Kyo Akamatsu vs Yuki Nakamura

The audience held their breath as they watched the countdown. Kyo wasn't moving, and his eyes were closed. For a moment, it seemed as if the rookie Yuki had pulled off a stunning upset on the veteran Kyo, and defeated him in grand style wth her White Lotus finisher.

But then, before the 3 count could be reached, Kyo groaned and twisted his body to the side, gettng a shoulder up and breaking the count just in time.

Yuki's eyes widened in shock. How?! No one has ever kicked out of the White Lotus before! She got to her feet and turned to face him.

Kicking out, though, looked like it had taken a lot from Kyo. Even as his fans cheered him on, Kyo lay sprawled on his side, looking dazed and out of it from Yuki's finisher. As tough as he was, Kyo didn't look like he had much left in the tank at this point.

Yuki dragged him to his feet and whipped him into the ropes, aiming to slam her forearm into him with a devastating clothesline

Kyo groaned as Yuki pulled him back up unsteadily onto his feet. He seemed too out of it to stand, and many in the audience thought Kyo was finished as Yuki whipped him across the ring. He was unable to stop himself as he rebounded into the ropes and came bouncing back.

Except, as he came bouncing back, he dug into what reserves of willpower he had to duck, avoiding Yuki's clothesline and instead moving to wrap his arms around her waist from behind. Still using his momentum, he arched back, aiming to nail Yuki with a surprise back body drop.

Yuki ran with all she had, determined to finish Kyo now, when he unexpectedly ducked and made his way around her, wrapping his arms around her waist. The world turned upside down as he arched back, slamming Yuki down to the mat. The blow left her dazed and confused on the mat. She got to her feet, staggering slightly.

As the two of them crashed to the mat, Kyo lay on his back for a few seconds, still dazed from the White Lotus. He shook his head, trying to fight off the dizziness, knowing that he still had a match to win. At the corner of his eye, he saw Yuki pushing herself up, and he groaned and rolled to his feet as well. He spun, trying to nail her with a sudden spin-kick before she could recover.

As soon as Yuki turned around, she was nailed with a spinning kick, snapping her head to the side. She stumbled into the ropes, staggering before falling to her knees. Her eyes fluttered shut before collapsing to the mat.

The movement of the kick sent Kyo tumbling onto his knees, where he swayed slightly, blinking still from the blow to the head. Opposite him, he saw Yuki stumble back dizzily into the ropes, before collapsing onto her front. He shook his head, fighting off the dizziness as best he could. It was time for him to end this.

Crawling over towards Yuki, he dropped down and rolled her over onto her back, wearily hooking one of her legs for the pin. In an instant, the ref girl began the countdown. "ONE..."

Yuki's head fell to the side as Kyo covered her for the pin. The kick knocked her out cold, and it was highly unlikely that she was getting up from that.

"TWO...." the ref called, slamming her hand on the ring once more
