Hibiki Izayoi vs. The Won Sisters - Rage of the Dragon

The one upside to being laid out on the floor, Cindy thought, was that the Dragon would at least give her some reprieve before she once again went on a rampage. In hindsight, a foolish notion.

She flopped about like a stringless marionette as Hibiki flipped her over. Still conscious, for better or worse, but unable to bring any life to her limbs. Once more, she was dimly aware of her surroundings. She could hear the referee's counting. She was being lifted up, held high in the air, moving forward. She could remember that this was a very, very bad thing, but she couldn't process exactly why at the moment.

"Guh..." She shook her head as spittle dripped down onto Hibiki from her gaped mouth. "What?" Cindy blinked. "What is..."

Hibiki's face was a mask, showing no emotion, no sign of even a smile or a sneer as she and Cindy moved towards the ring steps. There were boos coming from the crowd, of course, a great majority of the audience hating the Dragon for what she was about to do. There were also cheers, though, a vocal majority screaming at Hibiki, urging her to slam Cindy down, lusting over the violence that was unfolding before them.

And of course, Hibiki did just that, showing the smaller of the Won Sisters not even an iota of mercy.

She swung Cindy down with the powerbomb, letting out a deep yell at the same down. Down came the twin, straight towards the steps at the corner of the ring, the former Wrestle Angel fully intent on breaking the woman's body over the cold, hard steel!

Cindy knew what was about to happen. It wasn't just the obviousness and simplicity of the move and setup - Hibiki was about to do what Cindy herself would be doing if the positions were reversed. That was the horror of it, really. The powerbomb gave her enough time to realize her fate, but not quite enough to actually do anything about it. Not much besides flinching, anyway.

Cindy’s body hit the steel steps, though ‘hit’ was far too gentle a word to really convey the effect. It was like a meteor impact: sudden, loud, startling, with devastating effects that left nothing before ruin in their aftermath. Cindy belted out a long, wailing shriek that went on for about four seconds before she ran out of breath. Four long seconds of flopping on the floor, kicking, rolling, stretching, flailing around like a possessed women as she was introduced to an entirely new level of pain

A level of pain that seemed to exclusively belong to Hibiki Izayoi, and the Won Sisters had stepped into it of their own free will.

Hibiki nodded in approval of her own work as she watched Cindy flopping around on the floor, as she listened to the woman's shrill shrieking. This match was done, she decided. Cindy was dead and her sister wasn't in much better shape. She could end the fight at any time she wanted, and she was fairly sure that everyone - her, the referee, the sisters, and the audience - were well aware of that fact.

The thing was, though, was that she wasn't ready to end the match. Not until she was sure that the twins had learned their lesson.

She heard the referee yelling at them to get back into the ring, and the Purple Dragon decided to obey. She had no problems with that, after all. She leaned down, grabbing Cindy by her arm, and violently jerked her back to her feet. Then, she yanked her towards the ring, going to throw her under the ropes and back inside, before soon slithering back in herself.

Cindy was not quite dead, though you would be forgiven for assuming that, at time. Her taunts and jeers, such a common annoyance to the paying customers, had ceased. They were replaced with low moans and groans, and fevered breaths as the eldest Won sibling sought to regain her poise.

She never found it. Before she had a chance, the Dragon - relentless, cruel, keen - was on her once more, forcing her to stand on wobbling legs and tossing her back into the ring. She rolled once, twice, three times, before she stopped near the center. As fate would have it, she was in a perfect position to view Bridget as she tried to recover from the brutal powerbomb she’d taken only a few moments ago. She was grabbing the turnbuckle pads, struggling to use them for support, but she couldn’t quite manage it.

The two of them exchanged looks.

Bridget’s stern stare told Cindy: ‘This is your fault.’

Cindy’s apologetic frown told Bridget: ‘I know.’

Hibiki slide under the ropes, and climbed up to her feet, slowly but surely. It was obvious she wasn't in a hurry, and that she was taking her time, no doubt wanting to build the anticipation of fear in the minds of the twins.

She looked up just in time to see Bridget struggling to get back up, and for the first time, she allowed herself to smirk, just a tiny bit. She stepped towards Cindy, standing over the twin's body, and spread her arms wide, staring icy daggers directly towards Bridget.

"You have one more chance," she called out, her voice hard-edged and filled with it's usual malicious tone. "You have one more chance to stop me before I end your sister and make her truly regret her mistakes tonight. You have one more chance to stop me before I finish her off. I will warn you though...if you cannot stop me, and you will not, then you will suffer an even worse fate then she will..."

She stood there, arm stretched wide, and didn't move, practically screaming for the hurting Bridget to come after her.

This was a conundrum, and the mental struggle was clear on Bridget’s face. On one hand, she knew Hibiki would make good on her threats if she remained motionless. In truth, she was likely to do it either way, but at least there would be some chance if Bridget acted. On another hand, however, she was not particularly sure what to attack Hibiki with. She had not enjoyed success when her strength was full, and now that it waned…

No. She was not some whimpering little waif to be destroyed. She was a Won, one of the few and proud. To the end, she would fight.

Bridget’s face hardened, she gripped the ropes tight, and then she came out of the corner with all the speed her aching back would allow. She ducked down and jumped forward the moment she came in range, throwing all of her body weight into a sloppy, desperate spear.

Respect. That was the main thought going through Hibiki's mind as Bridget launched herself out of the corner towards the Dragon. Despite her hatred for every single one of her fellow Wrestle Angels, Bridget had done nothing but earn Hibiki's grudging respect in this match. She almost, almost hated that she had to destroy the twin, but a promise was a promise, and Hibiki didn't break her promises.

As Bridget jumped towards Hibiki, the Dragon simply slid out out of the way, trying to maneuver behind the twin as she jumped towards her. The spear was quite sloppy, and Bridget was obviously hurting, and thus Hibiki could tell there wasn't as much speed and power in the attack as there should have been.

She dodged aside, and waited for Bridget to hit the mat, before stepping back in towards her. She leaned down, moving to slide her arms around the twin's waist so that she could pull her back up to her feet, leaning in closer to her to whisper softly into her ear.

"Nice try, but it was nearly good enough..."

With those words said, Hibiki released a deep roar from within, and started to lift Bridget off of her feet. She was trying to mimic her earlier actions, trying to toss Bridget up and over with a huge German suplex, just like she had done to her sister earlier in the match!

Many in the crowd thought that Bridget was surprised when her spear missed by a great margin. She was not, truly - Hibiki was fresh and surprisingly agile for a woman with her size and strength.  Withstanding such a worthless tackle would have been simple enough, but the Purple Dragon was too experienced for even that.

There was no surprise on Bridget's face...only fear. Fear when she knew her opponent was behind her, fear when felt those arms wrap around her waist, fear when was effortlessly pulled upwards into what promised to be one of the most brutal German Suplexes of all times. ”No, wait-”

The larger sister hit for a louder impact, crashing into the mat on her shoulders. She flopped backwards, arms and legs flailing all over, before she landed on her chest, near the very turnbuckle she’d just finished escaping from.

Judging from the way Cindy muttered and weakly moved her arms as she lay there, it would seem she was still conscious. How long that would last was anyone’s guess.

Bridget hit the mat, and as soon as she did, Hibiki turned her attention back towards Cindy. Within seconds, she had stepped back towards the woman, glaring down at her with the coldest look imaginable upon her face.

No more playing around, she decided, as she leaned down, grabbing Cindy by her arm to force her back up to her feet, one last time. She yanked her up, and as soon as the twin was standing, her hands lashed out, one grabbing Cindy by the shoulder, the other reaching for her thigh.

Almost effortlessly, the mighty Hibiki would move to lift Cindy off of her feet and into the air, holding her aloft for a mere moment before dropping down to one knee, and in that same instant, she slammed the twin downwards, trying to slam her onto her leg with her infamous Angel Breaker backbreaker!
