Re-enter the Dragon

Goddamn, did that suck. That sucked hard.

Kozue groaned as she slid down the wall, knowing full well that there'd be a lot of pain coming. She'd  been in this place before with this same asshole - a street fight that went bad in a hurry. She wasn't alone like last time, but she had the bad feeling that wouldn't make too much of a difference. Nobody seemed all that interested in getting involved and since Black Dragon had came close to giving her some serious and permanent injuries the last time they met, that did not bode well.

To her surprise, Black Dragon didn't pounce on her while she was down - no, he beckoned her to rise, seemed to be daring her. Change of pace for him, but she wasn't about to squander the opporunity. "If that's what you want..."

Kozue leaned against the wall for support as she rose back up, standing as best she could to face him again and ignoring the pain in her back as best she could. She broke into a sudden run and charged straight at him, ducking low and trying to hit him with a spear. Or a tackle. Or whatever you'd call it in this situation. She wanted him down.

Dragon felt the adrenaline flow as Kozue got back to her feet. This was a good old-fashioned street fight, witnesses and everything. No ref, no rules, no mercy. There was no padding on the floor or walls, no count outs, or disqualifications. Only the onlookers could really prevent either from getting too hurt. And the idea of it surged confidence into the man. It seemed he wasn't the only one who liked the idea.

The purple-hooded girl shouted at Ninjette to kick his ass, even though she really didn't care who kicked whose ass. She just wanted to see them fight. It was somewhat primal in this setting, and so much more awesome. The cameraman roughly observed the match but his view of it was narrow and close up, making for a difficult to watch bout. It wasn't something he was about to miss, though.

Kozue restarted the action by trying to charging the larger man. He expected her to attempt a kick or punch, but instead she tried to tackle him to the ground. He took a step back and braced, catching the spear in the abdomen, but not buckling over. He groaned from the pain, but had already had his hands interlocked above his head. The man dropped a double ax handle onto Kozue's back from above.

Kozue hadn't checked her weight since she left/was kicked out of/was expelled from the dojo, but last she did, it was going up. About 136 pounds, up from her old 118. Mostly muscle. Not bad.

Black Dragon, though, probably weighed around 200 pounds. So, to put it in a short way, her trying to tackle him was a supremely stupid idea. A strong contender for her stupidest. But she wasn't in a thinking mood at the moment. She was in a fighting mood, and physics weren't something she was currently capable of contemplating.

It earned her an axe handle on her back and a lot of pain.

Kozue cried out and fellt flat to her stomach, groaning and moaning and gritting her teeth. She tried to push up, managed to get a foot up...then fell again. "Fucker."

The sight of the ninja girl crumbling at his feet made Dragon laugh through his mask. He reached down and wrapped his arms around her waist, hauling her up and into the air in a powerbomb-ish stance. Being dropped with the combined weight of both of them onto the pavement was enough, he imagined, to put Kozue down.

Part of Dragon kept him very conscious of his surroundings. The last time he was in a brawl like this, a certain Higurashi ambushed him and made it a two on one. With all the people watching, especially with the camera broadcasting it to god knows who, he fully expected someone to come rushing to Kozue's aid at any moment. He didn't like the idea of being bashed with a crowbar again.

Still, he knew he couldn't be concerned with what could be. The fight was in front of him, and he had to focus on it. Dropping the ninja girl on the pavement wasn't enough. He remembered where the trash cans were and ran towards them, charging up for a running powerbomb!

All of the sudden, Kozue hated gravity with a passion. She tried to push up. Her muscles refused. She tried again. Nothing. Everything hurt, down to the bone, and every little movement sent ripples of pain down her body. It would be a few minutes before she was standing again.

Unfortunately, Black Dragon helped her back up, and he didn't get her all the way. Kozue had never been powerbombed before, but she'd seen it before. Enough times to recognize the position and more than enough times to realize how much it would absolutely suck if she took the move anywhere but inside the ring. "No-"

He wouldn't have listened to her pleading if she'd had enough time to do it, anyway, so it hardly mattered. One moment she was up, the next she was hurtling down, and the only thing that could save her was instinct - it was a long shot, and it hurt her body just to try, but she jerked back before he could complete the move, trying to send Black Dragon flipping away with a hurricanrana. One of the oldest tricks in the wrestling book and one of the main ones she'd practiced on. Thank the wrestling gods.

Dragon was charging forward recklessly, all in the name of pummeling Kozue into the trash cans. As he dropped her down with the powerbomb though, she suddenly held on to his head with her legs. Instead of the momentum pounding her into the floor, it carried him forward...and right into the trash cans. "Oh shit!" a bystander exclaimed as he crashed into the bins, trash being sent flying and rolling away as Dragon groaned.

He coughed twice, both from the smell of the damned trash. He managed to roll away from one of the trash bins which he settled on after the hurricanrana. He coughed more, holding both the back of his head and lower back. He had landed on each of them and wasn't quick to rebound as it had before. "Kick his ass!" another bystander yelled to Kozue.

Dragon, furious at the embarrassment, managed to plant his arm into the ground and pull himself up to one knee. He was slow to do so, but refused to just lay there and take it for then.

Kozue groggily stood back up after landing the hurricanrana and gave the crowd a quick thumbs up, trying to smile a bit through the pain. At least she had some of the corwd on her side, even if they didn't seem all that interested in actually intervening. She knew how this worked. Two men enter, one man leave. Classic streetfighting rules.

Her focus changed, however,  when she heard the sound of rustling trash. Sure enough, Black Dragon was every bit as tough as he looked and then some, already making his way back. A little wobbly, sure. But he was rising, and Kozue knew she had to put a stop to it. Her body couldnt' take too many more blows like that axe handle.

She stumbled towards him and reached down, scooping a trash can lid off the ground as she moved. As soon as she was close enough, she took a short jump forward and swung it right as his head - maybe some blunt force trauma would keep him down for a while.

Dragon's head was ringing, but he knew that pain would pass. He wasn't use to having to break falls on solid concrete. It was exponentially worse than in a ring.

He was on one knee and just planted his other foot when he heard the footsteps closing in fast. He looked up just in time to catch the blow head on. The metal trashcan lid bashed across his face rather brutally, making his head snap back on impact. The man groaned in pain and fell to his back as if he had just been...well bashed in the face with a trashcan lid.

"Damn!" another bystander shouted from the hit, only to take a quick picture of the aftermath.

Kozue had Black Dragon down and reeling. If this were in the ring, she'd follow up with any number of manuevers to make sure he stayed there. It was so ingrained in her thinking that she even found herself glancing to the side, looking for ropes that weren't even there to jump off of.

Instead, she went for something a lot simpler: Kozue reeled her foot back, swung it forward, and kicked him in the chest. Then she kicked him again. And again. And she'd probably keep doing it until she couldn't do it anymore, for whatever reason that might be.

Dragon could taste the blood in his mouth from that trash can blow. For once, his first thought wasn't rage, but pain. He couldn't remember the last time he was on his back like this hurting so badly. It wasn't the worst pain he'd ever experienced, but it was hard to remember the last time it even got close. Fucking shit.

And Kozue wasn't done yet. She ran up to him and kicked him in the chest. Undefended, it hit hard, and he groaned from the impact. He tried to bring his arms up to protect himself but the kicks kept coming. He could feel the rage coming back.

He managed to lean forward and to the side, starting to get up. When another kick came in, his arms reached out and grabbed it firmly at the ankle. Then, he yanked Kozue towards him while swinging out his arm powerfully in a clothesline!
