Teddy Cat Hori vs. Valley Doll - The Cat Came Back

Valley had been optimistic when Teddy sent her off towards the ropes. The Wrestle Angel was picking up the pace, moving closer to her comfort area. There were a lot ways she could turn an Irish Whip against the person who threw it.

Of course, all of those tactics required space, and that wasn't what Valley got when she turned around on the ropes. No, what she got was a knee in the stomach, sinking deep into her toned abs. It was all she could do to stay on her feet, and she just barely managed that as she stumbled back to the ropes and slumped against them, grasping her stomach and sucking in fresh air.

The knee worked, bending Valley over like a charm. Teddys idea for this fight was simple, just stay on Valley, try to not give her a moment to herself if she could help it.

Grabbing Valley around her neck, Teddy stood her upright before turning and trying to flip the blonde of her shoulder, snapmaring her to the mat. If that worked, she would raise her up to a sitting position and press her knee into the womans back, grabbing her around her chin and applying a tight rear chin lock, the crowd surprised at Teddy taking the early advantage.

"Still game for me-Nya!?"

It was just one thing after the other with Teddy. One second, Valley was reeling from the knee, the next she was flipped over and landed flat on her butt, and the second after that, she had hands around her chin, pulling her head back while a knee stabbed her in the spine. Valley could see the strategy - Teddy was trying whittle her away until all that remained was an easily pinnable husk. That didn't mean she could stop it from happening.

She answered the question with a few grunts, as she shook from side to side and tried to break out of the hold. Normally, she would've been able to escape this easily enough, but Teddy was a lot stronger than noraml, tonight. Squirm left and right, kick her heels, jerk her head around, it didn't matter. There was no escaping this, for the time being.

"Whaddya guys think so far Nya!?"

Teddy Cat Hori yelled to the crowd, her supporters, as well as a few fans that were impressed by her initial takeover of the match, applauded, while the rest began to chant for Valley Doll, wanting to see her escape!

As Valley struggled in Teddy's hold, held captive by the cat girl, she was certain of one thing: if the AFW ever made a Best of Valley Doll DVD, this match would not be on it.

Okay. She'd gotten off to a bad start. But the fans were behind her, she still had plenty of life, she could make up for lost time. Valley brought her legs in as the crowd chanted and cheered, egging her on. She planted her feet and started to stand up, bending backwards as she rose to alleviate the pressure.

Teddy figured she couldn't keep her in this hold on forever, it was too simple to do more then momentarily incapacitate somebody. Still, if Teddy wanted to try and end this quickly...there was one thing she could try. She had practiced this move over and over with various sparring partners, but this would be her first time trying it in a match itself.

With Valley getting up to her feet, Teddy muttered a silent prayer before letting go of Valley's chin, instead grabbing the older woman's arm and turning her around to face her. Teddy then bent her knees and jumped straight upwards, her legs catching around Valley's head and crossing behind her head as her body fell, Teddy trying to angle her body so that she could swing it down and use her momentum to flip Valley Doll to the mat with a Hurricanrana!

If she was successful, and not dropped onto her head, Teddy Cat Hori would find herself sitting on Valley's chest, crotch in her face, with the Doll flat on her back, and Teddy hooking one of her legs for an attempted pin!

Valley started to burst forward the moment her chin was free, hoping to get some space so she could recoup, regroup, and make some sense out of the quagmire this match was rapidly descending into. She didn't get very far before Teddy was on her again, though, sticking with her winning strategy.

Valley thought she had a good handle on what that winning strategy was - nonstop offense. And when Teddy spun her around, she fully expected some kind of slam, or a strike, or a clothesline, or something. So, when a pair of slim but powerful thighs wrapped around her head, she was understandably confused.

She didn't even realize what had happened until she was on her back and the referee was coming down for the count. A hurricanrana. The crazy little woman hit her with a hurricanrana.

1...!"

Valley blinked for a moment, as she found herself staring up at the Teddy's crotch. She hated this pin. Even when she tried to score a win with the hurricanrana, she tried to scoot back after the impact. A little courtesy could go a long way, but Teddy didn't seem to feel that way.

"2...!"

"Nope!" Valley bucked the former Wrestle Angel off of her and went into a roll, trying to make a quick escape to the outside of the ring.

Teddy thanked her lucky cat shaped stars that she managed to pull that move off without messing up or injuring herself. She let out a celebratory yell, thinking she just might have Valley beaten early, but Valley managed to kick out of time and retreat to outside the ring, leaving Teddy alone in the ring for the moment.

"Nyaaaaa"

She said aloud, in a disappointed tone. Moving to all fours, she crawled over to the ropes, letting out a cute mew and raising her hand like it was her paw, her fans cheering on the display.

"What's up Doll, you still in the game-Nya?"

Valley made her way over to the barricade and leaned her back against it, taking a moment to catch her breath while the crowd cheered Teddy's surprising start. It was impressive stuff. What they said about old dogs and new tricks apparently didn't apply to cats.

"Okay...." She took a few deep breaths and forced some calm, even as Teddy taunted her from the ring. She'd gotten taken by surprise, but she was far from finished. She'd underestimated the returning Wrestle Angel, but now she had a better idea of what she was dealing with - strong, quick, solid offense that could sweep you away if you weren't careful. Not bad, but nothing she couldn't deal with if she was smart about it.

Valley pushed off the barricade and started to bounce from side to side, warming back up. "Let's try that again."

She rushed into the ring, slid in under the bottom rope, and quickly popped up to her feet. Her eyes stayed focused on Teddy the whole time, as she brought her hands up and began to circle around her...

If Teddy had known Valley was thinking of the old dogs/new tricks comment, she would have quipped that unlike Val, she was still a puppy...or in her case, a kitten, and could school the older woman. But she didn't, which was lucky, cause that sounded stupid.

Once Valley got back in the ring, Teddy got her arms up, circling around Valley as well, eager to continue.

Meanwhile in the front row, a slender blonde, clad in a Van Halen T-Shirt and jean shorts, shoved her way to her seat in the front.

Haley groaned. OF COURSE the only time she had gotten out of her seat to brave the snack bar for a drink during the long Friction show, on which she wasn't booked, to her annoyance, it ended being RIGHT before her girlfriends open challenge, the whole reason she bought a ticket in the first place. Luckily, it looked like she hadn't missed much, though she wondered who the newcomer was.

"Go Valley! Whip the pink off of her!"
