Kyo Akamatsu vs Yuki Nakamura

Yuki's reflexes were fast, faster than Kyo had anticipated. The silver-haired girl managed to block his kick, before shoving him back. His abs still stung from Yuki's barrage of punches, but Kyo was still in this match. As Yuki lunged to strike at his legs, he spin, wincing as her kick grazed his high, before completing his spin in the hopes of slamming a forearm into the side of her head.

Yuki cried out as Kyo's forearm crashed into her head, making stars dance in her vision. Her body rolled across the mat. It took a few moments for her to regain her senses. She groaned again as she tried to clear her vision.

Kyo took a few breaths as he managed to knock Yuki down, ending her assault. Moving after the downed girl, he grabbed a hold of her arm, aiming to pull her up to her feet and whip her across the ring.

Yuki let out a little groan as she was dragged to her feet, before being tossed across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and shooting back at Kyo. However, she was prepared, and slammed her boots into his chest in a brutal dropkick. She fell to the mat, trying to catch her breath and get to her feet before her opponent.

At this point, Kyo had figured on Yuki being softened up enough that he could go for a clothesline or drop kick after an Irish whip. The silver-haired girl had certainly offered no resistance as he pulled her up by the arm and whipped her across the ring. He immediately came running to meet her, arm raised for a clotheseline.

A clothesline that never came: Yuki's boots slammed hard into his chest, knocking the air out of his lungs. "UUUAGH!" Kyo gasped as the blow floored him, knocking him hard onto his back. He should have seen that one coming, he thought bitterly to himself. For a new girl, Yuki was pretty good.

Lily rolled over, going for the pin as she hooked his leg up, hoping for an early win.

ONE!

Kyo lay dazed for a moment as he felt Yuki lie against him, hooking her leg. Just as the ref girl dropped down for the countdown, though, Kyo twisted and kicked out as the count reached "ONE!" "You're gonna have to try better than that," he managed to say as he rolled away from Yuki.

She smiled, "Can't blame a girl for trying."

She got to her feet and held up her own fists, ready to reengage.

In an instant, Kyo leapt back to his feet. Seeing Yuki opposite him with her fists raised, he mirrored her action, slowly starting to circle her. Around them, the crowd clapped at this tense standoff.

"No, I guess I can't," he said to her with a smile, before darting in, faking a punch and instead spinning at her with a kick to her midriff.

Yuki spun, with the incoming foot only grazing her side. Turning back to him, she launched a high kick, aiming to bring it down on Kyo's head. Failing that, she was prepared to roll away and go on the defensive.
