Carmen locked in the headlock tight - or, at least, she thought she did. When she and Army sparred, she always managed to get it in well enough and hold him down for a little while before he forced her to push off.

But Reira wasn't Army. She was better.

Carmen fell to her knee and let go of the headlock, but she wasn't about to leave herself vulnerable if she could help it. She swung her elbow out behind her, trying to hit Reira in the gut to give them both some space.

The shot to her gut made her back off, rubbing her stomach, growling a bit as she got her arms back up.

"Alright, you're quick. You still wanna go?"

She growled, aiming to give Carmen a kick to her back before she got away.

Carmen had thought she was clear, but that was proven painfully and undoubtedly wrong when Reira planted a hard boot right in the middle of her back. "Cheap shot!"

That was about all that Carmen had time to say before she took a nasty tumble forward, heading straight to the ropes. She hit it right on the chest for a nasty slap. Painful, embarrassing, and more than that, it left her wide open from the back - not an ideal position, and she tried to get back to her feet as soon as possilbe.

Reira just laughed in response, letting Carmen get back to her feet without issue, though she kept her arms up in a grappling stance.

"I guess boxers don't know how to watch their back. You ready to continue? I'm sure we can get a few more shots of me kicking your ass for the game. They'll be putting me on the cover after they see this footage!"

Ritsuko raised her hand as Carmen rose, sheepishly speaking up as she dared to near the ring and get the champion's attention. "Um, well, actually, you are on the cover. Or you will." She gave a quick wave, trying to get their attention. "We were gonna put you side by side with-"

Carmen popped up and spun around before she even had the chance to finish the sentence, taking the opportunity to come at Reira with a sweeping backfist. One hard, solid fist, going right for her bright, red, smirking face.

Reira was cocky, distracted by Ritsuko, confident that she had a good gauge on the boxer.

At least, until she got the back of Carmens fist smashed into her face, causing her to fall back and lean against the rope, stars in her vision as she let out a pained groan, shaking her head to try and clear her vision after that hard hit.

And with that, Carmen did something that pretty much everyone in Tension had wanted to do since Reira reared her ugly head at the Battle Royale: punching the World Champion in the face.  If there was anything more satisfying, she didn't have the imagination to visualize it.

But she wasn't done with that. Not even close.

Carmen moved in as Reira was dazed and took hold of her wrist with both hands, getting a solid grip. She leaned into the smaller wrestler, got a little bounce off the ropes, then sent her off with a fierce Irish Whip to the other side. As soon as she was off and running, Carmen moved to the center of the ring and bent over, setting up for a back body drop.

"DAMNIT!"

Reira growled, rubbing her sore nose before being whipped hard across the ring, and finding herself being flipped into the air and landing hard on her back, arching her back and letting out another loud curse. 

Pounding her fist on the mat, she rolled over and started pushing herself up to all fours.

"You're really asking for it chica!"

That last comment got under Carmen's skin in a way Reira could never know. There was precisely one woman that she would tolerate calling her 'chica', and it was distinctly not this bitch.

She charged in as Reira was getting back to her feet, trying to recover after her hard landing. In a boxing match, she would've had to hold back and wait for her opponent to recover. But this was wrestling. More to the point, this was a brawl, of sorts. That meant anything went, and she intended to go in with that mindset.

She stepped forward and swung her leg towards Reira as she got up, trying to hit her with a quick snap kick in the chest.

What sucked worse than a punch to the face? A follow up kick to the tits!

Reira's head flew back, stumbling towards the ropes, rubbing her bust after that kick.

"You know what? I'm the damn champ. I don't have to put up with this kind of bullshit!"

Reira yelled, the redhead slipping through the ropes and hopping out of the ring.
