Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
There was no getting around it, Ayaka had to escape. If this was a video game right now, her stamina bar would be flashing red and critical. The lock hurt, but the pain she could work through. What she couldn't do was get back all the energy it took from her. Kimmy was playing a different game to Ayaka and currently her game was winning. If this kept up, this match was going to be short and embarrassing. However one thing that Ayaka said was true; she was never going to tap. kimmy could pin, but tap her out she would not. Mainly because she knew two things: Firstly, Ayaka was a tough nut, and secondly, Kimmy wouldn't apply enough pressure on the holds to actually break something. So tapping out was just a test of endurance. And Ayaka could do endurance.
Escaping the hold however was her priority now, punching the ankle weakened the hold, but didn't get her out of it. And while Ayaka would never show it, her hand hurt from the contact of the hard bone. She was pretty sure she had internally bruised one of her knuckles or fingers. For Ayaka it was now or never. If she didn't escape now, she never was going to. However her lack of wrestling training meant she got stuck when it came to figuring out how to escape. Like Kimmy had pointed out, Ayaka was a brawler. This wasn't her thing. Punching someone to death and wielding a baseball bat. That was her thing.
With the now or never mentality in her head, Ayaka made her bid to escape. She tugged her legs back, trying to bring them closer to her body and lift them as she did, almost as if she was trying to lift her legs up and slide Kimmy off the them. If it worked, and it was a big if, then Ayaka would roll away twice, putting a ring of distance between them. Now began the painful process of getting up. It started by getting onto her hands and knees. That worked, she also kept a close eye on Kimmy. She knew that Kimmy would recover quicker, so she had to be on her feet fast. Not even thinking of how painful it would be, and using her strongest leg first, Ayaka climbed to her feet, using the ropes as support. She got up, granted it was slow because of holding onto the ropes and only using one leg. But she got up.
But now was the moment of truth. It was time to see if she could walk on her bad leg. She had no idea how much Kimmy had fucked it up, but guessing from the throbbing pain still pulsating through, it had to be pretty bad. Putting her bad leg down and putting weight on it, Ayaka almost screamed out immediately. "ARGHHHHH!". The leg couldn't take the weight, right away she fell back onto her knees. This was bad. Very bad. She was going to be forced onto the mat now. and the mat was Kimmy's domain not hers. It looked like she was going to have to fight from a disadvantage now.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
Kimmy had had Ayaka trapped in this leglock for going on two minutes now, and had been putting on close to maximum pressure for most of that time. The blonde New Yorker did stop short of breaking anything in Ayaka's leg, of course—if she was the sort of wrestler who couldn't keep herself from snapping her opponent's leg in half, then she would have never gotten an opportunity to compete here at AFW, or, at least, she would have been sent over to the Hardcore division.
Ayaka was continuing to batter Kimmy, too, though, and even though the New York girl had a definite advantage, she was feeling the pain of her opponent's blows, her gut aching after several hard punches, and now her ankle flaring up again with the impact of Ayaka's knuckles against it. All of that pain was enough to distract Kimmy from her application of the hold, allowing it to loosen for just long enough that Ayaka might take advantage and make good her escape. Before Kimmy could reestablish the hold, Ayaka lifted herself up, raising Kimmy's legs while Kimmy's torso was still on the canvas. Kimmy slid off, and Ayaka rolled away.
"Damn it!" Kimmy would hiss, as her opponent managed to roll across the ring to the ropes to put some distance in between them. The Brooklyn Bruiser would roll over onto her hands and knees, paused for just a moment to catch her breath, then pushed herself all the way up onto her feet. She winced as she put some weight on her ankle. It was throbbing, and didn't exactly feel very stable underneath her. But she could walk. She could probably even run. And the pain would die down soon enough.
Ayaka's pain would surely die down soon, too, but right now, her leg apparently pained her so badly that she could not remain on her feet. Kimmy, then, had the advantage, and needed to act on it. With Ayaka down on her knees, Kimmy had some options. She would circle around her opponent, trying to get behind her. Kimmy would then try to move in quickly to grab Ayaka's hair, hoping to use that hold to throw the Japanese brawler into the nearest turnbuckle for a good working-over.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
Not being able to stand in a match, was pretty much a death sentence. Ayaka relied on her punches and kicks to win. Granted she could still punch, but it was never as effective. From now on the tables had turned against her. If Ayaka had any chance of winning now, that light was slowly fading away. Every move, that Ayaka didn't throw a punch, was essentially a free hit for Kimmy. Ayaka was still determined though. She was not going to lose so easily. She was going to fight as hard as she could, make Kimmy earn this victory. Losing her debut though... that left a sour taste in her mouth.
Ayaka noticed that Kimmy was trying to get behind her, and first Ayaka tried to turn around and meet Kimmy, but Kimmy moved far too fast, and before she knew it, she felt something tug at her hair " "Argh you bitch, let go!" Kimmy did indeed let go. Except it wasn't the sort of letting go that she imagined. Kimmy managed to toss her away pretty much like she was street garbage right into the turnbuckle. She groaned heavily when he back smashed into it, her body slumping as her leg refused to work still. The impact had caused her to get stunned for a few seconds, more than enough time for Kimmy to close the gap and do whatever she had planned for her.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
Kimmy was able to get behind Ayaka and grab her by her hair before tossing her rather easily into the nearest corner. The American didn't know how long her opponent was going to be unable to stand, but she wanted to get in as much punishment for the purple-haired Japanese street fighter as she could before Ayaka's limb started working properly again. Kimmy tossed Ayaka into the corner, letting her foe fall there, seemingly stunned, propped up against the turnbuckle. Kimmy considered her options for a second before charging forward towards Ayaka.
With Ayaka in that position, Kimmy had only a couple of options for how to deal with her. She herself had fallen victim to a cannonball senton while in this same position many years ago, when she was just starting out as a wrestler—unfortunately, Kimmy was not much of a high-flyer, and a jumping move like that would be risky at best. Most other moves were simply combinations of punches and kicks, something which Kimmy loved to utilize, but also something which Ayaka could counter with just a little bit of luck. Kimmy had another move in mind, something that would probably appeal to the crowd, while seriously inconveniencing Ayaka at the same time.
Kimmy would leap up as she neared Ayaka, and lifted her legs up to slip them over the ropes. As she came back down, she would try to slam her butt down onto Ayaka's chest, and would grab onto the top ropes with her hands, trying to get into a position to bounce hard on Ayaka's chest, taking her breath away yet again with a painful and embarrassing Bronco Buster!
"Seriously, are you about done yet? You can't even stand! Tap...out!" Kimmy would insist, as she would begin bouncing on Ayaka's chest, slamming her rear end down onto her opponent's torso in order to deflate her and to rattle her ribcage a little bit. She waited to see what Ayaka would do in such a compromised position. With any luck, the Japanese girl was running out of energy to continue the fight. She was persistent, Kimmy would give her that—but right now, the American held every advantage.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
This debut was turning into a nightmare. It wasn't even a fair fight no more. Kimmy had seemed to outclass her. A rookie was throwing her around and beating her up! It was a outrage! Ayaka wouldn't be able to show her face anywhere without them laughing at her and calling her a joke. Ayaka should of destroyed someone like Kimmy, instead it was the other way around. Instead, Ayaka was being made to look like a weakling infront of everyone. At every possible chance in this fight, Kimmy had gotten ahead of Ayaka, beating her to the moves and generally exploiting her lack of wrestling knowledge.
For Ayaka things were only going to get worse, getting trapped in the turnbuckle was never good in a fight, but even worse, getting trapped and not being able to escape, that was harder. Kimmy might not know it, and Ayaka will never admit it, Kimmy's figure four leglock did an awful lot of damage. More than they both thought. While her leg would recover, it was going a lot longer than the match for it to do so. Sadly for Ayaka, Kimmy had a plan to humiliate her even more, or more than like degrade her. Jumping up, she began to bring her butt down onto her chest, putting pressure on her ribcage and smashing her into the apron. It also had the advantage of pushing the air out of her and draining her of her remaining stamina. Ayaka would groan with each slam. She was powerless to stop them really.
The only thing stopping her from tapping now was simply put; Pride. There was no way she was going to admit that she had been outclassed by Kimmy. Tapping out would be just giving up, seen by many as the easy way out. For now she had to hold on, and secretly hope for a pin sooner or later. Or for some king of miracle that could save her. A miracle might of came her way though, after the forth or so hit; Ayaka had lost count, she made a quick and snap movement. It was a low blow, but she lifted up her one arm, hoping to smash it between Kimmy's legs as she came down. She couldn't be accused of cheating, since technically, Kimmy fell onto her hand because of gravity. That was just a bad coincidence afterall. If her little dirty trick worked, it would at least, but Ayaka some time to breath, and take some deep breaths to make up for lost oxygen.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
Everything was going Kimmy's way now. The fight had been brutal and both of them had gotten their shots in, but it had also been brief, and right now, almost unbelievably, it seemed almost as if it was over already. Ayaka could not stand up yet, and Kimmy wasn't quite sure how badly her opponent's leg was hurting her, so it was entirely possible that Ayaka would not be standing up at all any time soon. And now, after whipping Ayaka around the ring, Kimmy had managed to pivot into one of the more humiliating wrestling moves—at least until you got into the H-moves that so many of the girls around here seemed to enjoy, for some reason—and her Bronco Buster was now not only rattling Ayaka, but forcing all of the air out of her lungs, as well.
Kimmy would slow down for a couple of seconds to catch her breath, then would continue to bounce on Ayaka's chest, not wanting to give her opponent the same opportunity to recover. "Are—you—done—yet?" Kimmy would ask disjointedly, each word coming as she rose up, before being punctuated by a soft "oonf" as she slammed her butt back down onto Ayaka's chest. After several more bounces, Kimmy would pause again, panting lightly as she rested. The bouncing took a lot out of her, too. But she knew that it was taking more out of Ayaka.
"Come on!" Kimmy would demand, growing perhaps a little impatient with Ayaka. She lifted up and brought herself down again, but this time she did not slam down onto Ayaka's chest. She felt knuckles digging into her inner thigh, bony joints jabbing into her toned, taut flesh. Kimmy's eyes bugged out and she cried out in shock, letting go of the ropes and tumbling backwards. She eventually managed to control her roll, bringing herself to a stop a few feet away. She reached down and rubbed at her leg, wincing. Ayaka was a street fighter, after all. Apparently, she wanted to play dirty. "Gahh, fuck that..." Kimmy would grumble.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
It would seem that Kimmy was never going to stop. Over and over again she came up and down, each time battering Ayaka more and more. The only relief that Ayaka had was that her sneak attack worked, and soon Kimmy was away from her, on the floor in pain. Kimmy might of donw a lot of damage to Ayaka, but Ayaka can catch up fast with dirty tricks. Sure it was a low blow, but Ayaka had no qualm using a low blow this time to give her the advantage.
"Does it feel nice Bitch? Huh?" She would spit out, or more like rasp out, as her mouth had dried up slightly after losing so much air. She didn't get much of an advantage at all either. Most of the time Kimmy would of been down, Ayaka spent leaning against the turnbuckle and breathing heavily, making up for lost time. Eventually, Ayaka pushed herself forward,, almost crawling over to Kimmy, but it was visible of Ayaka's face that even crawling with her bad leg still hurt considerably. It did seem that Ayaka was going to be ground based for the entire fight. It would be a utter miracle if Kimmy had not recovered in the time it had taken Ayaka to get close.
If that miracle did happen, and she was lucky enough to get close enough, Ayaka had very few ideas of what she would do. She did have one that would work. She would reach over and grab a fistful of Kimmy's hair. She would then pull up, lifting Kimmy's head up by the hair. "Haha, that hurt? She taunted "Cause it is only going to get worse from here!" Her comment was a little late, since Kimmy had pretty much destroyed Ayaka, and it was impossible for her to realistically win now. At least she could score some brownie points. Once she was finished lifting up Kimmy's head, she would nastily slam it right back down into the canvas. Laughing as she did. "Payback is a bitch!"

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
"Gahh...fuckin'...damn," Kimmy would groan, as she managed to pick herself up onto her hands and knees, trying to shift her position so that the pain in her thigh would decrease. It was a little bit difficult for her to keep herself up like this while her thigh was in this sort of pain—it almost felt like a cramp that she needed to lay down and stretch out to get rid of. But there was no time for laying down. Kimmy saw Ayaka starting to pick herself up off of the turnbuckle and come for her, and so Kimmy, knowing that she could not afford to lose the advantage in a fight against a brutal girl like this one, would move forward to try to meet Ayaka halfway.
"Come on...are you still fightin', huh? Ridiculous. Stupid," Kimmy would say, as she had half expected Ayaka to submit by now. But she was starting to realize that Ayaka was not going to submit. Either a knockout or a pin was what Kimmy needed at this point. She thought that she could get it, since they were on the canvas, and she was obviously the superior ground fighter. But it did also mean that she sacrificed any speed or maneuverability—at least until her own leg stopped hurting—and to execute any of her punishing submission moves she would have to get within range of Ayaka's fists.
Before Kimmy could do anything to stop her, Ayaka grabbed onto Kimmy's platinum blonde hair, lifted her up, and then threw her downwards, slamming the Brooklyn Bruiser facefirst into the ring. Kimmy cried out in pain as her face smacked hard into the canvas, and would start to roll to put some distance in between herself and Ayaka, hoping that the purple-haired Japanese brawler was going to try to follow her.
But retreating was not something that Kimmy usually looked kindly upon. Even in the few hopeless situations that she had faced early on in her wrestling career, Kimmy had preferred to go down guns blazing. Heck, even when she and Al had been playing Super Smash Bros. in Al's basement, Kimmy didn't stop fighting until the fight was over, no matter what the score or the KO count was.
As she rolled onto her back, Kimmy would sweep a leg out towards Ayaka. If the Japanese girl had decided to follow her, Kimmy was sure she would be in range. With any luck, Ayaka would not have time to prepare for it. Kimmy would try to sweep the leg into Ayaka's knees and take them out from under her opponent, sending her opponent down onto the canvas, as well.

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
While Ayaka could be glad that she had managed to hurt Kimmy, it wasn't exactly a golden ticket to victory. Kimmy had inflicted far too much damage to her for her to recover properly during the match. Now all Ayaka was doing was delaying the inevitable. Ayaka would watch Kimmy retreat and roll away. Clearly Kimmy still saw Ayaka as some sort of threat at least. While Ayaka would try and keep up at first, she couldn't. Trying to clamber onto her feet just ended with her getting onto her feet slowly and falling backwards as a result. She practically managed to pull of a self-suplex. Hitting the canvas again, Ayaka would growl. This was embarrassing. A girl, who grew up fighting on the streets, who had been in fights tougher than any Kimmy had ever seen, and yet there she was, being beaten by a rookie who had managed to pretty much disable her in a single move.
"Shit!"... She gritted through her teeth. A sudden surge of pain had come from her leg, a punishment for trying to put weight on it. The only good thing for Ayaka, was that she was far out of range of Kimmy's leg sweep. That was the only good thing though. Asides from that everything else was going shit. The audience loved it though; the woman who had come out first, talking a bit of trash, was being made to eat her words and get beaten. And at least to Ayaka, it felt like this had been the shortest match in history. Ok, there were more than likely shorter ones, but this one wasn't of standard length at all. Maybe she should just forget about the match, and call the next one her debut?

Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!
Kimmy knew that Ayaka was still a dangerous opponent, even if it didn't seem like she was going to get up and start running around any time soon. Kimmy honestly was even a little surprised that her leglock had managed to deal that much pain to her purple-haired foe. She had put girls just as tough as Ayaka in leglocks that lasted much longer, but they were usually able to recover and get back up onto their feet, unless they had been severely weakened first. While on one level Kimmy was glad for her opponent's injury, on another level she was really, really worried that she had dealt some sort of serious harm to a fellow fighter. That was never a good feeling, no matter how nasty the girl could be.
Right now, though such thoughts lingered in the back of Kimmy's mind, she was able to mostly focus herself on the task at hand: winning. She had to keep herself safe from any attempted counterattacks by her opponent. She had to make sure that there would be no swings of momentum back in Ayaka's direction. Ayaka had managed to hurt her a bit and force Kimmy to roll away. Kimmy swung a leg to try to catch Ayaka if the girl tried to follow her, but Ayaka wasn't there.
As Kimmy rolled, she got just a couple of glimpses of Ayaka trying to get up on her feet, then falling back down, unable to stand. It was almost comical, though it was more sad than anything. At this point, Kimmy had won. She had won easily, at least when she compared it to most of the other matches she had had in her wrestling career. Ayaka had no chance. But Ayaka was not giving up, was not tapping out or saying that she gave in when Kimmy demanded it from her. She was really stubborn, and Kimmy figured that she probably would have to pin Ayaka—or knock her out—to finish the match.
Well, Kimmy didn't really have a problem with that, she supposed.
Getting up onto her hands and knees, and then pushing herself up onto her feet, Kimmy would walk slowly over to where Ayaka had fallen. Lifting up one booted foot, Kimmy would try to bring it down for a stomp on Ayaka's stomach, looking to keep the girl winded and disoriented, maybe even to prepare her for a pinfall.
