Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Adele

Gabbie watched with silent satisfaction as Adel went down. However, she didn't spare a glance. She wanted to put on a clinic, but knew she had to end it. As she took a step forward, she saw Adele's foot lash out at her and she quickly hopped back away from her.

Gabbie's lip pulled up in a sneer, but she took a few more steps back to give Adele more breathing room. She had already put Adele down in the opening seconds of the bout. She was definitely going to win on the scorecards. She bounced on her heels and lifted up her hands, beckoning Adele to stand up as she motioned at the German with a calculating look of determination in her eyes.

Adele watched as Gabbie dodged her kick and backed away. "Is that all you have?" Adele said as she got to her feet while trying to think of a new plan. Adele soon had an idea. Gabbie may be a better kick boxer but this wasn't a kickboxing match. Adele would smile slightly before charging at Gabbie and trying to spear Gabbie to the mat. Adele figured Gabbie may be able to dodge her punches and kicks but Adele doubted Gabbie would fight as well once she was taken down to the mat.

Gabbie kept her stance up as Adele got to her feet. She bounced smoothly in place as Adele asked her if that was all she had. She didn't respond and as Adele charged her, once again, Gabbie aimed a kick at where she thought Adele's face was going to be.

She thought the German would be easy pickings, but actually getting tackled was only something she had in the back of her mind. She was hoping Adele would fight her upright.

"Gh!"

Gabbie's leg was taken out from under her and she fell onto her butt with Adele on top of her.

Adele wouldn't waste anytime after tackling Gabbie to try and mount Gabbie. Adele knew she had to be quick about this and Adele would grab at one of Gabbie's arms. Adele would then try to pull Gabbie's arm between her legs to apply a painful armbar. "You may be better than me at kickboxing but let me show you what i have learned at the AFW." Adele would say as she would try to weaken one of Gabbie's arms.

Gabbie grunted as Adele climbed on top of her. It wasn't an unfamiliar position. Her sister had put her in it all the time when they sparred. Gabbie knew she wasn't the best at Jiu Jitsu, but she definitely knew her stuff. She cursed when Adele went for the armbar.

A move like that could definitely make her tap out and as Adele leaned back, Gabbie pushed with all her body and tried to roll with it. She had an intense look on her eyes as she could feel her arm being stretched. She couldn't let Adele lock it and she tried to muscle Adele's legs so that she would be resting on them while Adele held her arm.

Still, it didn't exactly put her in a position to break the hold, but it did pin Adele's shoulders to the canvas where the referee was waiting.

"One!"

Adele would quickly try to lock in the armbar on Gabbie but Gabbie seemed to know what she was doing. Adele soon heard the ref could to one and Adele quickly released the hold to break the pin. Adele would quickly roll to her feet so she could think of another plan.

Adele knew that on the mat she should have the advantage so as Gabbie would try to get up Adele would charge at her to try and land a dropkick on Gabbie chest.

Gabbie grinned as she was shoved off Adele with the kick out. That felt good and maybe that was something she might not mind rubbing in Adele's face. However, as she turned, Adele was already hopping up to her feet.

Gabbie cursed herself and quickly scrambled to stand up, but was hit with the German's hard dropkick, sending her caterwauling back down to the canvas as she rolled a few times and then stopped, face down, groaning and holding her side.

Adele hit the mat and she immediately got on one knee. Adele looked to see where her opponent had landed and Adele was quick to try and capitalize on her move. Adele would quickly try to grab one of Gabbie's legs to pull in up before attempting to sit on Gabbie's back to execute a Boston crab. Adele was quickly figuring out that Gabbie may be an expert at kickboxing but wrestling was a whole other story.

Gabbie was only pushing to get to her hands and knees when the German sat right on her back. "Eh?" She grunted at the pressure and quickly turned, growling as her legs were seized and she was pulled into a cee shape.

"Ahhhh!"

Gabbie yelled when her legs were bent back and she pounded the mat. It hurt, but it was something she could handle for the moment. She hissed and growled as she dug her fingers into the canvas and attempted the slow crawl towards the ropes.

Adele pulled back as hard as she could on Gabbie's leg to try and weaken her as much as she could. "Just submit." Adele would say before she felt herself start to move towards the ropes. Adele couldn't let Gabbie get to the ropes if she wanted to win. "Where do you think you are going?" Adele would say as she would stand up with Gabbie's leg still in hand.

Adele would reposition herself so that she was behind Gabbie while still holding her leg. Adele would then try to pull Gabbie away from the ropes before twisting her ankle. "Submit!" Adele would say as she hoped that Gabbie wouldn't be able to take the pain.
