WWE is still the reason USA is even a thing. "Steadily falling ratings" was also in there with "highest rated shows on cable."

I'm pretty sure ratings have declined across the board because, you know, the Internet exists...

To be absolutely sure how WWE has fared in general, you probably have to compare it to other long running stuff like the bold and the beautiful. We have a soap opera of 20+ years here too, and it brings constant ratings year over year. I also know that it can´t touch american football who has probably not lost many viewers, although I always wonder why college american football is so popular in America, nobody gives a flying fuck about college soccer here.
