SS 15 Falls Count Anywhere: River Styx Vs. Angel

Styx started to step over the ropes and make her way into the ring, when she was distracted by the sound of screaming Mexicans. Well, the entire arena was filled with Mexicans screaming at her, so that was anything big by itself, but there was one particular group that was raging at the top of their lungs. She might've just written it off to a bunch of overenthusiastic fans, but these ones looked somewhat familiar. Familiar eyes. A couple of them even had silver hair, which could be a dye job, but...

"Oh, you're shitting me. You actually brought your family down for this?" Styx licked her lips as she stepped into the ring, looking between the family and Angel. The bell finally rang, starting the match off proper - Styx's initial plan had been to just throw her back out again as soon as she had a chance, but now that she knew who was watching, she had much better idea.

She stepped over Angel's prone body, lifted her boot up high, and drove it down hard into her tanned and taut stomach, slamming it with enough force to make the whole ring quake. "I wonder if they'll try to stop me when I'm beating the shit out of you after the match. I really, really hope they do."

Angel was tough, a lot tougher then a lot of women in the company gave her credit for. She could take a hell of a beating and still manage to turn things back around and walk out with a win.

She was having to take such a beating now. Styx wasn't giving her any time to try and shake off her throws and hits, leaving the Latina out of it as she continued her assault. Up came Styx's boot, and down it went, slamming hard into the Latina's exposed tummy. Her entire body shuddered at the blow, Angel jerking up after the impact, rolling onto her side with a weak cough, her hands moving to her midsection to hold herself gingerly.

Not good not good NOT GOOD! was all she could think, the Latina unable to get her head back into the game and figure out how to begin mounting her counterattack.

Styx threw her hands up in triumph as Angel rolled to the side, withering under her assault. Cocky? Yeah. Hell yeah. But she was earning. She wasn't just winning this match, she was decidedly winning it. If she'd been the sort of person to jump for joy, she would've. Right on top of Angel's back. There was an idea for later on, though.

For now, though, she wanted to milk this sudden development for all it was worth. "Let's go say hi, introduce me." Styx once again reached down and grabbed Angel by the hair, dragging her a few feet over to the ropes. She lifted her up, just enough for her to reach the middle rope, then forced her neck across it.

"Smile!" She grinned as she grabbed the top rope and planted her book right in the middle of Angel's back, forcing her weight down and choking Angel while her kin looked on from only a few feet away. The referee moved in and pushed at her shoulder, trying to get her to break it up, but Styx didn't pay her any mind. She was having the time of her life, and no striped shirt was going to ruin it.

A soft shriek passed through Angel's lips, the Latina quickly reaching up, grabbing for Styx's wrists in a vain effort to pull the woman's hands away from her hair. It was useless, though. She was hurting, and Styx was fresh and had all the momentum in the world. Within a few mere moments, she had been pulled to the ropes and propped up onto them.

Angel's brothers and sisters, naturally, began to jeer and yell at Styx, angry Spanish words coming from the four of them towards the brute. In another situation, Angel might had been inspired by their anger to fight back, to try and turn things around on Styx. It was no good though. All she could do was gag and gasp helplessly, as the bigger, heavier woman pushed down on her, choking the life out of the former champion.

While Styx was no translator, she spoke Spanish well enough to get the gist of what Angel's little clones were saying. Not that she really needed to understand the words to get the general gist with a situation like this.

"They sound pissed." Styx whistled, as one of them managed to say a foreign curse word even she wasn't familiar with. Impressive. "Let's see if we can't make it worse, huh?"

Styx finally let up on the choke and pulled her foot away, giving the former champion some breathing time she'd likely appreciate. It was going to be a fleeting feeling, though, and she made sure of that by reaching down and wrapping  her arms around Angel's tight stomach from behind. Styx pulled her up to her feet, then locked her hands right in front of the Latina's belly button, going for a crushing reverse bearhug, squeezing Angel like she could cut her in two right down the middle.

And that was only part one of what she had planned...

Desperation.

That was the one word that best described the mindset of the Latina as Styx continued to manhandle her. She was desperate to start fighting back, to get herself actually into the match and bring the hurting to Styx, but there wasn't much she could do to stop her, not while she was being choked like this. It was pathetic, it made Angel feel pathetic, getting beaten down like this so easily by the brute.

It wasn't until Styx started to lift Angel back up to her feet that the former champion realized she finally had a chance. It was a small chance, but it was still a chance, and she had to take whatever she could get.

As Styx began to tighten her arms around her, and tried to lock in her reverse bearhug, Angel let out a furious scream, and began to swing her arm backwards, trying to drive her elbow directly into Styx's face, not just once, but as many times as she could manage, in an attempt to get the woman to let her go. It was a long shot, but she didn't have many other options available to her.

Angel only weighed, oh, about 130 pounds. Styx could toss that easy, so she was reasonably sure her plan was going to work here. It was a simple idea, but one that appealed to her sensibilities immensely - she was going to do a German Suplex, toss Angel over the top rope, and have her land ass-over-teakettle right in front of her family. From there, Styx could start bringing the real pain.

She clinched tight, started to jerk back, got ready for the toss. "Time to-"

Styx was going to say 'fly' but she was cut off by a sharp elbow in the face. And another. And another. The crowd seemed to cheer louder and louder with each blow, and when the fourth made her let go of Angel, they completely lost their shit. Styx stumbled back against the ropes, holding her nose as it began to feel a lot looser and a lot wetter. Busted. Great. "Fucking bitch!"

The moment, the exact moment, that Styx let her go, Angel whirled back around to face her, and all of her desperation melted away, replaced by determination and a single-minded fury. Styx had been dominating her, sure, but that was about to change right here, and right now.

Angel rushed in towards Styx, still shaken up but letting her adrenaline and her fury carry her towards the brute. She moved straight towards her, and as the Latina drew near closer, she suddenly jumped straight towards Styx, trying to thrust both of her legs into the woman's chest, trying to send her toppling back out of the ring with a forceful dropkick.

Styx reared back up, got ready to bash Angel's scrawny body underneath the ring, and found herself staring down the length of the former champion's mile-long legs for one terrifying nanosecond.

It was only two legs simultaneously kicking her in the chest. Somewhere in the back of Styx's mind, she realized that, but at the moment they hit, she could've sworn she was getting slugged with a fucking sledgehammer. That was certainly what the effect looked like, too - Newton's laws had their way, her feet left the ground, and she was sent flipping over the ropes, tumbling to the floor below. It was only by an early Christmas miracle that she landed on her feet instead of her head, and even then, she didn't stay on them for long, as the momentum made her roll all the way back into the barricade. Pretty much exactly where she'd wanted to toss Angel.

And the crowd completely lost their shit. Styx hadn't seen so many Mexicans get so loud since the last time she watched a football game. It didn't nothing to help her growing migraine, as she rubbed her head with one hand and reached up with the other, trying to grab the top of the railing to pull herself up.

Angel bounced off of Styx after her dropkick, and hit the mat, quickly scrambling back up to her feet. The roar of the crowd around her told her all that she needed to know, but it was good to see it with her own eyes: Styx was reeling, and Angel had another perfect chance to keep up the pressure on the woman.

She whirled on one heel to face away from the ropes, and took off towards the other side of the ring, hitting the ropes on the opposite side and bouncing off of them, using the rebound to build up her speed and momentum. As she approached the ropes closest to Styx again, she launched herself upwards, vaulting over the ropes and out of the ring, coming through the air with another flying dropkick aimed straight for Styx. It was a way riskier maneuver then before, but Angel was all too aware that she needed to keep up as much pressure as she could on Styx.
