end and threw salt in his face for no reason. ;O

Otherwise, the show was pretty good tonight. I'm legit excited for this tournament. I thought Rhyno and Corbin worked pretty well as a tag team, and the Acension seem much slicker here than they do in the main roster. Also, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe teaming up is full of win.

One thing that did tick me off about NXT last night was that they only showed the brackets once, that I recall, and it was for like, a half second.

Lot of potential fun matches on here. I'd love to see Finn and Joe take on Big Cass and Enzo, and I hope there's some setup for a possible Finn/Joe match in there, somewhere.

Not sure how I feel about them renaming her 'Asuka'. Guess it's not the worst thing in the world, but I thought 'Kanna' was just fine.

Obviously they're going after the Evangelion fans.
