Grudge Match: Captain America v Winter Soldier (Cosplay)

Walking beside him, he chanced brushing his hand against Jean's as they made their way toward the locker rooms. Once they reached there, Dave carefully undid his cosplay and folded it neatly, setting it in his bag with his shield set beside it.

Upon feeling David's hand brush against his, Jean's pulled away as he had not completely forgiven him yet. A heartfelt apology and realization of the truth had mostly mended things, but there were still cracks that had yet to be addressed. David still had some work ahead of him in order to salvage their relationship and Jean's trust in him, but Jean was willing to work with him to figure it out. Doubtlessly things would never quite be the same between them, but whether that was for the better or for the worse was yet to be seen.

Once in the locker room, Jean slipped out of his Winter Soldier cosplay and folded it up. He wasn't quite sure just yet whether it had been worth all the heartache it had caused. Only time would tell what long term effects if would have on the two of them, but for now, Jean was eager to jump to the making up phase of getting back together.

Dave's face fell when Jean pulled his hand away, but that was to be expected, given what transpired over the previous few weeks.

He looked at Jean before putting his bag over his shoulder and heading to Dave's place.
