This was Jaguar's second match in the AFW, but honestly it still felt more like his first. His debut had ended in a draw, so to him it was like that one really didn't count. It had been a while since then, and he had traded some of his arrogance about the Japanese league for training time and studying up about the wrestlers here. His opponent this time was going to be a girl, and her win/loss record evened out. Not much to go on from that information, but it's not like anything he learned was going to change his wrestling style anyway.

Spanish guitar begins to rock out in the arena, so Jaguar heads on out to the waiting crowd. He works the crowd a bit as he climbs into the ring, nothing special just the regular prancing and preening most wrestlers did. While he waited for his opponent to come out, he did some leg stretches to warm up his knees and thighs.

The lights began to flash, as spark fired into the air along the ramps. Yuki was gonna be facing another rookie tonight. All she knew about him was that he ended his debut in a draw. She needed to rely on her unpredictable strike pattern to catch him off guard. Hopefully then she would have a chance. With a smile, she ran out working up the crowd, who erupted into cheers at the sight of her.

With a wide smile on her face, she ran down the ramp, giving high five's and winks to her fans, who were all cheering loudly for her.
After climbing the steps into the ring, her blue eyes landed on her opponent, taking in the man's exotic clothing. Obviously not from Japan.He was probably one of those Luchador wrestlers. The inner fangirl in her cheered at that possibility, as they were her favorite wrestlers. She considered Luchadors as the artists of wrestling.

Taking in the man opposite her, she walked over, extending her hand in a sign of good sportsmanship.

"Good luck, and fight well." she said to the masked opponent, "My name is Yuki Nakamura. It's an honor to meet you."

Jaguar stood up when his opponent finally stepped into the ring. She was a good deal shorter than him, and lighter too, but as far as combatants go, they likely had similar speeds considering their builds. When prompted, he accepted her handshake and nodded his head.

"I am the Jaguar Negra. I don't much care for your honor, but the sentiment is appreciated." he said abruptly. That was one thing people had to get used to with Jaguar, he didn't mince words or exchange dainty pleasantries; it was always no nonsense, say what you really mean with me.

He walked backwards towards his corner and adjusted his gloves. He was not going to underestimate her like he had done with Getsu in his debut.

Soon enough the bell rang out to signal the start of the match. Jaguar threw himself into the ropes and launched himself at Yuki. Like a jaguar pouncing on its prey, he jumped into the air and sent a windmill kick at her abdomen.

Yuki was taken aback at the rude reply from Jaguar, but did not let herself get angry at him. Getting angry meant lack of focus, and that leads to just another loss. Backing away, she retreated into her own corner, waiting for the bell.

Once the bell rang, she noticed Jaguar wasting no time, as the masked man rocketed at her, jumping into the air with a windmill kick. Waiting until the last possible second, she sidestepped him, hoping to catch him off balance. If the plan worked, she lashed out with one of her own painful kicks to the side of his ribs.

Jaguar's kick hit nothing but air, his opponent having sidestepped and gotten lucky or planned carefully. He landed gracefully, planting that foot into the canvas and pivoting cleanly to face her. Her counter-kick was well-timed, Jaguar wasn't quite turned around all the way to receive it.

The kick landed hard in his side and he reacted by latching on at nearly the same time, anchoring the leg to himself. He sucked air through his teeth as he yanked backwards, taking several steps so that she would have to hop to follow. After dragging her closer to the ropes, he yanked for a final time and jumped. He shoved both of his feet outwards for a standing dropkick right to the gut.

At first Yuki was happy when her kick made contact, but that moment faded quickly when Jaguar managed to latch onto her leg. He began to sharply tug on it, causing her to hop along with him so as not to fall on her back.

Once he dragged her over near the ropes, he yanked one more time to put her off balance. Once she was unsteady on her legs, she felt his boots slam into her gut, knocking her down to the mat, where the back of her head cracked painfully on the canvas. She clutched at the spot, hissing in pain, but pushed herself to stand up again.

Knowing that he would be rising to his feet as well, Yuki decided now would be the best time to take the initiative, catching Jaguar in the head with another kick. If it dazed him, she would drag him to his feet and set him up against the turnbuckle.

Jaguar's dropkick knocks Yuki off her feet hard, while Jaguar lands cleanly on his back. He rolls up onto his back and then kicks back to his feet, a simple maneuver for most martial artists, but nonetheless flashy and impressive for an audience to see. Since the mask covered his facial expressions, he had to be more expressive with his body language. He shrugged towards the crowd like it was no big deal while he waited for Yuki to pull herself up.

She did so faster than he was expecting, and already kicked out at him again. This time he was expecting her to kick though, so far they seemed to be the only way they were fighting. Jaguar's arms are up to block, taking the brunt of her impact. He too sidesteps to avoid a follow-up, his back hitting the turnbuckle.

For most wrestlers, being cornered was probably a death sentence. Your opponent had you dead to rights for whatever hurt they wanted to put on you. But for a luchador, the turnbuckle was just as useful as the ropes. Jaguar used the bottom ropes to spring up into a crouch, much like a jaguar crouching in a tree, and inside his mask he was grinning. This was normally the position from which he would do a finisher, but it was far far too early for that. Not to mention that someone familiar with high-flying antics would know how to counter when not stunned.

He jumped from the turn post up over Yuki and landed in a somersault on the otherside. The momentum rolled him onto his feet once more and he started circling, looking for another choice moment to attack.

Yuki mentally cursed when her kick did not hit home on his masked skull. He was certainly living up to her expectations as what she thought a Luchador could do. Not only did he dodge her attack, but also manage to NOT get himself cornered at the turnbuckle. Even better, he managed to leap over her, somersaulting in the air before landing behind her.

'Impressive' she thought, watching him as he circled her. With that mask and the way he moved, the image he gave off was like his namesake. Deciding to go with a more defensive approach, she held up her fist, making sure to be light on her feet.

So far they'd only begun to dig their claws into each other, but Jaguar felt like he had a pretty good grasp at least on the way she moved. She had good average speed and strength, but she also hadn't really given it 110% yet either. As he circled his prey, his prey circled back and took a defensive stance. She was going to give him the offensive? Fine by him.

Jaguar once more darted back into the ropes to get some speed. This time he dove into a baseball slide that aimed to knock her off her feet. However, this was just a feint. Jaguar planted his heel in good and the momentum propelled him back to his feet quite suddenly to clothesline her instead. It had taken a lot of practice to perfect a technique like that, but Jaguar found its surprise was often worth it.

He's holding back. she thought, irritation starting to gnaw at her like an angry dog. If there is one thing she could not stand, it's when her opponents don't take her seriously. The way he looked at her....he thought he had her all figured out. Well she had to do something about that.

She saw Jaguar running at her, attempting a slide....but something was off. The way his body tensed up.....he wasn't putting everything into it. Then she realized the feint and instead of jumping, went for a kick. The kick was timed perfectly, so that by the time he propelled himself up for the clothesline, her boot caught him in the midsection, sinking into his abs. Capitalizing on the moment, she wrapped her arm around his head and nailed him with a perfect stunner.
