Like a Daydream (For Wamts)

The winds blow lightly. But, hard enough to cause the trees around the forest to rustle. Sitting in a tree was the dormant-lying, reclusive Jay Zokaro. He sat on a lower branch, still an impressive 10 feet off of the ground. He sat with his legs crossed, and his back up against the trunk of the tree. He watches the life of the forest move and sway. The animals running around below, and flying above. Jay spent most of his days lately sitting up here, as he was only allowed to do so during the day since his 'manager' restricted him to only the daytime splendors of meditation. He wanted to do.....Something.

Something.

Jay was starting to become anxious inside of that calm and collected outside. He was paranoid that everyone would come after him at some point and find him here, right now, where he was sitting. Jay thought that all the path would converge to a single point. His path, the path of anyone hunting for his growing bounty, the path that The Administration was on. More explicitly Melissa Sellers, who Jay had a vendetta against even though she was 'his boss' and could sell him out at any moment. He was just paranoid, which led to him having to meditate his days away. At least he was able to do so alone.....

Gail was bored. So she was outta the Friction and into the Tension, maybe find a nice hot guy to fuck for the night. She liked girls more of course, but a boy once in a while was nice too. Especially the ones who thought they were all that... in bed, they seemed to act a bit differently.

But for whatever reason, Google Maps decided that the best way to get from the train station to the Tension area on foot was through a forest. So now she was stuck in a bunch of trees... And by chance, she looked up to see... that weird little catboy, sitting on a branch. "Oy Jay! What the fuck are you doing up there?" Who still climbed trees at HIS age?

Something was offsetting the balance. The wines blew differently that before. Then suddenly, a voice broke into the silence. Jay opens his eyea to the all too familiar voice of an all too familiar girl. Gail. "What do you mean? What is someone like you doing in the forest? Its not safe here."

He referee to the high concentration or the Fur and Feathers fighters that lived in th forest. Though many of them were probably more active towards the night. Jay jumps down from the branch and lands on his two feet before Gail.

"Not safe? What are you talking about? There aren't any bears or anything here, it's a cluster of trees inside a city park!" Gail scoffed, Jay was so weird sometimes. Well, all the times.

And then he decided to jump down the full ten feet. Apparently, he really was a cat, he managed to land on his feet just fine, close enough that she could feel the impact against the ground. "Okay then. So what was being up in the tree about? Or were you just trying to break your legs?"

She didn't know. No one knew, and that ignorance was just another thing that Jay wanted to be alone for. The reason that no one just simply understood and always had to question. He jumps down and lands on his feet. Which shocked Gail a bit, it seemed.

"I was meditating. I do that more frequently nowadays." He looks back at the tree, the animatronic cat tail whipping around a bit.

"Uh huh... Meditating... That sounds... fun?" Gail shrugged, it wasn't the stupidest explanation, at least. "So I guess you're done with that now? Or is the next step meditating while lying in the grass?"

Seriously though, it sounded like he'd been overdoing the whole watching anime thing. Usually, that was in the middle schoolers phase of life, but maybe he'd never matured past that. Whatever, not worth her time. Gail started to walk away.

"No, no. There isn't anymore meditation for today." Jay says calmly. He looks up to the tree again to reflect. One of the cat ears atop his head twitches and he turns his see slightly to see Gail begin to walk away.

"Gail..." He gently grabbed her arm. A moment to ponder a possibly regrettable decision. "Want to spend the dat together again...?"

Jay actually reached out and grabbed her, which was surprising, he seemed like the type of person who despised contact with people. His question was also surprising, enough so that Gail took a second to actually think about it.

On the one hand, he was weird and not exactly amazingly hot. On the other hand... hmm, there wasn't much in the other hand. But she could amuse him for now at least. The forest was denser than she'd thought and he'd know the way out better than her. She could always ditch him, anyways.

"You're quite bold today, huh? I don't remember you enjoying yourself all that much last time. Or are you just that desperate?" Gail smirks, slapping her hand away from his grasp... but she did slow down her walking pace significantly.

Was he reaching out for her. Maybe for a second he forgot who he was, and he didn't mind getting out of his comfort zone. At least, not for her. Jay wasn't doing anything much anymore. And Gail was...Semi-nice to him.

"I enjoyed myself last time. Though it may not have seemed like it." He smiles slightly and starts to walk with her. "How have things been?"

"Really? You must be a better actor than I give you credit for." Gail said flatly, keeping just a step ahead of him, hiding her expression from him.

"Good." Was the simple response that exited her lips. In all honesty though, things haven't been all that for her. Yes, she hardly had to participate in a match anymore, but that meant she wasn't getting much recognition! "You? You seem a lot happier this time, did you take classes not to be a loser?" Gail was being a bit harsh on him... but he deserved it.
