Tonight was going to be a blast from the past for Janet. After well over a year, she was revisiting one of her earliest matches, going a second round—or, if one included their unofficial convenience store brawl, a third round—with the movie starlet Aoko Reinhardt, this time with a berth in the Softcore Tournament semifinals at stake. She was really looking forward to it, for a lot of reasons. She was excited to face Aoko again, and this time, the Lakota wrestler was absolutely determined to win. No double knockout. No lucky shots with convenience store weaponry for Aoko. Janet was going to employ all the skills she had learned since her last meeting with Aoko—from her time spent training with Cecilia Northman, and the time she spent learning in the ring as a champion—and win this one decisively.

The Lakota wrestler was almost disappointed when she learned the stipulation of the match. A stripping match was not exactly the way she had imagined exacting a little sweet revenge on Aoko. But it would do. There was no doubt that, in order to strip Aoko, Janet would have to beat her, wear her down to the point of exhaustion, utilizing all those skills that she had been accumulating the past year and change. And seeing Aoko stripped to her bra and panties, embarrassed and defeated, would be a sight to behold. Aoko was a beautiful woman—a fact that Janet would freely admit even with the history between the two of them.

Janet was not wearing her regular attire for this match. Her regular attire didn't even include a bra or panties—it included a bikini. And while she could switch them out, the fact that all Aoko would have to do to strip her would be to pull down her skirt and pull off her boots left Janet feeling much too vulnerable. No, the Lakota was wearing something a little more conservative—a little more like her street clothes. A pair of jeans that fit very snugly, which would hopefully take Aoko some time to pull down. A sky blue T-shirt, crisp and new, never before worn. And, of course, the same boots she usually wore as part of her costume.

Lady Lakota came out to her usual theme, and quickly bounced down the ramp, waving her arms as she received a loud ovation from her large cohort of fans. She was much more popular now than she was when she had first tangled with Aoko. But that didn't mean that the crowd would necessarily be on her side. Even if she hadn’t built up as big a following here at AFW, Aoko was still a very popular movie star—even Janet made sure to catch all of her movies—and the starlet's fans seemed to be out in force tonight. It was a pretty evenly-divided crowd, for what was expected to be a fairly even match.

Janet definitely wasn’t going to underestimate Aoko. Not after what they’d been through the previous year. But she knew that she was going to win this, no matter how close it was, no matter if Aoko had the lead and had Janet stripped down to the last thread of clothing above her bra and panties. The Lakota did not intend to fall further behind her rival in the series of matches, official and unofficial, between them. She slid into the ring and got to her feet, waving at the crowd another time before heading for her corner to await Aoko's arrival.

It had been a long time since Aoko had faced off against Janet last, that convenience store brawl of theirs had been their last encounter really, and their last match had been that boxing match. So it had been quite a long time since the two of them had last clashed..currently though Aoko was in a favorable score as she had been able to win their little fight...even though that had left quite the foul taste in her mouth. While Aoko had been busy with her movies and career outside of wrestling, Janet seemed to have growing bigger and bigger here in AFW, into quite the star...this did of course leave Aoko with quite the feeling of having butterflies in her stomach, she was nervous that she would have a difficult time against the raven haired girl.

All that Aoko could really do in this match was go out and try to do her best against Janet and try to come out on top once again. Aoko had chosen to go with wearing her secondary attire, based of her famous character in movies. The currently redheaded Aoko would take a deep breath as she looked over her outfit in the locker room, nodding to herself. Wearing a white top, a pair of slightly torn jeans, black glove sleeves and a pair of sneakers. Though this match wasn't exactly an interesting one....it was a match, a strip match seemed kind of silly in Aoko's opinion and she didn't exactly know how it would be for the two wrestlers when they got into the ring...but only time could tell that.

After Janet had made her way down to the ring, it was Aoko's turn. Her music started up and with the the redheaded actress stepped out onto the ramp waving to the fans as she'd start to jog down the ramp, giving a few high-gives to the front row crowd as she moved down towards the ring. She got quite a few cheers from the crowd which got Aoko's spirit up quite a bit, she put on a smile on her face as she jogged up to the ring and slipped in underneath the bottom ropes. Aoko would move up to her feet and give another wave towards the crowd, before she'd move towards the center of the ring, not wanting to wait anymore for fear that she'd get too nervous yet again. Eyes fixed upon Lady Lakota as she'd put on quite a serious expression on her face.

Facing down Aoko brought back a lot of emotion for Janet. She almost felt like a rookie again, inexperienced, fighting a similarly inexperienced Aoko in what had ended up being a slightly awkward, very arousing, and extremely exciting match that had ultimately come to no satisfactory conclusion. Aoko might have won their unofficial fight in the convenience store a few weeks later, but that didn't mean anything. As a matter of fact, Aoko's victory there had helped spur Janet to improve herself and strive for greater heights. Less than a week later, she had begun training with Cecilia, and things really took off for Janet from there.

Aoko's entrance was simple, and she was dressed just as simply as Janet was—or at least she would have been, had her attire not been partially modeled on her famous movie character. It got quite the loud round of applause from the audience, most of whom were obviously fans of Aoko's, and Janet would even smirk a little bit, too, as she saw the redheaded movie star climb up into the ring wearing that. Even though they were rivals, and not even very friendly ones at that, Janet had still gone to see Aoko's latest film, and had really enjoyed it. Now, it was as if she was fighting a character right off of the silver screen. Even though she was the one who had won a title, and defended it multiple times, Janet almost found herself intimidated.

Almost, but not quite. She knew that she would beat Aoko tonight. As even as they were in their first two fights, there was no way that Janet, with far more experience now than her opponent, could lose.

As Aoko fixed her eyes on Janet, Janet would stare back, keeping her green eyes locked on the blue eyes of her redheaded rival. The Lakota wrestler would put her hands on her hips, standing tall and proud, and take a few steps forward towards the center of the ring, keeping Aoko in her sights the whole while. This may have been just a strip match, but they would be doing plenty to each other besides just stripping, and Janet knew how important this was—especially for herself. "How have you been, Aoko?" Janet asked, in a calm, measured tone, a tone that was almost pleasant, but which did betray a certain amount of tension which was obviously bubbling just below the surface.

With both women now in the ring it looked as if the crowd was going to continue cheering and shouting until things had settled down fully for the two and they were ready to start the match. It seemed as if both women held at least a bit of respect for each other as neither of the not particularly friendly rivals looked on at one another, neither of them looked to attack early on to start the match off with an early lead or anything like that. Aoko on one hand though didn't know all too much about how Janet had trained, she knew of Janet's successes in AFW since their last fight. Thinking about that brought back a slight bit of that nervousness that Aoko felt earlier...but she couldn't think about such things, the redheaded actress would shake her head a bit to clear those thoughts.

It wasn't as if Aoko had stopped training and she wasn't exactly out of the loop when it came to wrestling, but Janet's successes was an intimidation...though that didn't change the fact that even though if Janet had won a title, her rival had also lost that title...so maybe there wasn't too much to fear ? Perhaps it would be like old times between them ? She'd only find out when the match actually started.

When Janet came in and spoke to her with her hands at the hips, Aoko would keep her at her side, her blue eyes fixed to Janet's green eyes as the calm tone of Janet caught her a bit off guard. Janet had been quite a hot head the last two times they spoke so it was a bit of an off-set to hear her so calm now. Still, Aoko would nod and then proceed to respond to Janet. " I've been alright, I can't really complain. How about you, Janet ?" The actress spoke, in a relatively friendly tone though as with Janet's words it did betray a slight bit of tension to those words.

Still, Aoko always considered herself a fair and kind person to a degree, as such she would offer out her right hand to Janet in order to give the raven haired Lakota wrestler a handshake to at least show a decent amount of sportsmanship.

The crowd continued their cheering, the whole audience in attendance seeming to become a tad crazed as they applauded loudly for both of the wrestlers in the ring. Aoko was no slouch when it came to wrestling, and on top of the fans she had earned by virtue of her performance in previous matches she also had a legion of millions of diehard supporters who loved her movies and wanted to see her excel in this arena as well. Janet, meanwhile, was one of the more prolific AFW wrestlers in recent years, and by virtue of her amiable nature and unique persona had built up a sizeable cheering contingent of her own, which had only ballooned when she had won the Entropy title. With two very popular girls in the ring tonight, the crowd was bound to be loud.

Janet wanted to show them why they cheered for her, and not let her temper get the better of her just because she was fighting a girl who had been somewhat rotten to her in the past. Janet would let the perceived slights suffered at the hands of Aoko drive her to fight harder and earn the victory in this bra and panties match, but she wasn't going to be taking any cheap shots at her foe. The redhead seemed to not be too interested in starting things off on a sour note, either, as she actually reached out a hand and offered Janet a handshake.

The Lakota wrestler took it with little hesitation and shook Aoko's hand in a professional, businesslike manner. "I've been doing great. AFW has been really good to me these past couple years," Janet would reply, as she held onto Aoko's hand for a long moment even after they stopped shaking, staring into the baby blue eyes of her rival, before slowly letting go, her fingertips brushing over Aoko's palm as her hand dropped back to her side.

Aoko didn't know if Janet was going to accept her handshake, but she was at the very least gonna try and offer one. What she was given though was a wary look from the raven haired girl...before finally their hands were together for what seemed like a pretty standard handshake. Janet's fingers lingered a bit after it was done and the Lady Lakota's gaze just kept staring into her eyes. Feeling Janet's fingers brush against her palm caused Aoko to stiffen up a bit...but she returned the gaze to Janet and waited, the words of Aoko was far from being cordial but Aoko would not be distressed by that fact.

The redhead would tilt her head a bit as she soon would let out a little sigh. It was clear that this wasn't going to be a calm and fun match...not like the previous one, this was most likely going to be a painful endeavor as she'd have to fight tooth and nail to try and beat her rival...but Aoko was ready to do that.

" Alright then, glad to hear it. I'm ready when you are." Aoko would let out, at least attempting to make it a cordial manner to her words. Moving back a step as she'd start to ready herself up for the match. " May the best woman win...I suppose." Aoko let out as she'd keep her eyes fixed upon Janet, as she herself moved into her wrestling stance and got ready for the match.

The handshake and the intense staring contest that went along with it went on for quite a while, and Janet was not exactly sure if it was herself or Aoko who was holding on a little longer than might have been expected. Janet did think Aoko was attractive, despite their rivalry, and she was pretty sure that Aoko was at least kind of into her, too. It made everything that much more difficult when it came to their interactions. When they finally pulled away, Janet would take a step back and put her hands on her hips again. Aoko's words were cordial enough...though Janet could hear the underlying context of her words.

"I hope you've been doing well, too. I haven't seen you around here very much," Janet would say to her redheaded opponent, as she looked the girl up and down for a second time. She noted how Aoko and her had chosen similar attire for this match, albeit with Aoko adding a pair of sleeve-gloves that gave her a slight advantage to start off with. Janet's eyes narrowed as she looked at those. She was going to have to fix that right away. She didn't look at them long enough to give away to Aoko what her plan was, though, and when she looked back up into Aoko's eyes there was only the hard look of determination.

"Your last movie was very good, by the way. I enjoyed it," Janet said, figuring she might as well be as civil as she could. She was a more mature wrestler now, and a more mature person than she had been when last she and Aoko had clashed. "And, yes, may the best woman win." She bent her knees and put out her arms, getting into her stance. Just a couple of seconds later, the bell rang to begin the fight. Janet would reach up and forward, shuffling her feet forward a half-step to close with Aoko, offering her a test of strength to start off the match.

Aoko hadn't could at least say that she found Janet to be quite an attractive girl, and it did make it quite difficult that the two of them didn't get along with each other, ever since their first match had ended in that tie, it has just been a bunch of conflict between them as a result of that match. Would probably have been better for them if a clear winner had been presented...though their brawl later on had proven that such a thing didn't help much.

Hearing Janet speak once again, the actress would nod her head a slight but, she had done quite alright since their last encounter. " I've been alright, had to work on other stuff than AFW for a bit...but I at least managed to get in a match or so, here and there." Aoko spoke as she'd let out a light sigh, she took a moment to look Janet over as well, seeing that perhaps this match would be somewhat fair to say the least since their outfits were quite similar. The redheaded actress would nod her head once again.

When Janet's gaze turned back to Aoko, those green eyes filled with determination...Aoko would look on at Janet, tilting her head a bit before she roll her eyes a bit. This was getting slightly exhausting already...Aoko took a moment before she then heard Janet speak about how she enjoyed her last movie. " Oh, thank you. I'm glad to hear it." Aoko spoke out as she look to the side a bit...boy this was awkward, to interact with Janet yet again was just sort of...difficult. Soon though Janet took that half step closer, Aoko would see Janet's figure and attempt to mimic it a bit, moving in to try and take a hold of Janet's hand and move into the offered test of strength. Attempting to test the waters a bit to start with, seeing as they had never tested their might against one another before.

It seemed that Aoko was at least going to try to keep her temper under control. That was good. Janet wouldn't mind being friends with Aoko at some point in the future, though she really wasn't sure if it could happen tonight. There was just too much on the line, and even when she was telling herself to give the redheaded movie star a second chance, whenever she looked at Aoko she felt an irrational surge of anger in her chest. Trying to control it was just going to make this match that much more awkward. If either of them wanted to apologize, they could try it after the fight, when they had more recent things to apologize for.

Aoko thanked Janet for the compliment about her last movie, and the Lakota wrestler would nod. "You're welcome," she would say, as she dropped down into a grappling stance, arms out, legs spaced wide and knees bent, and moved in towards her rival. It occurred to her that they had never had a test of strength before. That was strange, since Janet was something of a sucker for starting out matches with tests of strength. To be fair, they hadn't ever really had a normal match before.

She took a deep breath and moved in to interlock her fingers with Aoko's. With any luck, the test of strength would put her in a position to draw "first blood" in this fight, as well.

"Good luck," Janet would say, before she would dig in her booted heels and throw her weight forward, trying to pile on the pressure right away and force Aoko backwards and downwards in this test of strength.
